If you're wondering, I was experiencing emo shyt last night so kindly ignore the prev post. :) And we resumed lessons ystd since Tin's finally back! Got 3/4 of our Rumba routine and I'm digging it! Awaiting for the cleanups for both dances. It sure felt great to take lessons once again no matter how big a hole they cause in our pockets. I just wanna dance all life and I promise to work hard. We gotta put in 101% effort for June's Nationals alright! (: Heh.

Side-tracking a lil, school's starting in exactly TWO weeks time. May this 14 days past at snail speed cus I don't wanna be bombarded by school work so soon. Time just passes too quickly sometimes when we don't want it to do so. Oh well..

I'm back!

So the "3d2n" flew past just like a shooting star. I won't comment much since the experience was nothing exquisite- just what a normal passenger would expect since we didn't exactly pay attention to the special talks & tours. I guess it's more about the times spent with your friends which are worth the remembrance. (:

I have to say that it felt great to dress up nicely as a whole and the time at the Safari lounge(ktv) was memorable! Why? Cos the entire 78 of us + our 3 teachers occupied almost the whole area and there was this mini singing comp carried out. And we were WOW-ED by the lovely voices of some, esp Mr Oh! Tsk. His singing made us melt, like totally! Ley was saying that he should switch his occupation to a photographer since he liked taking photos but I think singer suits him more. Haha. (: Perhaps after all, we should be happy that he'll be taking us for both LAM and CEM. Ha.

We wanted to get drown ourselves in alcohol and beer and experience the sensation of being drunk & high, but only Shux and Yina achieved that state. I got a lil drowsy after drinking a lil and my face was redd & I was burning inside. As a result, only Est, Ley and Shux went to watch the sunrise while the rest of us were stuck to our beds for a couple of hours. The headache was horrible when we awoke but I guess its bcus of the lack of sleep.. Nevertheless, girls, let's find another day to hangover, preferably next wed at Char's place? Heh.

and i got to see how a casino looked like! amazing but scary. hahaha. Alright I'm off. Lesson and workshop tmr but I'm seeing my darlings once again! YAYNESS! ((:

We're gonna board that gigantic Superstar Virgo in abt 9 hours time but I'm not one bit excited. Or should I say, mixed feelings exist?

Tell me about it. Tell me about paying $285.5o for an 'actually less than 3d2n cruise' to KL/Malacca when we're just gonna stay on board the ship for the sake of learning. It had better be fun I tell ya.. Just imagine- the same amount can actually cover abt 5 dance lessons which is so much more fulfilling. (to me that is)

I dunno why I'm so pessimistic but just dont let us rot our way through day 2 please.. I wouldn't wanna doze off for all the learning processes.

So anyway, all of us had an experience of our life ystd with the occurrence of an unexpected accident during dance. It's scary but I guess it all sums up to one word- risk. Whether it's noticeable or not, everything involves a certain amt of risk. When we dance, we're aware that we may hurt our legs/back if we're in the wrong position or if we slip. So let's just be extra careful from now onwards! (:

And btw, there's this Dance of the dragon one dance comp coming up on the 12th and 19th April but judging criterias are not gonna be based on techniques but showmanship. Oh god. Tin and I should be joining for experience I guess? Still unsure though.. Shall wait till Sat and may Sat arrive asap! (: I wana resume my lesson and hopefully, we'll be alert enough to have our cha polished. hehehe. And I'll get to see my dance darlings again on Sat for dance workshop. I'm missing you guys alr, esp bestie & mich darlin! Boo hoo. ):

I saw this elderly woman dining opposite me this afternoon at JP and seeing her made me miss my grandma.. The old lady was handicapped and needed her daughter to feed and attend to her. At regular intervals, she would stick out her index finger and point to any direction randomly. I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean but there was a time when she pointed to me and I just stared back, blankly.

Then I tried putting myself into her shoes and figured how painful and difficult things were since she wasn't able to do things on her own. I thought of the countless things she wanted to express but yet, were unable to open her mouth. And the usual routine of speaking becomes so difficult that even uttering a word seems to take her life. ):

No wonder people choose to take morphine and meet the Lord in advance instead of waiting till their death date arrives.

To grandma: If you happen to see this in any way, I wanna tell you that I miss you a lot and I still love you. Hope that you're doing fine in heaven, where pain and sufferings are eliminated and eternity exists! (:

So anyway, Bestie's birthday was well spent with the dance peeps and we had a great deal of fun, esp at night though things were a lil boring at the beginning. I really really love all of them loads and I thank God for all of you! If you were to ask me what's my opinion abt life now, I'll say that it's close to what I desire. But I was just thinking:

What would life be if I was born in a wealthy family? How would it feel like having countless cash in your pockets and not having to worry about your daily expenses, as well as being able to fork out any sum for dance lessons and purchase international costumes?

Haha. Just some random thoughts. Its 2days to cruise but sadly, I'm not as excited/enthusiastic as I ought to be and I haven't even packed. Let's hope that it'll be fun yeah.. I'm just wishing for Sat to arrive quickly cus Tin'd have be back by then and we can start lessons once again. :) Though lessons rob and we get really stressed out at times, I'm digging each lesson to the max. (:

And and and, I'm determined to do my best for the June Nationals! I gotta be able to do both left and right side splits by then! The right side's almost done and now's the left. ((: Jiayou mel!

This post is dedicated to my bestie/bestest girlfriend/twin/sister/buddy/juying/wonderwall,
WANG SHI JIAO.

She loves the colour blue.
She loves calling me juying when I call her juying too. (:
She loves the ocean/sea.
She loves nature.
She loves to sleep.
She loves being lateeeeee. :x
She loves calling me and chat till we both mumbled nonsense before heading to lalaland.
She was my fellow classmate for four years, prefect and dancemate.

On top of everything, she's one who's gone through the most with me.

I couldn't rmb how we got close but back then, I rmbered you as a very quiet girl who wouldn't speak unless necesary. Somehow or rather, we cliqued tog in Sec2 and became pretty close. An incident which I'll never forget is when we fell out once for god-knows-what reason, and the period of time was really terrible. We didn't talk to each other for days, and dare not face each other till some time after too.

Though it was a mistake, that's the only time that we officially 'quarreled' throughout our 5 years of friendship. Moreover, life's full of ups and downs, isn't it? So i guess that was one of the situations God imposed to test our friendship. And I'm glad we pulled through, even though we were just normal friends for a year and finally got close again in Sec4.

We were known as twins most of the time because of our similarities and the fact that we liked to dress identically. Even when people criticised us for being childish/immature to dress alike even at that age, we didn't care. We did what we liked and spent time meaningfully because we knew that we may not be so lucky to be in the same institution.

However, God was kind enough to place us in NP though our courses are different. What I didn't expect was to be in the same CCA too. I guess dance is one of the major factors which helped maintain the bond even till now. Honestly, I was pretty scared that we'll drift and not be as close anymore after sec. sch but I'm really thankful for everything!

I may not have said this but..

For cheering me up when I sunk to the bottom of my spirits,

It's a breezy Saturday night and here I am, slouching in the premises of my cool and cozy home blogging. If you've noticed, I haven't been prac on Sat nights for quite some time bcus apparently, some people are selfish enuff to block book both studios for prac when they alr have plenty of space. Besides, I'm just too lazy to head down to s&g for prac night or should I say, I'm reluctant to spend that 5bucks.

So much for trying to save up..

Anyway, we had a great time ystd at Square2 supporting Melvin & Sharon! They had this Rediscover Dance thingy going on whereby all the Dancefloor finalists were invited to do a show and Wed & Fri were M&S's slot. Thus in order to show our support & love for these two lovely instructors, a large grp of us went to support and omfg, Teacher Sharon was sizzling hot and Teacher Melvin displayed a side of him that would only be revealed during performances/comps. Heh.

We love you, Melvin & Sharon! 3 cheers for the both of ya! :DD

Then we headed off for dinner at this Thai restaurant and you know sth? I can take spicy food now! HAHA. To many of you, it may not be a big deal but the fact is, I disliked taking spicy stuffs since young with the exception of black pepper. After hanging out with my dance peeps, I somehow had to learn and adapt to their way of dining cus everyone seems to favour hot stuff. So there goes.. (:

Chilled and chatted at TCC since that was the only place which had late closing hours and by 1030, everyone was shag enough to keep mum and the entire table was silent so melvin suggested that we should all head home. And I had less than 5 hours of sleep all thanks to my addiction to the daily night->viwawa->Big2.5 and that I had to get up early for work today. Lc darl offered it to us ystd cos they needed peeps for stocktaking and oh boy, it was no easy job! It was supposed to be a 1-day job but it's still on tmr cus the stocks are still undone. Sad. I guess the only source of motivation is the double pay they're offering. Haha.

I'm pretty contented with my results. Though they aren't fantastic, I must say that I'm pretty pleased with the GPA given the amount of effort I contributed last sem and how last minute things were. To all my B+s, THANK YOU for saving me! But if I ever find out that those B+s are 78s or 79s, I'm so gonna start cursing & swearing! Ha (: Nevertheless, there's a slight dip from last sem's GPA and I hope that the lesson is learnt.

I forgot to mention abt our dance event of the year- our annual NPDS AGM, which was carried out successfully on Tues. I'm so glad that everything went smoothly and congrats to Des for being elected as Pres and Mich darl for upholding the post of VP! :D As far as possible, our new committee which comprises of Yvonne, Shi Jiao, Sojini, Ping Ting, Kenedict, myself and the two heads will work tog as far as possible to bring NPDS to greater heights! (:

We have to. And no matter what, conflicts/politics will be eliminated to the greatest ability. Cheers to all! :D

So the next Nationals will most likely be on 28/29th June at NTU. Omfg la, that's like 3 months from now and I'm not progressing/improving during this period while I await for Tin's return. I'm guilty for slacking like shit and I feel that I've dropped. MelodyLiChungYun, buck up, for goodness sake!

Okay enough of complains. Tmr's the release of results and I'm freaking out. I hope to see at least a 3.0 on that friggin NPAL screen, if not I'm so gonna die, die, die. Come 8.3oam and that freaky sms will start buggin into my K8ooi. I can still rmb it waking me up from beauty slp last sem and it gave me a shock of my life!
