Finally we got the pictures from our AD photographer over the weekend.
Haven't got the time to look through the CD. Maybe tonight.
We got our videos last weekend too. :)
So now, it's about getting a reliable internet connection and some free time to upload the video & photos. :)

On my mom's MUA
The whole complicated story on how I got to know this MUA.
My friend took & posted her pre-wedding shots on FB just a few months before my pre-wedding shoot. I like her make-up & hair-do. At the same time, mom is looking for a MUA for my AD because the previous MUA's style that my sister engaged for my mom didn't suit her. So I contacted my friend for more details. Who knows it turns out my friend's MUA cannot make it on my AD so in turn she recommended this MUA.
Without any trial we went for her. And god bless, it turns out quite good and most importantly my mom likes her style of make-up & hair-do. :)
This lady, Chris, is quite punctual & no-nonsense. Quite nice to get along with also. :)
My mom says she would use her on my brother's AD as well. :)

randoms.
this is really a post of random thots...
can't wait for the 14th. it's the only day i look forward to in Feb.
I wanna to start buying little clothes once it's confirmed.
Mr Goh and I decided that no angbaos for this year. we will start distributing next year. hehe.
CNY's coming. Do i still owe anyone $$? i hope not. please let me know if I did. cos old wise people's sayings - not good to owe over new year. :p
*am forgetful these days*
bored. ask me out when free okie? but must advance notice so I can let my MIL know I can't go home for dinner. ;p
oh, my itch/rash is getting better *touches wood* after seeing the doc and applying creams. still got little red spots/scars left, hope they will go soon.
btw, the "bleed" i mentioned in my last post was metaphorically describing how i was feeling... not really about the itch but i'm fine now.
probably due to the pregnancy, my emotions are always under-going the roller-coaster rides. the slightest thought can make me tear and the slightest act can touch me so much; making my day. :p
lastly, kindly click on the adverts (at the side bar) if you see any. thanks! :)

first wedding monthsary
We celebrated our 1st month wedding 'anniversary' last evening with a simple dinner at Fish&Co. :)
MrGoh 竟然忘记了!
I was the first to wish him, not only this time but also on our 4years get-to-know-anniversary just days ago. :(
But he made it up. No fanciful promises but with simple caring actions which made me feel uber-loved by him. :)
This morning I got a little upset with his loud voice over the phone but he totally made it up by taking the initiative to help me make a trip to the bank to change new notes before having lunch & heading to work. In the end, the poor boy still have to pack lunch. :x I am feeling a little guilty now.
Sometimes I wonder if it's because of the 仔?
Hubby Lubby, will you still be so accommodating and take initiative to do things to please me if there's no 仔?
Please tell me it's a yes, okay?
p/s; I had fun during bedtime last night. We managed to disturb each other again. Loves.

On Our Wedding Planner
After meeting up with the various wedding planners and considering the services offered & the fees tagged along with, I finally decided on Indulgz Weddings.
Honestly, sometimes I feel that I over-paid for her services because most of the time, she's only dealing with the hotel & hotel's florist and helping me to do the actual day event's schedule. Not exactly her fault on this... hm, probably I didn't get her involved as much as I should have, to make my money worth.
Before I signed up with her, I have already gotten my bridal package, so there wasn't much for her to be involved here. And I think I can managed the bridal appointments & timelines here, so it's rather 'extra' to involve her, plus for the selection of gowns, it's really down to personal liking so having one more person around might not be the best thing.
One of the reasons in engaging a planner, is to help me liaise with the hotel (since I was having some problems then). She did help me, most of the time, playing the advisory roles & crafting emails on my behalf. Reason being, she will need to deal with the hotel in future so all the requests/replies & whats-not should come from me. After the saga with the planner was settle, she also helped to arrange for meetings, food-tasting and stuff like that... I think she did a good job here. :)
As for the florist, she would arrange for meeting & discussions with the hotel-appointed florist.
Like the bridal studio, my AD PG & VG are all decided on before engaging her and there's not much business for her there.
So it's down to the AD planning. The plans are quite meticulous. She also made the effort to arrange for an AD rehearsal (without the professional hosts) at the hotel.
Before signing with her, I already knew she's booked for my AD, so she won't be there for me. So, following through her plans, we were okie without much glitch on the AD.
Looking back, I was just a little disappointed on the part about filling the tanks with fishes (our theme was nautical). It was all left to my father-in-law's charge. She didn't foresee the amount of effort required and facilitate/offer any help/advises in advance.
We had some issues with the hotel's banquet services and I sought her help to craft the email. Basically the email she crafted was 75% of what I wrote (in my exact words) with para-phrasing on the remaining 25%. Actually I had higher expectations. :( I forgotten why, her services ceased after the email crafting and I was left to liaise with the hotel on my own from then onwards. A little disappointed because I remember clearly she told me she had a case before, where she successfully helped her client get a $5000 cash compensation because of the issues on the banquet services as well and yet, in my case, she told me it's quite difficult to get any form of cash compensation without even fighting for my case (after crafting that email) and I suspect it's due to the fact she gotta maintain the relationship with the hotel (as she got another AD banquet coming up at hotel) so she didn't really take it up.
We didn't really keep in contact with her after my wedding.
Honestly speaking, I feel that most of the time I can take up her share of job and saved that 2k plus dollars. However, I cannot blame her because I didn't have a clear work scope for her & I always thought/my expectation was she could have helped/guide me along with everything but somehow there were some shortfalls in reality. I guess I haven't truly communicated with her on my expectations & checked if she could deliver all these before engaging her. In all, she's a pretty straightforward person to work with. :)

not-so-good dreams
I have been having dreams lately, strictly speaking, it's not really nightmares but just some random not-so-good ones.
I guess that's because of the fun we had before we sleep.
For the past 2 nights, we spent about nearly an hour each day talking to each other, snuggling in bed, tickling, disturbing each other, talking to&sayang-ing our little one before we actually get tired and fall asleep. :p
I simply heart these bonding moments. Hopefully MrGoh will not revert to 3am Hubby anytime soon. :x
Hubby Lubby has been good these days, he understands that I am going through some emotional changes and has been accommodating to my temperament. I am thankful for that. :)

4th Anniversary & meeting of Little one
4 years ago on this day, 14th January, we got together.
4 years later, we are married with a Little one in me.
Coincidentally, without making special requests, the doctor had arranged for, exactly on this date, a date with our Little one, checking on the gender. :)
Yes, the gender is known but the doctor cannot confirm until the 5th month, which is the next appointment. Meeting the little one again on Valentine's Day.

3am woes.
I am having a bad headache since last night.
It didn't help that the husband came back at 4am in the morning.
He has upgraded from 3am to 4am liao... *pouts lip cos I don't like it*
Due to the nature of his work, he sometimes have to return late but I don't like it when I wake up in the middle of the night to find him not on the bed.
My imagination runs wild and I have all sorts of thinking what might happen. I know I am bad to curse him like that but I just can't control or help it.
I only feel safe when I see him in person at home.
Hubby Lubby, promise me you be safe k. :)

just when I thought...
... the taxi-hailing experience has become a better one... taxi-snatchers started appearing... *humph~*
Catching a cab in the morning at Hubby Lubby's place seems like a breeze just weeks ago when everyone was clearing their leave and all...
Things still didn't get that bad in the first work week of the year until this week (the 2nd week). :( I met taxi snatchers!
I would say it requires some skill to catch a cab, for instance, I must be at the waiting area by 8am or earlier. Any time later will mean cab-less. Also, the location.
But even with all these knowledge, one would lose to those taxi-snatchers who dashed out from nowhere when empty cabs are approaching and catch you off guard.
I met one yesterday and the other today. Today's one was terrible. She stood in front of me and when I went further up to be in front of her. She crept towards me and overtook me to stand in front of me. Hello, I came first and lucky I got onto a cab first. Else I curse and swear at her.
Shameless Indian lady dressed in red! (no racism here but I would like to highlight she's a taxi-snatcher)
I almost wanted to snap a picture and post it to STOMP. She's lucky I didn't. :x
I think taxi-hailing must also have ethics one mah. If you know the one before you came first, then have the courtesy to let them board first. Otherwise cross the road and see who's luckier to have cabs coming in favour of their direction, you can't be blamed if the taxi comes in your direction first.

updates...
How shall I start...
Been lazy these days, have tonnes of FB msges to reply to and at one point, hubby lubby even helped me reply to one (okie, he knows the other party too). But point here is, I can only FB using my phone or when I'm at home (with unrestricted internet access) but I get lazy... so pardon me if I haven't replied to yours and I promise I will do it later today in the evening. :p
Oh yah, the itch & rash still lingers around my body & lower limbs. At one point, I felt so threatened by the itch starting at my upper limbs so I took time off in the morning and went back to the doctor on Monday.
Supposed to be seeing the usual doctor (She's usually on duty on Mon & Tues) but I only realised it wasn't her when I stepped into the room for consultation! Gosh, I just can't trust this doctor I'm seeing cos she was referring to the medical magazine to check if the non-drowsy medicine (for flu&itch) is suitable for preggies when my usual doctor has just prescribe that same medication to me exactly one week ago! *crossed eyes* And to top it off, she prescribed the same medication as the doctor (another different one) whom I saw last Friday and that's even when I told her I haven't been taking that medication and I still have 10tabs so she could save it. And I shyly showed her the medication untouched, afraid that she would question me why I didn't take them but No, she didn't and totally ignored me. She went saying, "nevermind, 10tabs not enough, I give you 10 more tabs." So now, I have 20tabs of anti-histamine which I refused to take. Epic failed doctor. :(
Anyway, after checking with the nurse, I learnt that the usual doctor I see & trust only comes in around 10-12noon. :x
Met 姑娘 last evening at Bishan for some pizza. Actually I wanted western food but I just had steak on Saturday with MIL & hubby lubby. Anyway, I think 姑娘 you should have gone into the line of molding the future earlier so we can always meet earlier and have time for shopping. :)
Hm, let's go Vivo the next time we meet! :)
p/s: and fix your that FT so I can FT you! :)

date of the week.
MrGoh was able to knock off early last evening so we decided to go for a movie date!
Before the movie, we managed to have some time to do a little maternity wear shopping at AMK Hub. Gosh, maternity wears are so EXPENSIVE!
A normal spag top cost SGD29.90 and a bottom cost arond SGD55plus...
After tonnes for trying, I managed to get a skirt which I like it alot. Too bad, last piece but I still took it. :)
Went to the SG motherhood forum and gosh, all the pre-loved better looking maternity wear all sold liao. :(
Guess I have to spend more money liao... :x
Digress. So we had dinner, caught the movie, 鬼也笑 with hubby lubby's friend then home sweet home.:)
p/s: On MC today cos I woke up with terrible itching rashes at my tummy and inner thigh area. Initially I thought it was the medication & vitamins I am having but later I zero-ed in to the body lotion I was using. I guess I'm sensitive to some of the ingredients but the lotion really works wonder in moisturising. No more sweet smelling moisturiser. The rashes subsided after applying the calamine lotion from the clinic but the itch is still there. :(
Hopefully the skin will get better later. :)

sunday. [Updated]
MrGoh just told me that Sunday will be his rest day so I was thinking maybe I can do my first maternity shopping with him before my facial appointment at 5.30pm in Khatib. :)
Have been surfing the net for pregnancy info but all shows the growth of the baby, nothing much on when to wear what... so I'm pretty much clueless on when I should start on the maternity wear. :x
Further, my collection of flare/loose dresses are kinda limited, so I am determined to make a shopping trip this weekend for maternity stuff. :p
Through a blog I frequent, I came to know that Spring Maternity & My Little Angels Maternity provide some variety of maternity wear & some tax rebates tips. :)
To be honest, I envy her drive to thread through the forums and get her mint condition 2nd-hand maternity clothes at amazingly low prices; & I would love to do that too, however,I just couldn't find that drive to do itI'm lazy to do fund transfer (I still owe one of my sweeties money from the Hen's night cos I always forget to do the transfer), so I'm so gonna stick to buying new ones unless someone offers me for free! :)
Updates;
Making plans to make a trip down to TMC this Saturday to sign up for the First Born Incentive (FBI) for my little one so I can join the First Moms & Dads congress. Haven't told MrGoh yet; hopefully he's free to come along. :)

justa share.. our everyday wear band.
Presenting to you our everyday wear wedding band. :)

Actually we thought of getting our bands from my favorite brand, Lee Hwa but nothing really fits what I have in mind (not alot of blings). We saw this pair (with a row of small blings so still don't really fit my bill) and KIV-ed while we moved on to other brands/stores.
Just then, MrGoh's aunt told us that she's going to make us a pair of rings (presumably with blings). Knowing ourselves, (I get this fear my diamond will drop out from my proposal ring) we thought, why not just get an inexpensive "everyday-wear" band so we can be chor-lor & save the blings-ring for occasions.
Wala~ and I happened to like this design from Couple Lab very much!
Simple & nice. :)

another proud achievement - my wedding mascots.
First, I would like to thank my mom for giving up one of the kitty couple from her collection for my use & accompanying me in my search of the piggies from miuee. :)
So, given the choice of Japanese, Chinese & Western dolls, I picked the third.
and stripped it bare. :x
My rational for choosing this piggy is because I have got a bigger version one, which I got it for hubby lubby as the 1st Valentine's pressie & another reason which I shall not disclose.

other little details...

So I got a $8.90 tiara from Aries and got mom's help again, to sew it on.
Tadah~ the end results, this time with credits to my dearest mommy! :)

the legendary DIY angbao box. :)
Finally found time to share my DIY angbao box that I did with 姑娘.
Previously while surfing the net, I've gotten some ideas on how I want my angbao box to look like (since I want it fit to our nautical wedding theme) so 姑娘 and I went high and low in search of the materials. However, being a commercial product (from US), it meant that ordering online will not be an option & DIY-ing, or rather, replicating it will be an uphill task. So there came a time that I was desperate and feeling depressed over our futile trips to ArtFriend.
It was an unexpecting trip to Daiso that I found some materials and got fresh ideas on the angbao box. Subsequently on my return trip to ArtFriend, I got this box and painstakingly cut the slit for the insertion of angbaos. I know there are readily cut ones available but I find those opening a tad too big and not at my ideal position. :p
After cutting I found that the sides are too plain so I made use of the cotton twine and did some knots.
And TaDah~

The wooden lighthouse & lifebouy from Daiso & wooden anchor from Artfriend. Cut out the royal blue paper & stick the names stickers onto it, all credits to 姑娘.

And the end product~

I kinda proud of the end product and luckily I took pictures of it cos guess what...
at the end of the wedding, the angbao box came back with only the lighthouse intact (cos it's super-glued to the lit); the anchors went missing. I quite like the anchors with both our names and 姑娘 & I took great pains to stick the alphabets on it. :(

my birthday. :)
I guess with the wedding preps and all, this year, I feel so ever loved by the ones around me, my parents, siblings, close friends and hubby lubby. :)
What more can I ask for, when I have most (if not all) of them celebrating my birthday with me! :)
Loved.
