Check out iThinkMedia.com Too

I really like blogger and will keep this site because it is less visible than iThinkMedia and geared more towards family/friends than clients, business, and technology but I would encourage ya'll to read iThinkMedia.com too. It would also be great to hear your thoughts about the new site too.

Additionally, tonight I've committed myself to write a book, my working title is "Digital for Over a Decade: My Online Journey in the Age of Information" I've got interesting stories to tell that I think might be of use to a few people at least. So just taking it one post at a time - the important thing is I've started! :)

Also, Emily I got your email, yes, put me on an email update! That would be a good thing and I encourage everyone to check out twitter - although I have to remind you, it is addicting, but in a good way. LOL

Watch Randy Pausch's last lecture and you decide. I have to warn you, have some tissue around because you might need them.

Going Green

There are many reasons to go green, one of my first efforts was replacing all the light bulbs in my house with the long lasting ones. My next effort is buying local produce, supporting local farmers in Colorado. I've learned about a new thing called CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) where you can buy into a farm so that over the next few months you get a supply of fresh fruits and vegetables. And I found three links other local Coloradans might find useful:

Venetucci Farms: http://www.venetuccifarm.org
Country Roots Farm: http://www.countryrootsfarm.com
Grant Family Farm: http://www.grantfarms.com

If you are interested in Community Supported Agriculture in your area then check out this site: http://www.localharvest.org/csa/

An interesting point - in Colorado we have 54 resources for CSAs, in Lousiana there are only 4! Note, I grew up in Louisiana thats why I was interested, so the good news is the market is open in Louisiana and I think there would be a large market!
