To Grandmothers House We Go

This is Leslie's version of the, 2010 Quilts Etc, block of the month.
She used the 6" blocks and set them using very detailed embroidrey work.
The embroidrey pattern is from Crabapple Hill designs.

Tireless Efforts

Panguitch, Utah
Here is the fantastic bronze dedication to the seven men that made up the party, in the historical, blizzard trek from Panguitch to Parowan to save the town from starvation.

Dedication --summer 2010
due to the vision and tireless efforts of many quilters and fans there is finally a memorial in place. Claudia and Leon dreamed about this for years.
(i wonder how many statues there are in the world dedicated to quilts???)
If you know of any others please leave a comment.

Sublime Time

Crystl pieced this gorgeous king size quilt for her bed. Sorry it took me so long Crystl. The color choices are so soft and inviting. This is a very peaceful and tranquil quilt.

Turning Twenty?

happy birthday Camille pieced this great quilt for her bed at college. It was done just in time for her birthday.
(she might be "turning twenty")
ps.... i think the Turning Twenty pattern is a classic. Right up there with Yellow Brick Road in terms of fun quilts. The fabric line is adorable too, Michael Miller.
(always a good choice)
btw , it turns out that it is Camille's turning twenty birthday, great quilt. Needs a label with a little story about that.
