What I thought would be my last school nationals is over! I didnt expect myself to miss swimming so much... and therefore, i think i will most probably continue swimming in JC! AND I WILL MAKE SURE SHER TEO CONTINUES SWIMMING WITH ME! Haha. Yes. MG did well this year. We won 2nd for both divisions. (: - second to RG... The school nationals itself was great. I had a fun swim during the 800m, of course it came with A SUPER slow timing of 12.28 min. Haha. YES. But i am glad i still won the 6th position. (: Plus, I mananged to catch up with some of my seniors, and some friends that I only see once a year during the school nationals. All these memories that I shared with them makes me wanna continue swimming...for at least 2 more years? OUr swim team dinner at shukudo was yummy! Although the food was really ex, but we just blew anyways because it is really good. We had fun though. I would also like to thank my wonderful extra wonderful juniors, who have brought so much fun and laughter to the whole swim team. I will really miss them alot when i leave MG.. >< It think this is the best school nationals that i ever fun in my 8 years of swimming, with all the crazy cheering...with only barely 10 of us screaming for the medley relay...it was hilarious, but fun! And now i have no voice from all the screaming...Alrights, now putting swimming aside and getting back to reality, midyears is in 4 days and i am sooo dead. MEP practical exam is in 2 days and I cannot say that my pieces are perfect yet. Aiya. Its okay Dora. Just move along. :/

My parents presuaded me to watch the video of Susan Boyle. It was amazing! Once she opened her mouth to sing the first phrase...i was stunned. Really. May the Lord continue to bless her, even as she use this wonderful talent that she has to serve him and to bless him. (: i learnt alot from her video too: never to look down on anyone, and never to judge a book by its cover. Yes, i would recomment ALL to watch it. Its the best video I have ever seen in my life.Okay, yes, and nationals is in 3 days! :( I am just aiming for the finals!

Today is the 3rd and last day of DJW. Personally, the DJW sessions that we had in school was a good time of reflection and worship during this final week of lent. Even though my church does not really observe the season of lent, it is still good to meditate upon the word of God and re-commit my life into his hands. I had new insights on the frogs plague on Eygpt during the time of Moses - on how we should not wait till 'tomorrow', as we will never know what tomorrow may bring. Well, it was saddening to see that some people, because they are not christians, do not appreciate this time that the school has set aside annually. It is unfortunate that they feel this way, but I believe that my God can perform miracles. Yes, anyways. I think my addmath standard is going down the slippery slope. I couldn't do many of the questions that we had for our quiz today. :/ which also means that i have to start practicing more. With nationals around the corner, and midyears in less than a month's time, i have no idea how i am going to pull through this period. But it is a consolation that many of my schoolmates are also involved in the SYF central judging which is in April too. PLUS, I have God with me through it all...and I am not afraid, for the joy of the Lord is my strength. (:

We were playing games under the scroching sun yesterday morning. AYG was, in general, a good time of class bonding, but you can also say that it was also 'bond breaking of the standard'. Some of the games were rough, fierce, and many of the players were agressive. But i took away something from the games yesterday. Although my team was desperate to win, the game can still be played fairly, and at the same time, we can also express our care and concern for our teammates as well as our rivals. After all, we all belong to the same MGS family. No doubt some classes had good players, they were not violent or get upset over small matters. I figured that i have to learn to be more patient, more forgiving, and to take things more lightly when necessary. Overall, I am glad my class had fun together. Although some of us did not leave school yesterday with some cuts and bruises from the many rough matches that we played, we all had a good time of work out and fun. Thank the good Lord for seeing the basketball team into the finals, where we lost to the SBC class. The other 2 sports, floorball and soccer, did well enough to qualify into the semis, but they unfortunatly lost...and there wasnt a play-off for 3rd.
Poor me, I have a blood clot on the big toe of my right foot now, and it hurts when i walk. :(
Today is Palm Sunday - the start of the holy week, and the last Sunday of the season of lent. Yes, I dont really observe this lent thingy, because i cant fast-nationals is coming and i have to study for midyears, so i need the glucose to keep my brain working. (but i wouldn't mind fasting actually.) DJW for the next 3 days at school. It is my prayer that many lives will be touched and saved during this period, and that I will be able to see God moving in the hearts of many students in my last year in MGS. I pray for open hearts of those who havent received Chirst into their lives, but also for the believers who will help their new sisters in Chirst grow. I have FAITH that the DJW this year will be an awesome one!

I have not posted for 3 months, as i have been busy. I just got inspired today by our guest speaker for GEL in school - who shared with us about the pros and cons, the dangers and benfits about blogging. Because I dont have a good habit of journaling about my everyday life, i thought this blog would be a good place to keep track of some of the significant events that happened - so yes, its main purpose is to help me remember stuff!! Tts just over a month before it is time to sit for the dreaded midyear examination. I realised last week that i did not have enough time to finish studying all my sec 3 plus half a year of sec 4 work. Moreover, nationals is in 3 weeks. :/ which means i have even lesser time to study.
Tomorrow is AYG (inter-class sports day for sec 4s). which means my whole morning is burnt. and then in the afternoon i have chinese tuition. WHICH MEANS almost my WHOLE day is burnt. :/
OH YES, and i shouldnt have taken lit elec. Despite preparing for an essay topic...I still scored sooo badly. in conclusion: i cant do lit and my lit sucks to the max. :(
Oh wells...
