It's been weeks since we got our car on the 12th and we decided to send the car for a wash yesterday noon though it's still clean and sparkling; just that the interior needs a good clean and vacuum. :p
To our dismay, we got to know that they are shorthanded for interior vacuum&clean after our wash so we went home and did it on our own. Took the mobile vacuum and damp cloth to clean & vacuum the interior. MrGoh did the vacuum-ing while I wiped the dashboard & doors.
We also pumped petrol on our own for the first time (without the pump attendant's help). It was fine initially until MrGoh kept plugging the pump thing (not sure what's that called) in & out to see if the tank's full, causing the petrol to leak all over. To be honest, it's our first time and we don't really know how to gauge when the tank's full. The only time my father-in-law taught me, he said, there's a sensor inside, it will stop once it's full. I wasn't the one holding on to the pump so I wouldn't know but definitely MrGoh's action freaked me out. :x
Then the funny moments. We are there fighting to buy the sponge for future car wash... after the petrol pump incident and what transpired:
Him: I wanna buy xxx (for the car) for car washing purpose.
Me: Huh? Is it necessary?
Him: Okay.
Him: I wanna buy the sponge, next time can use it to clean the tyre.
Me: But you got time meh? I think we will end up paying for a car wash and no use for the sponge liao.
Him: Aiyah, you always say nag nag nag nag de. Next time I come & buy myself. *pouts & walks away*
Me: Quietly take the sponge, walked up to him and said "nah, buy lah buy lah".
Him: *Smiles*
Me: *Bleah~*
I think those are kinda sweet moments. :)
I like it when we keep disturbing each other.
Last night, while he was watching a HK drama online, he mentioned something *relating to the story between the 2 male leads & 1 female lead* and I replied. We both had a good laugh. :)
Love you my hubby lubby. :)
Hope your cough gets better cos it really pains me to see you cough til waking up in the middle of the night.
I'm falling sick soon. You need to get well to take care of me. :x

1st purchase for the little one. :)
Finally we have done our first purchase for the little one. :)
Made an impromptu trip to Causeway Point yesterday noon to discover that Metro is having 20% storewide sale due to the mall-wide renovations I guess. :)
Sidetrack; haven't been to CWP for the longest time and it surprising to learn about its new facelift.
So taking advantage of the discount, we bought an Advent food / milk warmer.
Wanted to buy the sterilizer cum warmer but the functions for the all-in-one ain't as good as the individuals.
We didn't buy anything else cos we ain't sure which brand of milk bottles are better till we consult the more experienced ones. Moreover, I think we can wait for the all the baby fairs coming up in March. :)
Can't wait for then. Did a mental calculation. It's gonna cost more than $500 to get all the little little stuff.... The breast pump alone cost $800++... :(
~~~
Bought MrGoh his belated Vday pressie yesterday too. :)
Supposed to be an happy affair but I threw a tantrum and ended up with an argument. We made peace but that cost MrGoh one day of leave. I'm sorry Hubby Lubby . :(
I'm too willful liao. Sorry but promise never to do those four things you promised me again when you're angry k. I love you. :)
shopping~
I guess it's time to do some shopping.
Went online and saw some things I like... maybe will place an order once I get home & measure up myself. :)
Also saw a diaper bag but it's in pink&brown color combination. Looks spacious and am considering to buy it or not. Let's see how...
Waiting for March to come and there shall we start our purchases for the little one.
I hope I am not too late by then. :)
~~~
Updates on the past few days.
Went for Company dinner on the 18th. Supposed to be CNY dinner but I guess, it should be called post-CNY cos it's a day late. Managed to drive from city back home. I'm impressed by myself and I find that I can actually drive better when I am alone. :)
Was nua-ing at home over the weekend cos MrGoh isn't around. Went to Woodlands to pick him up and I guess I am lucky, managed to find an easy parking lot. Something funny happened along the way, I shall not elaborate here.. Teehee~
Work load has been on the high side from last week til today, due to today's milestone. But I'm glad we made it. :)
A colleague is leaving us end of the month and we had farewell dinner at Sakura earlier. It's a little disappointing with it's current promotion but still, I managed to leave with a full stomach *it ain't difficult cos I drink alot of water!*.
I love driving in the day. Need to get use to driving at night too. :)
I love going up the carpark but not down... boohoo~
Looking forward to March 14 again! :)

we miss you.
Yesterday when I was at the hotel, you called and nearly made me cry, you know.
IDD calls are so expensive yet you don't mind spending on me and huat zai. Making me miss you more than ever.
Actually I was hesitating to drive to Orchard cos I don't know if I can handle our new car and the Friday traffic. Yet you gave me a "go ahead" to drive. That's a big encouragement for me.
I drove. Alone, of cos, with the help of the GPS.
Thankful for some many people's help. My colleague, for helping me with the 3-point-turn to park and my direct boss, for running around to get me his cashcard.
Also, thankful to huat zai, for believing in me and behaving in me. :)
I am sorry that mommy doesn't know about the suspension absorber being so hard, thus bumped a few times while crossing the humps.
Dinner was okie, but the entertainment's good. Sorry again, huat zai, mommy had a tad too much soft drinks cos dinner wasn't served and we were hungry already. :(
Lucky I managed to hold on and not throw up towards the end.
Back home, thankful that eeyore and or-gui-tou is there to accompany me to sleep. I promised that I won't scratch myself and I did managed to resist it, except for the legs. I will take good care of myself and huat zai k. I love you, baby.

best valentine's present ever! :)
Today I got a surprise from both Big & Little Goh. :)
First thing in the morning, I receive a bouquet of flowers addressed to MrsGoh.
My first ever as MrsGoh. And I never thought MrGoh would be so romantic to buy me flowers again. Teehee~
Then we made it in time for the hospital tour. Initially I was thinking of staying at a 2-bedded ward but now, after viewing the rooms, I kinda set my mind on a single bed room cos the husband and the baby can stay with me 24/7 during those 2 days.
Shortly after the tour, I had my first detailed scan.
The baby's confirmed a BOY (though I have no preference) so now I can start buying stuff for the Little One. :)
During the scan, we saw his facial features, body, hands, legs and brain structure. We also heard his heartbeat. The sonographer told us he is one chubby baby, belonging to slightly above average baby weight and size. :)
The Little One gave me a surprise, or rather, the husband & I. The baby moved during the scan; both hands and legs. One moment his fists were clenched and behind his body, the next, his fingers are wide open, for us to see, and even count, his fingers clearly.
Then his legs kicking here and there. :)
Seeing the baby move is really a touching moment. I teared. :)
But too bad, I guess the baby got tired in the afternoon & changed position which is not optimal for a 3D scan today. :(
Today we also managed to complete a few tasks in between the appointments.
Managed to buy season parking for the new car, make another set of keys for myself and got a new small study desk set which fits just nicely into our room :)
:)
MrGoh,
Happy Valentine's Day.
Happy 49th month.
Another day to look forward to is the next 14th.
Our 50th month and date with the Little One. :)

Counting the blessings.
Sometimes when I look back, I feel blessed.
Because of my birth-date, I actually get to complete my education earlier than anyone else of the same year.
When I was in Secondary school, I got to know the bunch of friends, who now has become my lovely sweeties. Got into the top class (of my school), took part in the sports games & all other activities my class was involved, got the opportunity to join the school band and eventually became Quarter-Mistress.
Allow me to digress, to be honest, I must admit I am really, really lucky to get the opportunity to become the Quarter-Mistress(QM) because I never harboured any thoughts to be holding any key positions when I joined the school band. Moreover, I always thought the Assistant QM would eventually be promoted. And I think I did her a lot of injustice. Somehow I felt, she should be hating me cos it seemed like I have 'snatched' her position away.
Then when I went to junior college, I was glad to be part of the prefectorial board *aka councillors* and eventually into the executive committee as Assistant Welfare ___ (can't remember what's that word) to Welfare ___. Being in the student council gave me a lot of opportunities, from OBS to the daily 'public speaking' session at the Assembly... Of course, I had my moment of glory and fall. In a moment of folly, I did something bad, got demoted. Truth to be told, I didn't really feel upset that I lost the position but instead, I only felt that I have disappointed my senior who seem to have high expectations of me. At the same time, the anger (at the tip-off-ers *if there's such a word) didn't get me for too long cos somehow I knew I was a 'hated' person so it's natural people wants me down. :)
Anyways, I took it positively and concentrated on my studies. I like it that I would stay back in school, hound the tutors, especially my physics tutor for guidance. I would also take time to run the track if I was feeling stressed or down. :p
Then I got my A-levels result, got into NUS Engineering Faculty majoring computer engineering (CPE). People always comment how great it is cos CPE is kinda hard to get in. But I thought at my time quite easy leh...
Soon after, I met all the best kakis in school. My CPE clique. We had good times and bad times together... mugging for exams, rushing for projects, baking cookies, singing k, gossiping etc. I miss those times, especially the sophomore years where we did almost every module together. I appreciate them for their presence make varsity life more colorful. They are really selfless people who would volunteer to guide you on your work or offer help to print notes etc...
Not only them, I also met a few good tutors which made learning more effective. :)
At age of 20, I own my first laptop, which I affectionately call my lappie. Okie, might not be a feat but I got it with my own savings. Two thousand plus to me is considered alot. :j
Also at 20, I was on my first overseas trip by air to a place half across the globe; again on my own pocket except for the air tickets which my parents sponsored me. I am really proud of myself.
Since I was living on my savings for those 4.5months, I couldn't afford meals in restaurant or shop like mad. Those days, I shopped at supermarkets and cooked for myself. Calculated and made trips to town within the timeframe (understand the Danish transportation system and you'll get what I mean).
At DTU, I also met a lot of nice and friendly people. They made me see that not all Chinese nationals are like what we see in Singapore. With one of their guide, I toured the Copenhagen city with minimal expenses. :)
Came the autumn/fall break, I made another first. I went to Tivoli and Legoland. I also backpacked around Berlin and Hamburg in Germany, all alone. I wanted to travel to France but too bad, there was riots ongoing then and I figured I wouldn't have enough money to travel so many places. End 2005, I came back to Singapore and realised I spent my entire savings on this exchange program and the bank is only left with 2-3hundred dollars. :)
Return to Singapore in time to celebrate my 21st! At Aloha Loyang. Relatives and friends were all present. Thanks. :)
Fast forward to graduation. Got a stable job and cleared my study loan in 2.5 years; that's 24k++ in 2.5years. But sad to say, after clearing the loan, I didn't manage to commit to any long term savings anymore. I started to splurge on I-don't-know-what...:(
Finally went for lasik and finally got off the specs I worn for 13years; again, by my own means.
La~La~La... I am really proud of myself, working towards my goals within my own means and pocket. :)
Now, together with MrGoh, we are working towards the HDB flat and a car! Of course, that's on top of our commitment to the Little One. :)
Loved.

Time to buy me a new cashcard cos you always say "why do you need one"... now I need one. woohoo~
I'm happy for you, boy. :)
Lalalalala~
Our weekly date.
MrGoh promised that he would bring me out for a date at least once a week and we went for one yesterday evening. *uber happy*
He surprised me at my office entrance (without driving) and took a bus together with me to Yishun! But I know he's trying to make it up for something he did the night before. *boohoo*
Despite that, I am glad he made the effort and his presence really brighten up my day cos I was feeling all moody, low and tired. :)
We made a last minute decision to catch the movie "Homecoming" before heading home to lose ten bucks to 'ban-luck'. MrGoh won though. :)
Love. :)
Looking forward to Monday. A different Valentine's day.
First Valentine's day as MrsGoh and meeting our little one to confirm his/her gender too. :)

chinese new year.
So the Lunar New Year came and sorta went... though today is only the 7th day of CNY.
No pictures for this year.
Didn't do much visiting either. Kinda miss those days where I'd follow dad&mom around to the ah yis' place.
This year I only managed to visit yi po and the reunion at 4th uncle place for my parents' side.
As for MrGoh's side, we had a reunion at his Grandma's and 2nd auntie place on the 1st and 2nd day of CNY.
Okie, this post might sound a little gloomy cos I'm still suffering from the itch at night. Going back to have a good rest tonight. :x
Happy Chinese New Year to All! :)

On the Bridal Boutique
Really tired to do a proper write up. I have consolidated some links to my previous posts on the bridal boutique.

Actually I was a-okay with the service of the bridal boutique until the photoshoot & selection part. I have to say I am not a photogenic person and the photographer is not able to bring out the best in me. So a little disappointed in the end-results.
Then came the selection and confirming layouts. I feel that ours is too plain and normal. :( Had to go through rounds of iteration before we got everything right and that took quite a while before I got the albums because the coordinator simply had too many couples to handle. :(
As for the MTM EG, I am quite pleased with Eddie's design (I contributed my idea too!). As for the selection of WG, I think it's quite limited. :(

On the Florist
There were 2 appointed florists from Shang and with recommendations from Christin, we went ahead with Sing See Soon.
Read my 1st impression of the florist here.
The florist was able to provide inputs to my theme and most of the time Christin helped to liaise with her.
I must say, the actual day decor was really well-done, of cause with lots of help from my father-in-law for the fishes. And I am glad to have worked with Sing See Soon. :)

On Live Studios
Guess what prompted me to engage LiveStudios?
It's was the celebrity Jamie Teo's & Daniel Ong's wedding. Saw on her blog that she engaged Live Studios and I thought it might be a good idea to have it for my wedding, for the sake of convenience.
Because, usually we go around for table-to-table shots and the guest (or rather, the parents' guests) will come to us for the pictures. With this live projection and printing service, I thought that would save us the trouble of printing the pictures and bring in some novelty (as none of the relatives/friends have done this so far).
So this became my primary motive for engaging them and I wrote to them.
Since I was on a tight budget, I thought of asking for a discount. I never thought the sales person would obliged to my request, because they are quite well-known and running proper business here. But Raj (the person I liaised with) actually took note and offered me something 'extra'. I would say what's the extra here but I really appreciate his help.
Moreover, I think I took a few months before I committed and he was willing to honour his offer (usually quotations are valid for the most 1month). Chris was the photographer assigned to me. I find that he's a nice & accommodating person because you can always see me asking him around here and there to take pictures, esp with the number of guests I had. And in between, he still manages to take beautiful pictures.
Due to the high volume of guests and big banquet hall, the distribution of pictures wasn't that smooth but it was expected and I think they really did to their best ability.
All in all, I have never regretted engaging them and I would recommend anyone interested, to take up their services if it's within the budget.
Here's a link to the pictures I have previously posted. Basically, except for the star-fish, all are taken by Live Studios.

On Our AD PG & VG
Okay, for AD photography, we engaged CS Lim from AM.PM photography. Because a colleague's brother had his wedding not not long ago, so I asked her for her brother's photographer & details. My colleague was aslo very nice in helping me to borrow her brother's photos for me to see. After seeing the pictures, both MrGoh & I decided that we like his presentation style.
Not long after, we arranged for a meeting to view more of his portfolios. I was quite satisfied with his work & package price, however, I was quite skeptical since he's a one-man-show & no proper shop front, would he run away with all my hard-earned money? Moreover, during our 1st meet-up, he made known to me he will be travelling to China for a month & that made me even more worried about paying him the deposit.
In between the period after meeting him, I was also considering some other PGs (which I cannot really remember who), then by the time I decided to confirm him, he was already away in China. One good thing is that, he has got someone to help him reply to his emails (though the response was not as prompt) and help me book my AD date. Moreover, I was able to pay him the deposit upon his return. (It's really extra assurance!)
The usual practice is to pay 50% deposit and the rest on the AD. But for CS, he's comfortable with me to pay 20% of deposit & the rest after I get my photos. With this 'very-extra' assurance, I went ahead and paid him the 20%. :)
On the days nearer to AD, I was able to contact him and arrange with him the details with no problem. And on the AD, he was also prompt & punctual.
p/s: I think he's quite reliable because my MUA actually knows him (i.e. they met at a few wedding assignments before). :)
I just got my AD pictures from him and I am a satisfied customer!
As for AD PG, if you have read from here, we have selected Clip Productions.
This is a 2-person team (Bernard & Doven) where the office is residing in Tradehub21. I am really glad that I signed up with them. On the actual day, the VG Bernard was more than punctual. He was the earliest! Even earlier than my jiemeis. I thought I have paid for a one-man service, but later in the afternoon, Doven turned up. He told me he was there taking over Bernard, so that the latter can go back to process the films in time for the highlights.
So you'll be thinking my highlights will be till the time Bernard left right? You are wrong! The highlights also captured the part where Doven took over, all the way til we call it a 'morning'!
As I have blogged earlier, I am really satisfied with the highlights. Made it very memorable and my money worth! They are definitely recommended! :)
Nice & friendly people to work with too! :)

:x
Sorry baby, I didn't mean it. I know you are not angry but I feel bad for jamming the brakes. Glad that you are okay.
Yesterday we did a reality check and finally decided to make another major commitment, for at least the next six years.
Actually I'm scared and feels that we are not ready yet but this is a good opportunity that MrGoh doesn't want to miss and I really want to support him. :)
I can't imagine how the rest of the days will be like but our budget will definitely be tight; not to mention the arrival of the little one and our new place coming up in 1.5years' time (spells renovation $).
For our new place, I just hope we can get my preferred interior design company to do the job but looking at the situation now... I really doubt so.
I have never been so broke. :x
