Due to several issues, we have not had a chance to post the challenges this past month. We are currently in the process of revisiting the challenges, format and time frames. So we will be back with brand new challenges and prizes from the Month of May.

Spring Trends Challenge

Spring is almost here and so are the new trends for Spring 2011. The challenge for March uses three trends for spring fashions 2011. Pick one or all three trends to use on your creation. (You can make a card or scrapbook page for this challenge.)

Anything But A Card Challenge #4

Hi All, Happy Saturday. I hope you have some great weather and awesome plans to go with it. Or maybe some "Crafting" Time..Those are always welcome.

For the February ABAC - It is an Altered Clipboard Challenge. You can alter a regular or mini clipboard to either display a photo or as a message center or even to just use it as a good ole clipboard.

Here is my altered clipboard. I plan to use this for my vacation pictures that I can keep rotating.

I cut out a piece of pure poppy Card stock (4.5x6.5) and then scored it on the inside at ever 1/4" and then using those score marks I cut out the inside panel using my Fiskars blade knife. I then put some foam dots on it and adhered it to the clipboard. So that way when I want to change the picture, I can simply remove this and insert a new one.

I then embellished the clipboard with some flowers, some tim holtz tape and a old ticket that I had and also with some butterflies. I tied some ribbon to the clipboard handle to jazz it up a bit more.

Feb 2011 - Holiday Card Challenge

Happy Sunday!!! I am here with a sketch for y'all for the February Christmas Card Challenge. Feel free to combine this with other challenges, but please give credit to our sketch. You have until March 4th to submit an entry for this challenge.

I used PTI Polka Dot Basics and another image from the Vintage Labels set to create my background pieces. I could have as easily used patterned paper and put together some cards quickly :) Good for mass producing holiday cards and to use up some of the scrap paper.The sentiment is from PTI Signature Christmas Stamp set.

February 2011 - Monthly Scrapbook challenge

Happy Saturday. Just one more day to go for the Superbowl. I am quite excited to be part of it even though Cowboys are not playing :)

Sorry for the late post. I am back with a Scrapbook Sketch Challenge for you for the month of February.

Please create either a 12x12 or 8x8 layout. Please feel free to change the elements of the page to suit your photographs. As long as we can still make out the sketch, that should be good enough. Here is my Sample for this sketch. These are pictures of our visit to the Southlake Town center here in DFW area when my Friend Rajesh was visiting from Dubai. This was when my parents were in town as well.
