Vice-President Veronica Ditko talks about her book, “A Rock Solid History of Hawthorne, New Jersey”

Our new Chapter Vice-President Veronica Ditko talks about her book, “A Rock Solid History of Hawthorne, New Jersey,” on Hawthorne Towncast!

New Podcast!

for Hawthorne History month

I’m thrilled to announce I am on a new podcast by the Hawthorne Towncast.

If you’ve never listened, host Flavio Romeo is a funny and lively guy and we talk about my book, “A Rock Solid History of Hawthorne, New Jersey,” finding history near you and the clues to get you there! I am also joined by my friend Dr. Stephanie Silvera, a renowned epidemiologist.

He is calling January Hawthorne History month, and there are a few more podcasts to consider too. Have a listen this weekend and enjoy!

MARCH MEETING CANCELED

Unfortunately, we must cancel our March 20, 2020 meeting due to the mandatory closure of our meeting place, Mulberry House Senior Center.  Mulberry House has advised us that due to COVID-19, they have been directed to close for the remainder of the month and other meetings/events are not to be held at the center this month.  We are keeping a close eye on how things are progressing with the virus and an update regarding the April 24-26 NYSAA meeting is forthcoming.  Please note that at this time the conference is still on, and we will not be holding a regular meeting at Mulberry House in April. Thank you, everyone, for all of your patience and devotion!

Stephanie Benson, President
