When I was a small child, my dad took my family and travelled around Malaysia, from small villages, town, cities, beaches and to the Peninsulas & Borneo islands. Lots of zoo & aquarium visitings hence the birth of my animal loving nature, snorkelling, island hopping, swimming pool fights with my elder brother, night markets, temples, caves, botanical gardens and some city exploration. This sums up my holiday destinations tends to swings more towards nature side of the world rather than concrete jungles. Of course, it does not mean I dislike the cities of skycrappers but if I have to bias, I would definitely go back for more lush greenery, sea and sun. Being cooped up in the office has took away most of my time away from home, outdoor activities and friends. It has been years since my last adventurous trip overseas, hence, this Bali trip certainly revitalised me, even though I did brought back some trouble myself for me to ponder over and over again...
If i were to sum up all the places I been (definitely lesser to many people that I know in my circle):
Malaysia
- Kuala Lumpur (though there are still so many places I have yet to been!)
- Malacca (it's been close 10+ years since I'm there...)
- Penang
- Ipoh
- Terengganu (All i remember was a huge lake and resort in a jungle)
- Kuantan (includes Cherating if i'm not mistaken)
- Johor Bahru (the state is big and I been to just a few parts of it, however, too young to remember then name)
- Negeri Sembilan (remembering the Minangkabau houses)
- Pahang
- Port Dickson (how awfully dirty it is now i believe)
- Pulau Redang, Kapas, Perhentian, Tioman, Kapas, Pangkor, Langkawi, Ketam, Labuan, Sipadan
- Kuching: Sarawak
- Sandakan, Kota Kinabalu : Sabah
Singapore (totally been back there indeed)
Thailand
- Hatyai
- Phuket
- Bangkok
- Chiang Mai
Vietnam
- Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City
Indonesia
- Bali (Various places in Bali! #Imissbali)
My list of places to go:
- Thai beaches & island (That most likely covers Krabi, Phi Phi Island, Koh Li Pe, Koh Samui & the Trang Islands)
- Boracay, Phillipines
- Maldives
- Taiwan (because is a favourite among lots of my friends)
- Hong Kong
- Macau
- Kyoto, Japan
There are PLENTY of other oversea places in my list but I shall leave it until maybe 10 years later :)
