The man whom I called "Father" for the past 6 years ...
He had left us ... peacefully on Friday night. We didn't get to see him breathe his last but was told he left without pain or struggle. As much as I wasn't extremely close to him, I did feel the aching heartpain when I saw him lying there motionlessly. This is the man who raised my beloved hubby, who doted on my kids unconditionally & treated me like his own daughter.
These 2 months had been a painful one for himself and the family. It hurts us to see him waste away and nothing could be done. Many thoughts ran thru from the day we knew he was sick till he passed on. Happiness that he could eat & felt better, guilt for not letting the kids spend more time with him in the past, for not doing enough for him when he was sick, sadness when seeing him in a sickly state, relieve that he's finally free of pain and sufferings ...
爸,走好了。

I got my hair permed!
The hair loss problem will be in soon. I feel the need to do something to make my locks look more "volumed". :)

Reynee is here!
17th Feb 2012 8am
Felt some discomfort at upper abdominal area, had diarrhea. I was guessing it probably had to do with the buffet feast at Buffet Town the day before.
17th Feb 2012 11am
The diarrhea stopped but the discomfort didn't go away. It escalated into cramps, with fixed intervals. This doesn't sound too right. Mum and Char got anxious and "chased" me to the hospital.
17th Feb 2012 12pm
Reached KKH and was strapped onto the machine to monitor for contractions and indeed I was having them. Kent was on his way there. At the back of my mind, I was wondering if they would discharge me to wait at home as my c-sect was planned to be next week. I wasn't at all ready!
17th Feb 2012 1pm
Kent was there. No chance of going home as they contacted Prof Tee and was told to send me to delivery ward.
17th Feb 2012 4.30pm
I was in the delivery ward for 3+ hrs monitoring my contractions, on drip, inhaling gas to relieve the pain, removing nail polish and whatever preparation work they needed to do to get ready for the c-sect op while waiting for Prof Tee to appear.
And finally he gave the instructions to send me over to the OT. However Kent can't go in with me as it's an emergency c-sect.
17th Feb 2012 5pm
The clock showed 5pm ... I was on the operating table all numb from chest down, seeing the hospital staffs getting busy around me, caught a glimpse of Prof Tee and I was feeling drowsy.
17th Feb 2012 5.12pm
I heard a baby's cries and it struck me that Reynee is out! That was fast. :)
17th Feb 2012 7pm
I was sent to my ward/bed after in the waiting area for an hr. I finally see my babies! Yes, I meant Reyden and Reyes. I missed them so much! Next to be in my sight was Reynee, my new baby!
The rest we shall update as the days go by with our new bundle of joy ...

Running out of time ...
I was still complaining of MS, tiredness and uncomfort just months ago and now we are only left with another 3 weeks before Reynee arrives!
The family (especially the kids) are getting all excited for the big day. I'm seriously running out of time to get stuff ready. The recent checkup got me all stressed up with Reynee weighing close to 3kg and engaged at 35 weeks. I'm praying hard that she will stay in till our planned c-sect date at 38 weeks.
