Love these two

Salam 'alaik..

'Jangan sibuk mencari, tapi menjadilah'/ Don't bother to find one, but instead become one
- applies in matters of finding soul mate and colleagues. Often that we are too bother in finding the perfect partner or friends who suit with us. Some are busy finding pious man or woman to be their partner. Why must busy looking when Allah has already promised that;

"Vile women are for vile men, and vile men are for vile women; and good women are for good men, and good men are for good women"
(Surah an-Nur 24:26)

So, make yourself busy in becoming a perfect one, instead of expecting others to be one.

Dear 'you' out there,
who I do not know yet,
please make yourself busy in improving yourself,
your iman, amal and akhlaq,
for I am trying too.
so that when the time comes,
for us to meet each other,
we are both among the people,
who are in their routes
towards the perfection of iman
and are completing each other...
InsyaAllah....

Preventing is better than curing
-It applies to diseases. But also, in our deeds. How? Do you know that we have a heart? Of course we do. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) once said as narrated by Abu Hurairah;

“When the Mu’min sins, a black spot forms on his heart. If he makes istighfaar and taubah, the black mark is removed and his heart is purified. If he increases his sin, the black mark increases. This is the corrosion of the heart spoken of by Allah Ta’ala (in the Qur’an)
(Ahmad, Tirmizi, Ibn Majah)

Every time we do sin, a dark spot appears in our heart. When we keep on doing sins, a lot more spots appear. Even though we repented, the spot disappears but the stain is still there. The effect of our previous sins would affect ourselves or the people around us bit by bit.

So, its better to refrain ourselves from committing sins rather than regretting after committing them. But bear in mind than we would never be able to escape from committing sins as we are not perfect. So, always repent and turn to Allah, although you think you do not commit any sin, cause sometimes we just cannot realize it. Even the Prophet himself istighfar for more than 70 times each day...

'Sabr'! You are needed here

Salam 'alaik..

Subhanallah walhamdulillah wa la ilaha illallah wallahu akbar..

Things happened this week, and some are still. Regardless how big or small they are, how hard or easy for us to face them, always turn to Allah.. Remember that they are all tests from Him as signs that He loves us. Do not make yourself busy thinking about the problems, but do think of the 'hikmah' (hidden goodness) from them. Turn to Allah, and share the tears and sadness with Allah..

Dear me,
These few weeks are really hectic, tiring and stressful.
But they are not the reasons for me to give up so easily.
Know that Allah has planned all these for me,
Not to just accept them as they are without doing nothing,
But to face them with courage and sabr (patience).
May Allah give me the strength to handle them,
In the best way I could..
InsyaAllah

Love the Dark

Salam 'alaik..

Oh, I love to see the sky at night. The moon and the stars. Subhanallah, such great creations that our Lord had created. I wonder if there is a place where I can sit quietly and alone, but safe, to watch the stars..To have my private moments with the stars. Oh, I know nothing about them but I do appreciate their existence and beauty.. All praises to Allah Who created all these..

Having to see the sky, the moon and the stars, gives me some kind of pleasure, peace, calm, and a strong feeling deep in my heart, of the Greatness of Allah's creation. How Powerful Allah is. Having to watch all these makes me feel how weak I am. Makes me wonder, do I deserve to have the opportunity to watch these every night, with all the sins that I have made, that I still make?Verily, Allah is the Most Merciful..

I love to see the beach, and hear the sound of the waves and the birds uttering zikr (praises) to Allah. Having private moments with all these could make me bursts into tears... Such emotional effects they have on me... Subhanallah...

Lo! In the creation of the heavens and the earth and (in) the difference of night and day are tokens (of His Sovereignty) for men of understanding,

Such as remember Allah, standing, sitting, and reclining, and consider the creation of the heavens and the earth, (and say): Our Lord! Thou createdst not this in vain. Glory be to Thee! Preserve us from the doom of Fire.

(Surah al-Imran 3:190-191)
