Izzys unicorns
We just enrolled Isabella into a Montossori pre-school. It is right down the street from my school, and it seemed like the best place to send her for this coming school year. They are a uniform school, so we had to go out looking for bottoms for her to wear. When explaining to Isabella that she needed to wear a uniform, she got so excited. She said she couldn't wait to wear her "unicorns". Thats my bug.
izzy and russell go to the Mirage
Mom and I took the kids to the Mirage for Educator day. Isabella loves all things having to do with water, so she was so excited to see the dolphins. Russell Jr. had a great time talking to the animals. Isabella has such a want for knowledge. She loves to ask questions and really understands the asnwers. She watched the trainers examine one of the dolphins and wanted to know what they were doing. We try to go on outings like this as much as we can. We had a blast!

Princess Isabella
Here is Isabella and her daddy dancing. Isabella asked daddy if he would be her Prince Charming and dance with her. She LOVES it when her daddy dances with her and twirls her.

....Must.....Not.....Sleep......
Little R.J. spent about 30 minutes in his bouncer before getting tired. If you look closely in the video you can see him sleeping......yet bouncing at the same time. I can't quite figure out how he did that. I guess he just likes to bounce.....no matter what.

Yack, Yack, Yack.....Russell talking at 16 weeks.
After R.J. rolled over quite a few times (and got tired), he was in a chatting mood. Again, we are lucky we had the camera close by. Here he is having a conversation with his mommy (in his new onsie). His daddy says he gets his gift of gab from me. I'm quite proud of that. :-)
Russell Rolls Over (16 Weeks!)
Little boy has been working on rolling over for about a week now. He rolls to his side and hangs out for a few mintues. Yesterday (the 27th of June) he rolled over in his bed (but nobody saw it). So today his daddy and I were playing on the floor with him when he rolled! We thought it was a one time roll, but then he did it again, and again, and again. Luckily we had the camera close by, so we were able to catch it on film. He is 16 weeks 1 day.

Goin' For The Gold
While watching the Olympic Trials on T.V., Isabella started doing what she saw on T.V. She goes to a gymnastic class every Saturday, and she has decided that she wants to do gymnastics on T.V. when she gets bigger. During one floor routine, Isabella turned to me and told me she wanted her red gymnastics. It is an outfit she wore for her Christmas program. So, we found it, put it on, and the rest is history.

Boing, Boing, Boing Russell 06/21/08
Here is our little muscle man Russell Jr. He is 14 weeks in this video. He has been bouncing in his bouncer for quite some time now. He goes to town in that jumper. He had a doctors appointment on Friday where he was 14.6 pounds 25 inches long. He was so strong that it took 2 nurses to hold him to give him his shots. They could not believe how strong the little man is. He is such an amazingly good baby as well. He hardly fusses (only when he is hungry), and is so quick with a smile that he has the whole family entranced. His daddy and I are constantly wondering how we ended up with such beautiful children. Guess it is just luck. :-)
Izzy At The Olive Garden 06/20/08
After going to the Natural History Museum, we stopped by Olive Garden to get a bite to eat. Isabella saw the olives in our salad and instantly wanted them. She ate all of the olives in the salad, and wanted more. Our wonderful waitress brought her an entire plate of olives. She had so much fun putting them on her fingers and sucking them off (thanks Auntie Sarah). We figured she ate at least 20 olives. We were all fighting over who got to change that diaper the next day.
