thought it will be good to make a note here...
I bathed Kaelyn in the evening today after I brought her to the GP.
She's having some heat rash...
And I thought she is old enough for evening bath, rather than just body wipes.
Seriously can't bring her out without the carrier or pram.. she will wriggle around in your arms, always sliding away...

contradiction
I got a call from Ethan's principal this afternoon and she shared a piece of good news with me.
Ethan has got a place in the centre near our place!
Honestly, this is a piece of news which I don't know if I should feel happy with.
We have been saying we want to fetch Ethan back home by the time he turns three and so this came timely.
Yet, I was informed that he could start class beginning March at the new centre. I am not sure but it seems that this is too short a time for me to digest.
Another thing that I think it's overwhelming me, is that, what was once 50% parenting effort is now going to be 100%.
Truth to be told, I am not sure if I could do a good job, from parenting to preparing nutritious food and taking good care of Ethan and ensuring he drinks enough fluid and takes in enough nutritious food.
In the past, I have my mom, dad and sisters to fall back on. But now, it's just me. I am scared. I don't know if I can do a good job and hold up to it.
What if I fail...
Also, the luxury of time we are SO used to having. We can return home late, last minute decisions to go out, etc... now, we have to be on time for fetching Ethan.
I used to discuss with hubby lubby on the school arrangement i.e. he sends Ethan to school and we will pick him up after fetching me from work. But a brief talk with him doesn't sound so positive. He doesn't seem willing to wake up a little earlier.
I don't know. I am worried about not giving Ethan a good upbringing. :x

happy 6months Kaelyn!
6months ago, this little girl came into the world and join us as a family! She was still a little bub then.
Now she's 6months old.
She knows how to flip from both sides but she still don't know how to flip back yet.
She gets very frustrated when she cannot move towards her targets (usually soft toys in front of her) and she screams...
I am now trying to get her to learn how to do the leopard crawl.
She's taking brown rice cereal 2times daily and still on have EBM and FM, until the EBM stocks depletes...
She will seat in the walker but for 5mins only.. and she knows how to reverse in the walker.
She's is one talkative girl yet very timid. :x
Today also marks the last day I pump. It's a little hard for me to part with the pump, an equipment that never fails me and one that took great care of. I am still looking for a new owner for this pump and hopefully, the next one can take equally good care of it.
With end of my breastfeeding journey, it's time to embark on self-recovery and pampering journey.. that is to get rid of the fats and start toning and firming my skin.. especially my tummy area! :)

correction in the house...
So I finally decided to get down to asking our contractor on repositioning our kitchen switch to a more convenient place.
Since it's not as expensive as I thought it would be, I gave the green light and got it settled within a few hours.
Honestly it caught me by surprise when the contractor told me it's a 2hours job. Indeed, it was. In fact, less than that if you minus away the waiting time for the 白灰 to set in.
We ran out of the required paint and they were nice enough to go and get it on our behalf.
I also got a rack to get the microwave oven area organised, so that we don't have to move away the stuff above the microwave oven every time we use it.
I am looking also clearing my freezer, that I bought to store the EBM exclusively. Hopefully we have more space in the house when the baby feeding stuff gets cleared slowly...

破财消灾
They say Rats have lousy luck and Rabbits must be careful on the road.
Indeed for the past few days my hubby lubby don't have the best of luck.
A little incident happened at work and just a while ago, we met with an accident. A minor one but still, I hope this will 破财消灾.
I am thankful that when all these unhappy incidents happen, there is either me or someone around to curb hubby's temper and he eventually managed to cool himself down. Hopefully he can also stay cool during trying times like these...

thank you hubby!
There are ups and downs in our marriage.
Truth to be told, there are times I feel like giving up and leave this marriage once and for all.
But there are also sweet moments like this...
I like it when my hubby pampers me like a princess.
Hubby Lubby, thank you for...
- bringing me out for a date
- treating me nice dinner
- accompanying me to shopping
- buying me things especially luxury items when I hardly you give one
- giving me surprises
- allowing me to sai-nai with you
and thank you for loving me!
I am sorry I upset you last night but I am thankful for your understanding and we made up soon after.
I love you! :)
Honestly, I don't need luxury items or expensive treats, I only need you to occasionally bring me out for a date and spend some quality couple time with me... that, I will be satisfied and a happy girl. Still, I thank you for the thought to buy me all the gifts. :)
Happy Valentine's Day in advance! :)

Happy Chinese New Year!
Today is day 6 of the lunar new year!
They say it's a year of rotten luck for Rats. I wouldn't say it's true but unlucky things did happened to me already...
I was quite lucky to win a windfall before the year of Snake ended, so in comparison, the year of Horse is only so-so for me.
The most unlucky thing that happened to date (which just happened yesterday), was breaking my heels and I had to pretend to walk normally with a broken heel. Glad that my colleague has got spare slippers in office (I brought my home before the office moved).
The hubby couldn't pick me up and I had to cab home. Obviously, you wouldn't expect me to wear office wear with slippers and walk on the streets/take MRT.
Since I was home early yesterday and the man is not around, I took Kaelyn and the helper to the nearby mall. Had our dinner there and off we went shopping!
Kaelyn was well behaved except a little impatient with us when we were taking our dinner.
She even dozed off at the supermarket.
We bought a loadful of stuff and took a cab home.
