Catch up...

Ok heads up, this post is going to be an overload so here it goes.  Little miss D is 6 months and I am totally and completely blown away by how fast the time has gone by.  I know that may be a cliche thing to say as a mother but that is just how it is.  I would just love for the days to be longer so I can make sure to soak up every second with Daphne and our little family of three.  Since I have been awful at this whole blogging thing I am going document a quick summary of each month since August.

August

We go to a Doobie Brothers'/Boston concert, celebrate a birthday and eagerly wait for baby's arrival (at the time we didn't know if we were having a boy or girl!)

^^
yes, I did third wheel it with my mom and dad to a Doobie Brothers' concert, not ashamed.

^^
Jess was there on a date but came over and we took a shameless Doobie shelfie

^^
for my birthday we went to a free climbing competition in park city with my family

^^
we packed up for the hospital and met the girl of our dreams little Daphne Elizabeth (those lips though)

Let me also mention how unprepared I was for the hospital, live and learn, right?  Let's just say that it took me a good day to brush through my knotted crazy hair because I forgot a hair brush.

^^
we went to Bear Lake (Daphne's first official trip) for Labor Day and went on the most beautiful hike on Grandpa Fred's birthday

September

We celebrate my mom's 50th birthday with a killer surprise party.

^^
Surprise! Mom was so surprised it was fun to have everyone there and even better my Grandma and aunts and uncle flew in from California

^^
Daphne goes to her first movie Guardians of the Galaxy, of course she loves it

^^
Daphne and her Gigi

^^
Daphne goes through her old man stage

October

One of my favorite months was made ten thousand times better with Daphne, why is dressing up a baby so fun?!

^^
is that not the cutest ET you ever did see?

^^
one of my favorites

Ok I won't post anymore ladybug pictures, I just can't help myself!

November

^^
we enjoyed the fall weather and went on some fabulous walks

^^
we got our first photographed smiles, she really made us work for these.  And then the bottom 2 are just typical D faces, serious and sleeping.

^^
I went back to work, just part time and so did Daphne....ok so we didn't make her work but this picture is just too funny

^^
D enjoying her first thanksgiving with Papa

^^
my first successful pie.  I don't usually like to toot my own horn but it was caramel apple and it was amazing

^^
Thanksgiving was also Isaac's birthday! We celebrated with his favorite mint chocolate cake

^^
my favorite goofballs

Thank goodness for this wonderful family of mine, having a baby has been the hardest yet best thing that has happened to Isaac and I and we couldn't be happier.
