First of all, we want to thank you all who joined in on our last challenge, ATC Trio! Absolutly stunning creations! Be sure to check back on Saturday, to see if you are one of our winners!

Sitten vielä yksi asia ennenkuin jatkamme seuraavalla haasteella, pieni muutos tulee haasteblogiin. Nytten EI tartte olla Vintage tyyliä korteissa mukana, jos ei halua. Lisäämme hieman eri "suuntia" esim. Retroa,Vanhanaikaisuutta,Antiikkia,Vintage & Shabby!!

Yksi syy siihen on DT,n on ollut hieman vaikeaa pitää tiukkaa Vintage tyyliä sponsoreimme materiaaleilla. Kaikki kuvat ei aina käy vintage tyyliin! Se ei oikein tunnu oikeudenmukaiselta vaatia teiltä Vintage tyyliä, jos itse emme voi tehdä sitä!

Toivottavasti jatkat silti matkaa meidän kanssamme!

One more thing before we will continue with the next challenge! We are having a slight change here at our challenge site... From now on, you DO NOT have to have Vintage style on your projects to be eligable for our prizes, This is because our DT has had some trouble creating only vintage themed projects with the sponsored materials, some images just aren't vintage! It just doesn't feel fair to demand that you create Vintage when we cant!

So, we are adding more options for you! From now on you can enter with Retro, Old Fashion, Antique,Vintage & Shabby styles! We do hope that you continue creating with us!

#10 ATC-Trio

Tervehdys kaikille ja hyvää Uutta Vuotta! Uuden vuoden aloitamme uudella haasteella, joka on ATC-Trio. TÄSSÄ linkki ohjeisiin. Muistathan palata taajuudelle lauantaina, jolloin arvomme edellisen haasteen voittajat.

Hieman tietoa ATC-korteista:

ATC-kortit ovat keräilykorttien (baseball, jääkiekko jne.) taiteellinen versio. Kortin koko on 64 x 89 mm eli 6,4 x 8,9 cm.

Kortit ovat joko aivan uniikkeja tai samaa korttia on tehty hyvin pieni määrä. Kaikki tekniikat ja materiaalit käyvät: maalaukset, piirrokset, kollaasit, valokuvat, leimailut, sekatekniikka yms. Digitaalisia kollaaseja voi myös tehdä. Ainoana sääntönä on kortin yllä mainittu koko.

Kortin kääntöpuolelle tulee signeeraus, päivämäärä ja numero, mikäli kortti on osa tiettyä sarjaa. Peruslähtökohtana on kortin vaihtaminen toiseen korttiin. Vaihtaminen onnistuu henkilökohtaisesti tai postitse. Kuka tahansa voi organisoida näiden korttien vaihdon. Jos esim. näkee jossain blogissa itselle mieluisan kortin, voi ehdottaa vaihtoa. Periaatteena on, että kortteja ei myydä, vaan ainoastaan vaihdetaan.

A little info about ATC cards:

Artist Trading Cards (or ATCs) are miniature works of art about the same size as modern baseball cards, or 2 ½ X 3 ½ inches (63 mm X 89 mm), small enough to fit inside standard card-collector pockets, sleeves or sheets.The ATC movement developed out of the mail art movement and has its origins in Switzerland. Cards are produced in various media, including dry media (pencils, pens, markers, etc.), wet media (watercolor, acrylic paints, etc.), paper media (in the form of collage, papercuts, found objects, etc.) or even metals or cloth. The cards are usually traded or exchanged rather than sold.
