new lifestyle. health and beauty.

Ever since I stopped breastfeeding earlier this year, I start to notice visible "spare tyres" around the waist and not-so-firm breasts... And it kinda affects me...

So, after much thoughts, I decided I need to start a healthy lifestyle; to get hubby to go jogging with me, so that I can shake off the extra fats as well as do some body firming exercises after the jog.

And we did that yesterday evening!
It's not easy to plan on a jogging session because we will need to get Ethan to bed first. Turns out that the boy was super tired that he slept by 9pm. So we left after tucking him into bed.

Other than exercising, we (both hubby and myself) are controlling our diet, less rice for dinner.

This is what I aim to do for the health and beauty.

- daily body detoxing drink in the morning (will try to do a full 2 day lemon detox starting tml if possible)
- daily supplement drink (once in the morning)
- daily supplement booster (2 times/day)
- twice/thrice weekly jogging sessions
- use of the 1-2 cycles of "hurricane" on days without jogging
- use of body sculpting cream which I incidentally bought before my #2 pregnancy. Need to finish it up before it expires...
- use of tummy binder
- diligent use of masks (twice/thrice weekly)
- diligent use of bio oil

I hope with this, I can achieve healthier body and better skin, with the tummy and waist fats trimmed off! :)
And I am giving myself 6months to achieve all these goals.

my darlings [Updated]

It's been almost a month since I last posted.
Life has been repetitive and mundane, which is why it doesn't render any need to note it down...

But I thought I will do an entry, as a note to self, on the progress of the kids.

Kaelyn had her vaccination on the very day she turned eight months old. The reason why she got her vaccine late is because the PD went away for conferences and holies, hence the delay. Also, by my mistake, she is doing a 5-in-1 instead of 6-in-1.

For my own record, her weight, height and head circumference:
27-Nov-13: 7086gm, 67cm, 38.5cm
28-Dec-13: 7584gm, 66.5cm, 40cm
22-Jan-14: 7805/7905gm, -, -
3-Mar-14: 8432gm, 74cm, 43cm
16-Apr-14: 9030gm, 74cm, 43cm
25-Jun-14: 9715gm

And she hasn't grown any taller for the past one month!
Something special about this little girl.
She can do splits easily and she does it all the time, especially when she is sleeping.
Her feet can touch her forehead/face without the legs bending.
She gets easily excited and can say "papapa" and "baobaobao" and "mmmmmm" now.
Like her brother, she had her lower central teeth at 4months old BUT now at 8months, her upper lateral incisors came first, instead of the upper central ones.
I am quite concern about the possible teeth alignment issues but ... I read it's not uncommon.

As for my boy, he's behaving more and more like a small adult, occasionally throwing tantrums, especially at me. Probably because he knows I love him lots.

The little man, my love.
The little missy, my pride.
The Man, my love and pride, always! :)

new toys, pending plans, sick boy

I guess I have been too busy with work and the kids (big and small ones) that I am beginning to neglect this little corner of mine.

Today, the son and the man is not in, the missy is asleep, which is probably obvious enough why I am here...

I guess I haven't blogged about this before, a month or two ago, the big man says he wanted to buy me a pressie for V day and gave me a surprise.
He gave me a watch, a crown watch. He chose the design but I like the other one better... so he brought me to the shop and got it traded-in. End up, we paid more than what we were supposed to get it for...
but he told me, as long as I like it... he's cool with paying more. :)

love him to the max.

then few days ago, he told me he wanted to trade in his car for another one. I wasn't too keen so I asked him if we should shelve the plans...
After much consideration and taking account into my opinions/thoughts/feelings, he decided to KIV the plans.

I am really happy he placed me as his priority when making decisions...

I mentioned that the boy is not in today. He's now at my parents' cos he came down with fever, out of the blue, no symptoms, absolutely energetic, on monday morning. He was denied entry to school and left with no choice, we brought him back and I stayed home to look after him. Since I had work to do and couldn't be absent from work again, I sent the boy to my mom's today. He's still having low grade fever so I guess he won't be able to go to school tomorrow and so I left him with my mom.

It's really scary, no matter how many times I've been through it... to see your kids having fever, especially high ones... this time round is the highest I have ever seen, 40.4deg C, coupled with vomitting.. my heart felt so weak. I am glad he's now having low grade fever and is energetic again. Hopefully the fever will go away totally tomorrow, if not, I will have to bring him in to see the doctor again. :(
