More rare than a gem
well.. tt sorta describe my presence here.. haha.. been quite long le.. n guess my weekends are getting more n more busy.. wad wif e frequent dota, sumtimes even overnite, n now wif e WC. oh well.. Juz 2 note tt i'm now a Spec trainee in Nee Soon camp (yes, i'm no longer stuck in tt prison called tekong n tt's been 4 nearly 4 mths alr). training 2 be medic serg. n yesh u heard me rite.. i'm trainging 2 be a GHAY medic.. lolx. tt was my initial rxn when i heard i was posted there aft bslc too. "its slack n all" was wad some o my platoon mates told me.. yar.. but where's e prestige in tt? n serg hui wen was like "its all random larz.. nth 2 do wif ur sexual preference". sigh.. y me?! esp when i came e realise tt my course onli gt a freaking 11ppl!! y oh-so-lucky-me?!?! worse still.. as e days passed i gt 2 realise e amt of studying tt's 2 be done.. FREAKING alot!! n cant sleep during those boring lectures, of which 2 modules consist of BIO!! but still Lima Lima Sierra Tango.. n so aft like 5wks liaoz i've come 2 "ambrace" it.. lolx.. getting too slacked tt doing "transportation o casualty" last week completely shagged e weako me out. but somewhere along e hierachy o instructors.. they've decided tt e WC final is too big an even 4 em 2 miss.. so... my 4 days o medical center attachment is 2 be started tis wed ending next mon, of which everyday is 8-5.. so ALAS!! i get 2 watch e world cup final!!
which brings me on.. e world cup. e joy on realising tt i get 2 watch e final last fri was shortlived. Juz 3 days on n holland were out. wun get 2 feature in e most glorious of all sporting event. sigh.. guess they played realli badly against portugal(tts coming frm aft e reviews in e newspapers). n its nt as if we were able 2 perform in e grp stage. e oranje v coste'd match which i caught had me sitting on e edge o my seat as we sat back n tried e repel waves after waves o ivory coast's attk. sigh.. then spain went out too.. 2 those dinos tt i nvr held respect 4 (blame it on arsenal.. i juz dun like em).. means 2 outta 4 o e teams tt i placed 4 semis position are out. left germany n brazil. germany are realli "up!" they're playing better than last WC.. n klose's still at e top of his game.. pity the performance last nite wasnt tt good.. else i think e scoreline wld have been more imba towards germany. who ask e argens 2 turn towards a defensive play juz after scoring 1. when crespo n riquelme came off.. me n jk were like.. "argen gt play liddat de mehz? where their attk spirit?" it was gd 2 see germany pouring players into e blue halfs aft tt. guess they're still e team o e moment now.. n maybe.. juz maybe.. we'll get e see a replay o last WC final in berlin. juz maybe.
