Ages since i last blogged..my elbow's getting better (a lot better, in fact)...at least I get to do what I do normally (with a few exceptions, of course)

Anyway, feel the urge to blog cos August is coming..This will be an exciting month for me with lots of stuffs coming up..

Firstly, August marks the end of my 3 years service with ST because its time I move on and join the society as a full time worker..so this is probably the last time I am blogging from SPH..cos its my last day at work..oh well, nothing is forever. But I am so glad that I had a enjoyable 3 years here with my department..and they are really the ones who taught me many stuffs that I never learn elsewhere..

Secondly, will be off to Bangkok + Hua Hin on Fri (again) to make full use of the extra ticket that was not used after playing Jane in Chiangmai. I can't wait to be there..The shopping, the food and the beach and most importantly, some time to be alone with him..:)

Will try to post photos (yes, I will try..) but blogger's system of posting photos just ain't that convenient compared to facebook...maybe will try to put a link here to my albums in facebook.

Thirdly, I'll be starting work soon, on 11 Aug. Thats when the rest in NUS starts school too. Wish I was still there. Somehow studying started to seem more appealing. However, I do look forward to work as well cos its like entering another phase of my life. :)

Fourthly, It will be a period of meeting up with lots of people. There will be shimei's bdae where I'll get to see lots of old TXYs and there's also a dinner + AQH gathering for Yiquan and the usual game before he goes back to Beijing. There will also be another steamboat gathering with the TXYs that I havent seen for ages. :) Cool!

Lastly, there is a exciting project coming up in late August. Details will only be revealed in Sep after the event. :D :D Can't wait.

oh well..blog's dead for a long long time...haha..too busy trying to enjoy my last few moments of hall..

anyway, wanted to do a really good coverage of my YEP trip..but I'm back after like 1 week out of the 3 weeks that I'm gonna spend in thailand..

flew back last tues cos some accident happened in chiangmai..

in case if anyone wants to know...i broke my radial head and had to do a replacement...now i have a big fat bandaged arm...

will try to blog more since I'll be home most of the time...but my typing speed is damn slow now...aiya..see how larhz....:)

My last Swimming IHG for the hall is finally over..volleyball coming up soon also..well, guess there will be a lot of "last time" for the next few months..like last pink and blue, last command (which I will be commanding..) and last nite cycling..well, time really flies..its been close to 3 years since I came into NUS. Graduating soon...

Anyway, have been pretty slack since the start of the sem..been going out a lot and shopping for new year stuffs la...I think I spent the most the year..but got really pretty and decent stuffs..so yup..quite happy la..

Talked to aileen yesterday and our topic was on boyfriends being less senstive at times because they generally think very differently from us..(thats why a lot of pple say that guys and gals come from different planets..)..and she showed me this.....

I am back after a long time. Still surviving..yeah. I kinda spent the majority of hols watching dramas..managed to watch 3 different dramas. Think this is considered quite little for those hardcore drama fans.

Well, its finally the last semester. I should start worrying about who's gonna be my next employer mans. But I just realised that its damn difficult to find a job these days. Not difficult as in no jobs, but not the ones I'm looking for. Also, some of the job description sound rather scary cos it seems that you need to know a lot of things..arghs..I kinda sent out a couple of applications last week but have yet to hear from them. I guess my chances are not really high...Anyway, trying to send out more this week since I am not that busy with school work yet..will see how it goes la..

Oh, I think CORS is pretty screwed up this sem..It seems that a lot of people did not managed to get their modules..well, at least for those around me...well, I guess I am quite lucky to get most of my modules except forensic science..Quite pissed..cos its my last sem and I am finally able to take it cos I have no clashes in timetable..but this time round, I have insufficient pts..sians..

My confirmed modules this sem are:

IT1004: Introduction to E-Commerce (Bidding for Tutorial 6)
GE3226: Tourism Development (Bidding for DE4)
GE3239: Environmental Sustainability (Bidding for Do4, cos Shanny can only take this slot!!)
SC2211: Medical Sociology (Bidding for DE3)
SC2217: Sociology of Tourism (Bidding for D04/DE4)

anyone doing these mods, feel free to join me cos tutorials with friends are quite sians..hahah..especially if the lecturer is sian....

its almost 3 weeks since hols started. more than half of my last hols are gone.

oh well, I've spent this hols doing some useful stuffs, like trainings, working (if not, I'll eat grass when sem starts) and attending some useful courses to prepare myself for the working world. And of course, I've spent a lot of my money, especially on food. Cos there's no hall food (at all) during the hols.. :(

think my life these days are getting so unhealthy..I don't seem to exercise much other than trainings..but then again, volleyball training don't burn too much fat cos you hardly see the players run around much. think the speed is more impt when it comes to this sport. sighs..I really really wanna go run or get my butt down for some serious cardiovascular stuffs at least 2 times a week...

Festive seasons are around the corner and everyone is in the xmas and new year mood..not so much for me..cos I don't really celebrate it...anyways, its been sometime since I last had some new year resolution...cos they usually don't work, this year, I'm gonna trust myself and try make them work..:D

For 2008:
1. TRY to engage in cardio exericeses at 2 (tho 3 would be better) times a week.
2. Find myself a good job, hopefully something that I enjoy / will enjoy doing
3. Save some money next sem for grad trip (be it to Bangkok, if i go for YEP or Taiwan)
4. Graduate with a decent CAP. Hoping for a 3.2. So that an extra word of "Merit" would appear on my Cert
5. Pick a new language (Korean) so that it adds value to my resume
6. Pick up a new sport (Tennis), need some "CCAs" if not, life quite boring.
7. Take up singing classes at Ocean butterflies to improve my singing technique..

But right now, I will enjoy the rest of my hols!! :)
