Chasing __________
I watched the movie Chasing Mavericks two days back and I've to say, I'm amazed at the effects of the huge waves that just come crashing down on the rocks. More than that, the movie left me a question. Jay was willing to go ALL the way to learn how to ride on a maverick. It was like he was made to do that. He would give his life to do it. What am I willing to give my life for?
Let me quote something at the beginning of the movie and how it actually spoke to me (weirdly and unexpectedly).
“We all come from the sea, but we’re not all of the sea. We, children of the tides, must return to it again and again.”
We all come from the Lord (we are fearfully and wonderfully made), but we're not all of the Lord (we were created in His image). We, children of the Lord, must return to Him again and again (indeed).
Talk is cheap. How much am I willing to do? This is probably something that I have to ask myself and start to get going again in this season.

Lord I thank You for Your faithful mercy
All my footsteps have been guarded by grace
From this moment on my heart will praise You
Lord I love You
Lord I love You
Mercy mercy
Goodness and kindness
Love and forgiveness
Mercy mercy
It's been mercy all the way
It's been mercy all the way

You hold my world in Your hands
You hold my world in Your hands
And I am amazed at Your love
I am amazed that You love me
You hold my world in Your hands
You hold my world in Your hands
I'm not afraid, my world is safe in Your hands
Oh, in Your hands
