1st June

Firstly, Happy Birthday!! to my Mama and sis who happen to share the same birthday.. :P

Next, on the updates.......

We are finally more or less settled aft moving in to our new place..

house moving is scarily tiring esp when i had some loose ends to tie.. :P my piano was damaged during the moving.. follow-up-ed with threats, police and CASE reports.. hahaha... pretty eventful.. but glad that we finally closed the case aft much hoohaa... :P

We had a great family trip with Yingyi and family in April... went to Desaru.. the drive to and fro is tiring coz the new expressway is not ready... and there's some construction going on the roads... so traffic was terrible... :P the trip is relaxing and fun... the kids had fun playing together.. PH enjoyed playing with Zofie so much that he kept talking abt Zofie 妹妹 even after we were back home..

the kids updates:

PH is learning well now.. :) initially we were worried as he still can't spell after 2 terms of spelling.. but he seems to be improving.. although he still can't spell very well, he's starting to recognise the alphabets and their sound.. :) leapfrog proves to be very effective in phonics... :) his 听写 is as usual.. i have higher expectation as he usually get all correct.. :) speech wise, his mandarin is as usual.. speaking more in english too... :)

PY is "talking" more now... still babblering her baby language most of the time... but at least she can call papa mama now... her words are mainly food related... such as 吃，mom mom (eat), nei nei (milk), blu blu (pacifier), 洗(washing hand) etc... her all time fav is "不要!!"... quite a stubborn gal with an attitude.. :P but she's also our "foreign minister"... :P she will eagerly say hi to kids and babies... warm up much faster than PH and always ready to give a smile (although she looks grouchy most of the time) :) gd bye usually takes a gd few minutes as she makes sure she hug and kiss gdbye... waving gdbye takes even longer as she will wave gdbye, walk away, walk back, wave gdbye again, walk away... and repeat repeat repeat...... until she is happy... :P

We are married for 5 years...

when i was still slim n pretty.........

now, fat fat liao... hahaha... :P

Two Birthdays!!

Oct is always a happy month for me... since last year, Oct is double celebration to the family since both PY and I are Oct babies... :P

for mine, hb n i had a gd steamboat lunch at Imperial Treasure... it's the most yummy (and most expensive) steamboat i hav ever had... :D had yummy tiramisu cake and 1pod touch as a gift... :)





for PY, we decided to go to Pearl River Palace for a dim sum buffet with the family.. ordered a carrot cake fr Room for Dessert as her birthday cake.. i thot it's quite nice... but dun think many share the same taste as me.. :P











updates for both kids:
both hav been taking turn in falling sick.. it first started with PY having stomach flu, den PH starts coughing n developed croup... now, PY's turn as she starts having phelmy throat... hai...

PY can walk a few steps unassisted already... it's quite cute watching her walk... she will clap whenever she stands up... then she will start walking n get so excited tt she lost her balance... :P

PH is finally learning better... initially, we were quite worried if he had problem learning... but seems like it's due to him being a year end baby tt's y his progress is slower than his peers who are born in the earlier part of the year....

time to pick up writing again...

it has been long since i last updated... was giving up on blogging as was really too drained to do so... however, a fren has been 'nagging' me to continue writing... n so here i am... hahahaha... :P i shall try to update at least once a mth.. :)

sept has been a wonderful mth.. the family planned for a self drived trip to perth... :) my parents went with us and it was a really great help to us... can't imagining navigating while looking aft the kids if they were not with us.. :P

it was quite a fulfilling trip as it's the first time i organised a self drive trip.. intially, was still quite worried tt we may lost our way... but luckily with GPS, we were able to find all the places tt i planned to visit.. :)

we spent 4 nights at perth and drive south to Margaret river for 2 nights farmstay.. :) perth was kinda boring as it's juz city-like like singapore.. shopping is boring as things are way more ex than in s'pore... esp when i can shop online during promo... :P but caversham park is nice.. :) the animals exhibits are the usual Aussie's animals... however, they hav very interesting farm show which the whole family enjoyed... :)

Margaret river is the highlight of the tour.. we all love the countryside feel... our unit face the sheep barn... so every morning, we wake up to the meh meh sound... :P every morning, PH will hav his pony rides and animal feeding.. we even tried egg picking.. :) shd hav stayed there longer... :) it's definitely worth visiting again when the kids are older.. :)

updates on the kids:

sibling rivarly is showing.. esp on the younger one.. once she sees her papa carrying gor gor, she will crawl at lightning speed to her papa's leg n hug it.... @_@ PH has oso started to complain lots on y he's always alone (which is not true).....

the gal is finally looking more girlish... BUT, definitely still not behaving like one..... loves sitting in very un-lady manner.... hai... n her new trick...

PY's sensitive airway...

PY has been diagnosed with sinuses.. the poor gal is always snorting... and we still thought tt it was cute b4 we know it's sinuses... both me n hubby has sensitive nose.. PH has sensitive airway n sensitive skin.. seems like she got it the worst... hai...

we purchased dustmite vacuum cleaner n air purifier for her... been hardworking vacuuming her bed once a wk... and we on the air purifier for her everynight... but not helping much...

brought her to pd... but the stubborn gal refused to take medication... medicine time is always a struggle... she will cry n cry n cry until all the medicine which i fed will be vomitted out... hai..

recently, we decided to let both kids try out TCM.. we hav one sinseh in the neighbourhood which is very well recommended by many of my friends.. so we decided to try it out.. currently is only the first wk... hope we will be able to see some result soon... :)

back working.. :)

finally aft some struggle, i'm back at work again... was thinking of taking no pay leave initially to take care of the gal.. coz i was really sim tia to put her in infantcare so young... but then, the more 理智 part of me told myself tt it's going to be the same if i'm juz taking a few more mths... 长痛不如短痛... i shd put her in when she still haven't develop stranger anxiety... and indeed, the gal is now super adjusted to her infantcare days... :)

PH juz recovered fr his chicken pox... but developed a cough on the way... so still nursing his health back.. was told tt he needs to be on flexotide puffs for one mth.. PD said tt it's like taking 补品.. previously, we stop giving him puffs the moment he stops coughing... will be trying pd's method... n hopefully the boy will cough less often....

was re-reading a fren's blog last wk... n wondered if my boy is a highly-sensitive child... he's very sensitive to adults' emotions and his chinese vocab is very gd (coz we always speak mandarin to him).. it's very difficult to discipline him and he's always whiny... thinking of getting the book to read... if he's really highly sensitive, i will hav to change the way to discipline him liao...

it has been long...

It's a long time since i last updated my blog.. changed my comp as my laptop died on me.. there's no photo softwares installed.. so i can't downsize the photos and i dun wish to spend time uploading large files.. so no photos...

PH is currently in the new childcare center.. so far, he doing fine.. certain days he cries like there's no tomorrow.. but there are oso days when he will walk in without crying..

PY has juz started her infantcare too.. she's in the same sch as PH.. but different room.. she's seems pretty okie..fussing abit.. but adapting better than PH...

as for me, i'm enjoying my last 2 wks of maternity leave.. will be going back to work soon.. although i'm happy tt i can interact with my colleagues again, i'm also very worried if i will be able to cope well handling 2 kids...

things happened in the past mth made me decide tt i shd take up more responsibilities for my kids instead of heavily relying on our parents n expecting their unconditional helps to us..

i shall try my very best to provide the best i can for my family.. hubby, pls be tolerant to me if i shd fall into the blue zone okie?
