 “Love… believes all things, hopes all things” — 1 Corinthians 13:7

One of the most challenging parts of walking in Christlike love is choosing to think the best about others—especially our brothers and sisters in the faith. Scripture calls us to a love that is patient, kind, and not easily provoked. A love that doesn’t jump to conclusions, assume motives, or assign blame without understanding.

So often, what we think was disrespect, offense, or intentional hurt… turns out to be an honest misunderstanding. When we slow down, speak privately, and seek clarity with humility, we may discover the other person never meant harm at all.

“The purposes of a person’s heart are deep waters” (Proverbs 20:5)—and only the Spirit truly knows what is in another’s heart.

That’s why the way we correct, question, or confront someone—whether family, friends, fellow believers, or business partners—matters deeply to God. Jesus gave us a clear pattern:

Go to your brother privately first (Matthew 18:15).

Gossip, venting to others, or making assumptions about someone’s motives grieves the Holy Spirit and sows unnecessary division. But approaching someone directly, kindly, and with the goal of unity honors the Lord and strengthens relationships.

Love doesn’t accuse.

Love doesn’t assume.

Love doesn’t tear down behind closed doors.

Love seeks understanding.

Love goes directly—graciously, privately, humbly.

Love always hopes for the best.

May we be people who protect unity, who believe the best, who speak the truth in love, and who honor God in the way we treat every person we’re connected to.

 Sharing is caring. Naysayers will always do what naysayers do. But hear my heart: there are more Leeannas out there—men and women praying desperately for God to show them the path to healing. Selfishness keeps us focused only on what we gain. Selflessness compels us to share because of what’s possible for others. When we put people first, the income simply becomes a side benefit of helping the hurting.

So do your best to reach as many people as you can, as often as you can. Before long, you’ll feel better, the people you love will feel better, and your income will reflect the number of lives touched…and yes, sometimes the number of naysayers you risked being criticized by.

And let me gently add this: I’ve learned through many tears that some people I thought were true friends…weren’t. True friends will be genuinely excited for you. They’ll support you when you find healing—they won’t ghost you. In this space, people will sometimes judge your motives—whether you’re sharing Jesus our Savior or miracles that He created for us to find.  Let them. Let them judge, ghost, or ignore. That’s their choice. But you can rejoice, because it simply means you’re free to move forward and reach the ones who truly need what you carry.

Time is short for doing the works God has ordained for us. Sharing the Good News and working our businesses is righteous. Scripture tells us that those who don’t work, don’t eat. Proverbs 31 shows us a woman who worked diligently and was celebrated for it. Determine in your heart that you are doing the work God has given you for such a time as this—and then do it.

There is an old saying that one day truth and error went swimming. While they were swimming, error got out and stole

 truth’s clothes. The truth came out naked, and he has been naked ever since. Because of that, error always looks like it is so because it has on the wrong clothes; but you can always spot truth because it is naked.

Why was Jesus led into temptation? Was God or the devil the tempter? James teaches us that God tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire.   Our Father does not put the evil desires and the pride of life within us. However, He orders our steps and allows the devil to test us for the purpose of proving the genuineness of our faith. 

So, who is this devil that God allows to test our faith? First called Lucifer, Star of the Morning, he was the anointed covering cherub. He was blameless until unrighteousness was found in him and he sinned. He was full of pride because of his beauty and his wealth, corrupting his wisdom.   At some point, Lucifer fell from heaven and when we find him on earth, he is called “the serpent.” As punishment for tempting Eve, he was made to crawl on his belly and eat dust, in contrast with the exalted position he once flaunted.   He is called the prince of demons, the father and author of lies. He is our adversary (Satan) who provokes us to fret over our circumstances, doubting the goodness of God. He is a blasphemer of God’s name. He is the daily accuser of the brethren, laying to our charge laws we are guilty of breaking and demanding our punishment. However, God is our just Judge and 

takes up our defense. The devil “diabolos” is the slanderer, backbiter, defamer, false accuser, unjust criticizer who seeks to hurt, defame, and malign, severing and destroying relationships.   Without a doubt, he does nothing without God's permission. He is not all-powerful, nor does he have his own authority. Thankfully, the serpent’s future has been sealed and is written in the final 

pages of the Bible. The dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, will deceive one last time. Being terrified, his head will be crushed by Jesus, and he will be no more.  At this time, the tempter will be thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where he will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” Amen and hallelujah to The Lamb.

—Do you tend to pray over the testings and trials that hit you or do you tend more towards grumbling and complaining?

 Sunday is Here, Friends! 

Today I want to testify of the goodness of our Father.  I want to give Him the credit that He is deserves.  

I want to impart to you, hope in the benefits of seeking the LORD, first, in times of need.  

I could not sleep restfully through the night for many months without some type of sleeping help, and even with those, my sleep was not of good quality. I would wake up groggy and needing caffeine to make it through the day. Some nights, I wouldn’t sleep at all.  

In April of this year, I began to realize what I had been doing to try to sleep, was never going to work and i was miserable.   So I literally gave up my own ideas about rest, and began to earnestly seek the LORD’s wisdom and answer.  It really was not long before He brought the answer to me! A picture is worth a thousand words! 

I don’t recall having this deep quality of rested sleep since I was a teenager.  To actually get to REM SLEEP and dream again, is a powerful gift from God! I don’t always sleep 9-12 hours 😂 unless I really want to, but I can!   

I am waking up alert and feeling so peaceful and ready for the day.  No caffeine needed! Thank God!

My word for today is “Seek the LORD for the things you need”.   

Seek Him with all your heart.  

Seek Him because you know He is good and He hears your prayers.  

As you seek, remember all the good things He has done for you in the past.  

Give Him praise for all the many ways He has rescued you and brought you through hard times.  

Seek Him, in His Beauty, His wisdom and His direction.  Then watch and see what He reveals to you.  

When He brings the answer, don’t be tempted to look away for another way.  God is not bi-polar; He is all-knowing and His ways are right and true.  He is steadfast and kind.  You can trust Him.  

When He answers, step out in faith and do the hard thing.  It will be an Ebenezer Stone of Remembrance in your faith-walk with your Father.  

His eye is on the sparrow and He is always watching you too.  

“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.””

 SUNDAY IS HERE!

Good morning!

I’m up early this Sunday, praying for my friends and family, and reflecting on some important things.

Have you ever noticed what kinds of thoughts pull you down into worry or sadness? For me, the greatest enemy I’ve ever encountered is the spirit of Fear.

He’s a liar and a thief. He sneaks into our thoughts like a bandit, carrying a knapsack filled with destruction. He steals from us—our joy, our peace, our faith in the promises of God. And once he has our attention, he tries to give us things that only belong to him: lies about God, doubts about the future, shame about the past, condemnation over our choices, and tempting ideas for solving our problems without God.

But anything Fear offers only leads to regret and failure.

Don’t eat the fruit he hands you. Instead, take every fearful or discouraging thought and immediately turn it into a prayer. Bring it to your Father—the One who loves you most. Ask Him about the thoughts that are weighing you down. Then listen to what Truth has to say.

Believe God. Live free.

“It is for freedom that Christ has set you free.” (Galatians 5:1)

You no longer serve the enemy. His camp of despair is not your home.

Invite the Spirit of Christ Jesus to fill your heart and mind. He is your place of rest. He is your safety. He is your refuge.

Remember who you are—and Whose you are. Then cast that spirit of Fear far from you. And don’t let him leave with that knapsack!

Take back everything he’s tried to steal:

Take back your God-given joy.

Take back your God-given peace.
