Taiwan - Day 10 Part II

The rest of Day 10 was spent at Shinkuchan, which is a shopping district that resembled Wufenpu, followed by Jhongsiao Night Market and then a boat ride down Love River.

Shinkuchan Shopping District
Nobody around during weekday afternoon. I always prefer to shop when it's not so crowded, but then again, I didn't buy anything.
Central Park
Our equivalent of Speaker's Corner?
Jhongsiao Night Market, which is quite disappointing in terms of size and variety of food.
Boat ride!
Look at the queue! It's mostly made up of tourists.
Not allowed to leave the seat through the journey so photos will contain the sides of the boat.

Taiwan - Day 10 Part I

KAOHSIUNG

The day of Day 10 was spent visiting the 85-storey Tuntex Tower (highest in Kaohsiung, 2nd to Taipei 101 in Taiwan), followed by a trip to Dream Mall, which was largely a 10-storey shopping centre with a ferris wheel on the top floor.

Taiwan - Day 9

KAOHSIUNG

Day 9 was spent largely at Kenting, located at the southern tip of Taiwan. Dinner was eaten at an affordable yet sumptuous Japanese restaurant.

The Kenting Express bus. Takes about 2 hours to reach Kenting.
Kenting Beach - Totally awesome!!!

Visited the Marine Museum
Loved the blue skies that day!
Reminded me of Vivo, where they had water bodies for children to play in the water.
Fishes and fishes
There was a live feeding session of the whale shark.
Look at the advance of technology these days. Even iPad can be used for taking photos/videos.
Underwater World?
Cute worms which dug in and out
Outside the museum
If only I live at such kind of places..
Last photo before we caught the bus back to the city.
Had dinner at a Japanese restaurant near our hotel! They had free flow tea, rice, vegetables and miso soup!! Free flow!!!
The cost of the above was SGD 9 only. And I ate additional rice and drank another bowl of miso soup. Really hungry that day.
And it wasn't even mentioned that desserts were included in the meal. Yes, everything for just SGD 9. Amazing.
A must-eat if you guys ever pop by at Kaohsiung. It's located at 'Sanduo Shopping District' (name of the Metro station).
That sums up Day 9.
