Vampire Weekday (apparently its a band)

Gordon the Golden Eagle takes a girl to Georgia.
Fantastic Female flies Frontier for fun in...Fatlanta.
(translation: Paige went to Georgia for a fun trip)

We started our adventure at the end--This old cemetery

This was actually a really cool, old, historic, big, verdant, non-spooky, formerly racist cemetery.

Then we took a quick trip to Virginia, aka, Covington GA.

We were so excited to see this clock tower in person!
Craig says he was right.  This place IS full of only extremely attractive people.  He didn't come with us.
Oops, my selfie skills chopped off the clock.

Thank you, kind stranger, for sharing your exemplary photography skills.

I hope you all like watermelon pull'n peels (licorice), because apparently that's what forever smells like.

On our way to Wickery Bridge.
We desperately tried to warn this truck of the impending danger ahead.  The path may be beautiful, but it's perilous!

"WE SURVIVED WICKERY BRIDGE!!!"
(this is my all time favorite picture)

Meanwhile:  The kids were having their own adventures with Grammy!

Carter is still our climber.

And apparently, Caleb is our zombie?

Teamwork!

The cutest little lambs at the farm.

So happy to be hanging out with Grammy.

Giddy up!

Back in Georgia, we found ourselves lost in a misty jungle.

Oh, we found our way out!

We made some new friends.

And spent quality time with them.

Taking a break near this cool fountain, listening to some live music.

I don't know what this is, but it looked really cool.

She looks pretty cool too.

We look pretty wet.
We got caught in an oncoming storm and had to run back to the car.
When we saw the weather pick up, us Utahns thought we had plenty of time before rain actually started falling.  Welcome to not the desert.

New day, new adventure at the dinosaur museum.
Jayden was reunited with her "sister."
(When she was little, she called this Dino her sister)

It's national bury your sibling day!  Tomorrow is free beef jerky day.

Georgia has very tall trees.

And big trains.

Welcome to my new home!  Former home of President Snow of Panem.

Just kidding.  This is a cool house called Swan house.
It's too big for me to buy.

Grammy is good at teaching the kiddos too when they come to play.
Good color matching buddy!
Grumpy is good at keeping them out of his hair.

At least they have each other.

Hamilton at Fox Theater!

I had such a great time visiting you (and Spencer) in Georgia!  Thanks sis!

The Baby is Three!!

These two friends are so cute together!

Looking for critters with this friend.

Mom & Dad dropped the kids off at Grammy's house to head to Wyoming for one of Craig's races.
Here the kids are waving the customary goodbye.

In Wyoming we got to go rafting with some good friends!

Morning of the race.

A little nervous, but excited.

Paige got to wander around this beautiful place while waiting for Craig to finish the race.

It was a long wait and a funny story, but Paige and Craig were finally reunited at this finish line.

Meanwhile, in Utah, the kids were enjoying themselves at Grammy's house.

No children were broken in the making of this picture.

They love visiting Grams and getting jelly beans!

Love this.

Thanks Grammy, for taking good care of these kids and for wearing them out!

Back at home it's time to play with friends again.

Enjoyed a drive-in movie with some good friends.

The kids had a good time.

The next day, Carter and Jayden joined in a soccer camp with those same friends.
Here Carter is showing off his balancing skills.

Art project:  Light up lanterns.

Caleb did an art project too.  He calls it "Trucks"

Puzzle time!

Grammy came to visit and curled this girl's hair.
Beautiful!

During Caleb's nap, we set up these birthday balloons for him.

He wasn't sure what to think at first.

It only took a minute to figure out what to do with them.

Time for presents!
All three kids were excited!

A firetruck!  I love it!

Thanks Grammy!

A tub of sour cream!  I love it!
Thanks Carter!

I don't know what that is.  You can have it, Jayden.

Mom had to show him the ropes.

Oh I get it now!  This is cool!
(He did a great job eating all his food!  Thanks plate!)

Still enjoying his balloons.

One of his presents has to be put together.

Good thing he had lots of help!
Caleb: "How long will this take?"

New trucks finally assembled, he enjoyed playing with them.

Cake time!

We couldn't decide.....

which picture......

was cutest.

Ooh!  It's glowing!
Make a wish!

I did it!

Good work bulldozer!

This boy decides he's big enough to sneak out and sleep in mom and dad's bed.

It's raining!

See, it does rain here sometimes!

Zoning out for some truck videos.

This boy has been loving learning piano.

Going on a peaceful Sunday walk, we crossed paths with a villainous looking stranger.

Caleb: "Look away, look away.  Maybe he won't see me."

A lot of unease going on in this picture.

I think they are expecting to get attacked any second.

While the big kids are at Code Club at the library, the librarian got Caleb a coding caterpillar to learn with.

Time for some reading.

This book is about trucks!

Buddies.

You found us mom!

With all our fun, we have neglected our garden.
The tomato plants have completely gotten away from us.
