Manneken-Pis. The little statue is decorated by different costume in different time of the year. For example, a santa claus costume during christmas.


Its chocolates! Yes, Belgium chocolate, everywhere!! There are mant cholocate shops here and we bought a few of hand-made chocolate back to Singapore!

Amsterdam. Each houses are uniquely differentiated by the roof design.


Behind us is the glass-domed boat. We will be taking a cruise along the canals of Amsterdam. We can see boat houses everywhere.

PARIS - RIVER TOUR

Louvre museum in Paris. We know that this place is shown in the movie Da Vinci Code. We only manage to take photo outside the museum.
A according to what i have read in the net, there is an urban myth about this place... It has been claimed by some that the number of glass panes in the Louvre Pyramid is exactly 666 (the number of the beast, associated with Satan). Some also claim that the entire structure is based on the number 6. The Louvre museum however states that the finished pyramid contains 673 glass panes. This myth resurfaced in 2003, when Dan Brown incorporated it in his best-selling novel 'The Da Vinci Code'. And i believe till today, its still a mystery....

A minature of the Statue of Liberty along the river. The actual statue is in US, given by France in the late 19th century, standing at Liberty Island in New York Harbour. as a gift to indicate good relationship between the two nations.

PARIS

We are near eiffel tower. This spot is great for photo taking, according to the guide. But we think the tower is too far away.

Camera tricks again!!...




Magificent view! See eiffel tower standing tall at the backdrop. The 2 big glass panels at the center are engraved with the word 'peace' in different languages. Those rows of small pillar at the two sides should signify something but we do not know the symoblic meaning.


Missing tower!! I am trying to capture the tower as the background using my 'good' self-taking skill.... but, to our disappointment.... *sign*


The Arc de Triomphe. Its difficult to get near the foot of the arc as it is surrounded by heavy traffic.


At the foot of eiffel tower. Its amazing!! We have been dreaming about this moment! Paris is a place where many couples will wan to visit and now we are here!! The queue to the lift is long, but its worth waiting for! We will be going to the 2nd sty (middle section). The view is superb! The moment we reach the storey, we immediately walk around the tower to have a good view of the scenery.

The hotel in france. Its a nice and elegant place.


self auto-washing toilet. According to our guide Barry, the toilet will unlock the door by itself when u are done with your business and then, closed again automatically with water being sprayed in the toilet for a complete wash up. We wanted to give it a try initially. Then we never cos the toilet looks a bit dirty and we are afraid to get ourselves wet.
