Nice Poem

A nice sweet poem from someone far away, I know how much I have been missed and cherish.

i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear;and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)

 i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)
i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

Important/Special

Heard this over FM some time ago, never took it to heart then.

"Important is someone whom you can't live without;
Special is someone you will never forget"

Today this statement kept coming into my mind, guess it's trying to remind me over and over again. You are just ''Special"

How I wish I could be both important & special.....

Time is love

Time is love................Every moment last forever.

If you know and are only allowed to be with a person just for a short time, will you still choose to love and be with him?

My answer is yes, if the person is worth all your love. Love is no boundaries. Even for a short period I know you are worth every effort we have put in.

You have let me know what is love, it's not just about companionship. It's how we being appreciated and respect as an individual,  learn from each other and enjoying every moment together.

Now I can only walk with time, letting our love be buried deep down inside my heart.
Maybe someday we will see each other again... in heaven or on earth, my love will be with you always.

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres." 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Bonding time at Malacca - Day 2

More swim after breakfast, that's the only entertainment we had at this hulu condo. Greeting from pigeons every morning, lots & lots of them : )

Visiting the tourist site, Sam Po Temple.

The famous Sam Po

Was quite a long walk from SamPo Temple to the red house.. under the hot sun... ""( hot hot.. We came across a wet market, a stall selling fresh grated coconut. We could hardly find in Singapore. And amazing, we also found something we had during childhood. A kind of apple like thing inside matured coconut, I 'm not sure what's the name but it's something nice to eat : ) We often fight over this apple thingy whenever my mum opened up a coconut : D
Unknown name inside coconut, we used to have it during childhood.

Finally the red house, and famous Christ Church Melaka : )

Food food and more food... that what we did in Malacca. Was recommended to this restaurant by our driver. It's at Portuguese village, the Sea Terrace. Nice food and reasonable price.

Rojak
Portuguese BBQ chilly fish
Sambal Sotong
Grilled Lala
Grilled clams
Deep fried wings
Cozy walk along the jetty at Portuguese Village, night still young :  ) we get a Tian Deng (big Lantern) scribble some blessing words on it & let it fly off to the sky.

More more blessing : )
Ready... look sis was so excited : D

Then dang dang !!!.. surprised! it blew up again n fly off the coast... yippy up up &  up it goes. We could hear cheers from some ppl round us : D

Up up & away
Ended our night with a good blessing and hoping for a beautiful dream : )

Bonding time at Malacca - Day 1 Part II

Jonker Walk, not to be missed. Only open on Friday & Weekends night. A busy street with lots of food and  good place for bargain stuffs. It's a long narrow five hundred meter street. There's some influence during the Dutch period in Malacca, used be known as rich men's street when they do business with the rich Babas & Nonyas. And ofcoz my fave Chandol : p

Mum's fave, kuih Bahulu
Nyonya restaurant along Jonker Walk
Early dinner before it get crowded.
Lot of varieties, from Char Kway Teoh, omelette eggs, satay ...etc etc... it's going to be a ''sinful'' dinner : D Need to share some of the calories.
Why do we have to drink coconut in Malaysia or tropical county? I really don't understand.. hahaha probably is the hot weather, and coconut juices is more cooling.
1, 2 , 3 ... coconut drinks.

Karoke competition on stage : )
My little nephew insisted on taking photo for me. Good job : D

Found a smelly tofu stall, it's stink!!! But mum wanted to try some, so we had a share. Sis threw out immediately, and little nephew kept his nose closed until we finished the dish. He don't allowed us to pack some back to apartment : D hilarious.
Smelly stinky tofu
Ended the street walk with a big big pineapple tarts... : p
The giant pineapple tarts
Back to the lonely, deserted condo.... zzzz...

Bonding time at Malacca - day 1

An annual affair, family bonding time especially during school holidays. Letting the kids have some fun & enjoy their holidays.

Malacca, I have been here few times. It's about 3hrs drive from Singapore, not too far and nice place to explore good food : ) Since this time round I'm not the organizer hahaha...great time to seat back and relax, let the lead organizer do her work.

Sis booked a Condo/Apartment for 8 of us, with 3bedrooms and kitchen facilities. Sound great,... err.. there's always a "BUT" some where : D Land transport was also arranged (SIN-Malacca- SIN) a MPV pick up door to door, at S$80/pax include 1 lunch on last day. Very thoughtful isn't it....again...but.... tell more later : D

We were all looking forward to the trip, kids were delighted : )

Pick up at 8.30am, and off we go. Traffic was smooth, a little jammed at Woodlands Customs but was ok. Nice MPV, comfortable for 8pax (6 adults + 2 kids).
Yippy! Melaka here we come!
Driver was kind to alight us for bkf at Johore. Some food shld not be missed when in Malaysia. : ) Start our 1st meal with Char Kway Teow, Chu Cheong fun, leong tao fu. Yummy + sinful bkf : D

Saw a small stall selling my fave glutinous rice Ham Chim Peng, guess I can only find it in Malaysia. Well, this is not those standard kind of Ham Chim Peng we have in SNG. At least I have not found any stall selling this  yet in SNG. And the You Tiao is also with different favor, interesting isn't it? : )

My fave Ham chim peng with glutinous rice & a herbal you tiao : p
Aiyo...so many hands trying to adjust the seat : D
Arrived in Malacca, 2nd stop over for lunch at a local Chinese restaurant before check in to apartment. Nice & yummy Bak Tuk Teh, not very authenic tho, but was good enough.

All the meaty stuff, good soup borth with tender meat.
The Vinegar pork, not too fantastic. Prefer my mum's version.
Start of our "nightmare"..Driver couldn't find our apartment, we have to call the owner to locate the place...and here goes the agony....:D

The Apartment was not near to town, about 15mins drive away from town.. Sad.. and the place was rather run down. Luckily the rooms and facilities were acceptable. No shopping malls, shop or cafe around.. Oh no.. how are we going to settle our meals & shopping? The "fortunate" thing we have here was a pity little 7eleven stall : D

We almost refused to check in, but due to holidays; all other hotels were fully booked so left us with no choice but to stay on. : ( Luckily the swimming pool was acceptable, and clean enough for the kids to enjoy.

1st task of the day ; ) swim! Followed by a dinner at Jonker walk. Local transport was arranged separately from Apartment-Jonker walk-Apartment, at RM50 at least this was reasonable : )
Trying to carry nephew up..he's really heavy : D
Happy Family trip : )
