Sunday we drive up the coast. We stopped at the Tillamook Creamery which was interesting, a maritime museum and several beaches including Cannon Beach and The Wreck of Peter Iredale. It is so gorgeous to see the huge pine trees right up against the ocean with these huge rock formations in the water.
Saturday we got up and drove to Silver Falls State Park. There is a trail there called 10 falls trail. We hiked part of the trail and saw several of the waterfalls. My favorites were the ones you could hike behind. The north falls was absolutely gorgeous with its hike behind.
We flew into Portland about 10. We got some food and then headed to Columbia River Gorge. We stopped at the Vista House to check out the incredible views and then headed for the falls. We stopped at Loterelli Falls before getting our ebikes. We rode and hiked to Wahtanee, Mohtanomah, horsetail and behind ponytail falls and finished with Bridal Veil Falls. It was a fun day hanging out with Jamie.
