So, if anyone is still even checking this blog, this post is for you. I apologize. Yes, my time is limited to posting with my two kiddos and little help during the week. However, I can finally not use that excuse for my lack of posts. Our computer was "being fixed" with our computer man for most of November and December. I finally got it back to working, sort of. Finally, as of yesterday we have a working computer. Apparently our new "used" computer that is supposedly faster than our old one, was full of all kinds of garbage/viruses. I am thankful to be back though, and even more thankful that my picture files (which of course is why I really need a computer in the first place) are all in tact and seem to be unharmed. Whew. Look for several Disney posts in the near future!

Snow Day part 2

After lunch Hannah went next door to play with her buddy Bailey. When Hayden's nap was over we bundled up and went outside to play with them. Mr. Wayne had called around earlier in the week and finally found a sled. He, Mrs. Laura, and Daddy got their workout pulling the girls (and sometimes Hayden) around our yards. There were a few spills, a bush to the face, a face plant in the snow and a crash in the road, but nobody got hurt (although there were a few tears from Hannah as she got too cold and tired). Bailey said after one ride "Yes! We didn't get hurt!". Hayden wasn't sure at all about any of it. He liked walking up and down the street the best (just as he did in the morning), but he tried the sled out a few times, and there were some frozen tears in the process.  When we called it a day, I think all the kids were worn out, and most of the adults as well!

And when it was all said and done, hot chocolate and brownies included, a nice warm bath is the way to end the perfect snow day!

Snow Day!

After the great anticipation of snow ALL DAY on Tuesday, we finally got the snow over night. It had started falling right around bedtime and accumulating enough that Hannah was able to see it a little. She woke up to a winter wonderland though, and has been going full steam all day. Hayden, not so much. As usual, he was having a nice little (long) playdate in the middle of the night and the combination of tired and cold just wasn't for him. We may try again after naptime is over (and it's been a good nap too!).

We were unsuccessful making a snowman, the snow wouldn't stick well, but it sure did make a hard snowball. Justin had fun pelting me, with all the cameras, and laughing. After Hayden had had enough, and Hannah had a fresh set of clothes, she went back out to sled in the neighbor's yard with her buddy Bailey. Justin got some video, so that will be next on the upload list. For now, enjoy some pictures of a some SC snow!

Pre Christmas Activities

Ok. So we have been without our computer for 2 months and I am finally able to upload my pictures (hundreds, literally) from Thanksgiving and Christmas and everything in between. I will just pick some of the favorites to catch us up with right now, as not everything is uploaded yet. It's been a process...really.
