Gingerbread Houses 2008
Here is our tradition of making gingerbread houses! The kids LOVED it! Raylie and Logan each got a side of the roof to put M & M's on....Logan did a great job! Raylie only put the RED ones on because she loves RED. She would put one on and then swipe the frosting off with a little fast finger! We had a fun time but were missing dad because he was home study for finals!
Raylie had a little too much SUGAR! Well I guess Raylie and Sharise had a little TOO MUCH sugar!!

BOYS!!!
What does a 15 POUND bag of potatoes and two four year old boys = TROUBLE!
I just bought a new bag of potatoes yesterday. Logan and his friend were outside playing for a little while and come inside and say, "Hey mom we ate all the potatoes, but two!" I didn't think much, thought they were pretending to eat potatoes...but they said it again even more excited. So I went to the garage and find my potato bag EMPTY...but the two! I said, "What did you do with the potatoes?!" Nothing...so I repeat myself about three times and they take me to the back yard and nothing. I don't see any potatoes. So I ask again, "What did you guys do with the potatoes?!" Finally they point to the brick wall. I climb up and look over the wall into our neighbors yard and there is my 15 pounds of POTATOES all over there yard! So I get the boys and we walk to our neighbors and ask permission to pick up the potatoes from their yard! I made the boys pick them up by themselves!
Luckily I had already taken some out for dinner or the friend would have been sent home and Logan would have been in big trouble!!! Boys, Boys, Boys!!!!!

Thanksgiving
We went to Salt Lake for Thanksgiving this year! It was great! We were able to spend time with the whole family, except of course our Elder. We ate at Grandma H's house, this was her last year to cook and I am going to miss it! We then went to my aunt and uncles house and had more pie! It was great to spend time with family!
Before eating turkey Josh and the kids went outside to look at Grandpas greenhouse. We were able to bring home some cabbage and sweet potatoes! Grandpa has a great green thumb. The middle picture proves that Logan and Raylie really do LOVE each other! I just have to look at that picture to remind me!
After eating a great turkey dinner we had a little time to work off all of those calories by arm wrestling! I found out that right handed Danette and I are equally STRONG! We all found out that our mom can kill all of us in arm wrestling...and not to mess with Aunt Kathy (moms sister) who whomped mom! I hope I can be that strong when I grow up!!!
Just some random faces relaxing after eating turkey and the arm wrestling mania!
On our way home we stopped at the Apple Farm and saw this tractor. The kids wanted to climb on it so we took a picture!

I was going to put up our pumpkin pictures but picasa isn't on the laptop anymore...and I don't feel like downloading it right now...so maybe later. But here are the cute kids! Raylies hair was curled a little bit more but her hair DOESN'T hold curl. I'm not quite sure what she is doing in the picture..I think I snapped right before she ran off! I hope everyone had a great Halloween! I CAN'T wait for Thanksgiving!!

Raylies TWO!
I can't believe my cute little girl is TWO! She is so fun! Her personality is so great! She is my favorite little girl! I love her smile, her big green/brown eyes, her cute little voice, the way she says in the morning when she is ready to get out of bed, "Mommy I'm DONE!" I can't wait to see what this next year has in store for us! Happy Birthday Raylie! WE LOVE YOU!
Raylie got a lot of fun toys for her birthday. She was so excited everytime she opened a new one!
Raylie wasn't quite sure how to blow out the candles to I had to help her a little. If you can't tell it is a Cinderella cake!

Discover Museum at the Gateway
This weekend we went to Salt Lake because my older sis Mrs D teaches preschool and she was able to get into the museum for $3.25 per child and adults were FREE, we couldn't pass the deal up! Then on Saturday we went and watch little J play football in the rain and wind! I wouldn't just do that for anyone! He is great player! Thanks to Chantel for watching all the kiddos. Then this morning the two little girls were having fun playing. Beauty school starts at a young age now a days! It was a great little trip! Thanks for letting us stay at your house!
Cute kids
Raylie gathered her shopping cart, stroller and baby and decided to make a little home in front of the kitchen sink! We took and picture of her and so Logan said he wanted a picture of him so he ran to the couch and struck a pose! In the last picture Logan was wiping the fog off of the mirrors after his shower! Ofcourse he had already wrote him name right in the middle!
Time for a trim!

Pretty Raylie
Raylie's friend Holdyn must have told her how FUN it is to put mascara on by themselves because Raylie tried it on her own tonight! She is such a silly girl! Her vocabulary has grown so much in the past couple weeks. The bigger picture is what she did after I showed her how to smile! What a cute little girl! We love you Pretty Raylie!

They made it through....
Well for those of you that don't know, my lil sister and her family made it through IKE without any major structural damage! Danette has put a post on her blog about the night that IKE hit Houston. She lives just outside of Houston so they got hit pretty good. Her in-laws had more than four trees get up rooted and one landed on their barn, luckily their horse trailer wasn't inside! At Chad's office they wet- vacced 20 gallons of water from the carpet and had to pull it out.
We are so grateful that they are all safe . Now they can say they made it through IKE...and in a way we have made it through too. It is tough having family that close to disater! We love you guys! Now, hopefully their power will be on before 4 weeks like the officials are saying. Pray for power! You can read her post by clicking on the McLane link!

Clean Fish
Well unfortunately I didn't get a picture of this, but on Monday Raylie decided the fish needed a bath, I guess! She took a bar of Ivory soap and put it in the fish tank! I don't know how long it was in there, but when I walked past and noticed the fish tank was all CLOUDY and WHITE CHUNKS floating around! I looked further and saw the BAR OF SOAP floating on top. I immediately ran and told Josh so that we could HURRAY and get all four fish out of the soapy tank. It took about 45 minutes to get fish out, wash the rocks and tank out! It has been two days since their soapy bath and all seems to be well. All four still alive! But now if my WHITE goldfish dies I won't know what it was from. She spoiled my controlled experiment :)
She is such a cutie I couldn't be mad. And this isn't the first thing she has stuck in the tank. I caught here a couple months ago shoving her blanket in there! What a handful!

Raylies Water Fountain
The other day after a huge rain storm Raylie and I went outside and she found a new way to quench her thirst! She has been imitating dogs lately so I guess this is why she did this. (The water was pouring out on the rain gutter).

My oh my!
So what happens when you put bread dough in your warm...HOT garage at 7:oo p.m. to rise quickly, so you can make bread and then forget about it until 3:00 p.m. the next day?! Well lets just say it is no longer able to be used to make a delicious loaf of fresh white bread! My oh my where was my mind?

Finally!!!
So I am finally getting around to posting pictures from our 24th of July vacation! We went up to SLC to spend time with family. Here is pictures of our BBQ at Grandma and Grandpa Great! There were about 50 of us there! It was so nice to see family that we haven't seen for awhile!
Then on the 25th we went to see President and Sister Hinckleys gravesites, tour the Conference Center and then rode the trax to the Gateway Shopping center. What a fun time! The Conference Center is so beautiful! The view from the top is breathtaking! At The Gateway the kids (except Raylie and Ellie) loved playing on the splash pad!
Then on Saturday before we left Grandpa H (who has an amazing nack for growing ANYTHING) had some potatoes that needed picking. So we got our little man to go out and pick them! He loved it! What a fun memory for him to have! Logan was so proud of the ones he picked!

I miss my boy!
Josh and Logan went to Las Vegas yesterday to spend time with Josh's family and pick up Danette, Sharise and the kids up from the airport. Friday morning before they left I heard Logan in his room talking, so I went into see who he was talking to. I heard him say, "it's okay alligator, me and monkey are only going to be gone one night, you'll be okay. sleep good." Then later that afternoon I went to his room to put toys away and found his alligator like this! He is so funny! I miss him and can't wait to see him tonight!

Trip up north!
So this past week the kids and my mom went to Murray to visit my sister and grandparents. It was a lot of fun. On Wednesday we went to Heritage park, This is the Place Monument. We rode the train around the little village, Logan rode a pony and we visited the little petting zoo. Friday we went to my cousins swimming pool (which I only got video not pictures) then we went to a fun park in West Jordan. It has a lot of little houses and building that the kids can play in. Again, I only got video tape! That's what I get for not bringing Josh! He had to stay home for school :(.
My mom's blog and Desirae's will have more pictures so check them out.
Here is a cute video of Raylie at the petting zoo.
She was saying, "Here sheep, sheep, sheep
and hi doat (goat)!"

Main St. Water Park
Today we went to the Main Street Water Park in St.George. There was Lauren and Nelyana, Alyshia and Gracie and me and my squirts. Lauren, Alyshia, and I grew up together in good ol' Leeds! So it is always fun getting together with our kiddos! All the kids loved it! I noticed I didn't get a picture of Logan because he was all over the place. But these little girls loved each others company! We were missing Shannon and LJ!
In about 15 years look out boys here come a bunch of HEARTBREAKERS!!
