If you aren't already a follower, I'd love to have you follow my blog!

If you are one of my regular readers: Thanks for coming back! I love having you! Please join along in the hop - you can start at The Twinery's blog.

The Greeting Farm first sprouted into the stamping world in 2008 as a small dream and has cultivated into something wonderful because of wonderful customers like you! With three years of farm-fresh images under their belt, TGF is going strong and love brings you fun-loving, animated characters, including the best-selling "Anya" line. The Greeting Farm brings you cute, charismatic images that are LOADS of fun to COLOR! There is truly something for EVERYONE on the Farm and we are so glad to be teaming up with the Twinery today!

As for The Twinery, their twine is made from 100% cotton, it's eco-friendly and made in the USA. Whether you're gift wrapping, crafting or tying up baked goods to give to a friend, this TOP quality baker's twine adds a fresh, yet nostalgic look to any project at hand! The Twinery's twine comes in 14 delicious colors and is uniquely twisted against a bright white hue, creating an eye-popping burst of color and a creative embellishment! It has lots of color which lends to a fun, candy-striped look.

The Prizes:
There are TWO prize packs up for grabs -
The Greeting Farm is giving away their ENTIRE November release EARLY to one lucky winner- that is four stamps in all and EARLY nonetheless!

The Twinery is giving away one “COLORFUL BUNCH” sampler pack!

The Details:
Leave a comment on each blog along the hop. The winners will be chosen randomly from all comments on the manufacturer blogs AND the designer blogs.

Blog comments close on Sunday, October 23rd at 5pm {CST}.

The Project:

I created this card by stamping the "Piper" stamp from The Greeting Farm multiple times onto basic white cardstock.

I colored the lower portion of the stamped images using Copic markers and then punched them out using a square squeeze punch from Fiskars.

I chose four colors of The Twinery's twine to match the images - Maraschino, Mandarin, Peapod, and Caribbean.

I wrapped the card with the twine, added the image blocks using dimensional adhesive, and ended up with a clean and simple (and fun!) card.

Have you begun to think about your holiday cards yet this year?
Yes, it's still October, but if you've gone out shopping surely you've seen the festive displays.
Red and green is in almost every store and all the holiday decorations are being set out - Christmas is coming up on us quick!

If you are looking for some great holiday cards with only a little bit of effort, be sure to check out the great deals at Shutterfly.
They offer various types of Christmas cards, holiday cards, and even thank you cards (great for after the holidays!)...and so much more!

I love the idea of the flat stationery cards - they would be great for displaying on the fridge or for hanging and displaying them with other Christmas cards.

{And of course they will look even better with photos of your family than they do with pictures of those strangers!}

I placed an order with Shutterfly for some cards last year and they are very nicely done and high quality...and Shutterfly was very kind in working with me to correct a color error on my first batch.

If you'd like to get 25 FREE holiday cardsfrom Shutterfly be sure to leave a comment here.
Shutterfly is allowing me to give away a code for 25 FREE cards...for 3 winners!

{I will leave this giveaway open until Sunday, November 6th at midnight PST. Winners will be posted after that date.}

Halloween Banner {Authentique Paper & Glue Arts}

***Looking for my post for the The Twinery & Sweet N Sassy Stamps blog hop? Look HERE***

{As seen today on the Authentique Paper blog}

Hi!

Today I'd like to share with you a project I created using Authentique Paper's Glowing Collection with the help of some great adhesive products from Glue Arts.

I started out by cutting the base pieces for my banner from the Glowing Collection Foundations.
{Each piece started as a 4"x4" square, and then I trimmed it into a triangle.}

I used ExtremeTac Adhesive Squares to adhere the paper banner triangles to some canvas fabric (they definitely have an extreme hold...even on canvas!) and used my pinking shears to cut the canvas.

Each center letter is a sticker from the Glowing Classic Type and is adhered to a scalloped circle punched from the Luminous paper. This is all popped up on UCutIt.

I added some die cut embellishments from Glowing's Noteables, Icons, and Tabloids and some extra little sticker phrases from Diction. Some of the die cuts are adhered using Raisen's to add a bit of depth.

I added some touches of The Twinery's twine in Mandarin and Charcoal to finish it off.

My grandma recently broke her ankle and had surgery and is stuck in rehab for a few weeks, so I plan to send this to her (along with my card from the current color challenge) to add a little Halloween flair to her room.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Authentique Paper (Glowing - Foundations, Luminous);
Stickers: Authentique Paper (Glowing - Classic Type, Diction);
Die Cuts: Authentique Paper (Glowing - Noteables, Icons, Tabloids);
Adhesives: Glue Arts (ExtremeTac Adhesive Squares, Raisen's, UCutIt);
Twine: The Twinery (Charcoal, Mandarin);
Accents: Maya Road (Doilies - Kraft, Transparency);
Other: Canvas fabric; Safety pins; Mini wooden clothespins;
Tools: Fiskars (Trimmer, Scissors, Pinking Shears, Scalloped Circle Squeeze Punch); Tim Holtz (Tiny Attacher);

The Project:

I started by stamping the image from the Birds & Roses Clear Stamp Set from Sweet & Sassy Stamps on basic white cardstock.

When I was browsing the Sweet & Sassy Stamps store this image just jumped out at me and I knew it would be so fun to color.

I colored it with Copic markers, cut it out, and added it to the front of my card which was wrapped with The Twinery's Maraschino and Cappuccino twine.

The Cappuccino twine from The Twinery is one of my favorites...it works so well as a great neutral accent.

Falling Leaves Tags

I created this set of three tags using the Unity/Simple Stories Itty Bitty stamp "LIFE Bingo".

I stamped the bingo card in three colors of ink onto some patterned papers from the Basic Grey Basics {Manila} 6x6 pad.

I used a Fiskars Squeeze Punch to punch out the leaves from the stamped papers, adhered them to a tag-sized piece of kraft cardstock and then added a cute little canvas and pearl embellishment.

Quick and easy, and if I do say so myself...kinda cute. :o)

Thanks for stopping by today!

Supplies:
Cardstock: The Paper Company (Kraft);
Patterned Paper: Basic Grey (Basics - Manila 6x6 Pad);
Stamps: Unity (LIFE Bingo - Simple Stories Itty Bitty);

Pearls: KaiserCraft (Denim);

Choose To Be Happy {Authentique Paper}

***Looking for my Swimming for Katie post? Look HERE***

{As seen today on the Authentique Paper blog}

For today's project I used the new Gathering collection from Authentique Paper.

The colors of this line are gorgeous, and the beautiful textured papers (even in the 6x6 Bundle!) make any project special.

I altered a clear paint can to create this "Choose To Be Happy" container.

Inside the container are round tags which can be used to write down some reasons to be happy.

You can write your own and pull them out as a reminder when you need a little pick me up...or you can pass out the tags around the Thanksgiving table and have every person write down one reason they are happy or thankful.

There are so many reasons to be happy.

What makes YOU happy?

Thanks for stopping by today!

Patterned Paper: Authentique Paper (Gathering - 6x6 Bundle);
Accents: Authentique Paper (Gathering - Elements);

Other: Magic Mesh (Bronze Fine Weave); Tim Holtz (Mini Pin); Prima (Clear Paint Can);

The Project:

When creating this card I wanted to send a message especially to Julie...and what better way to say it than using this cute "Sending You Good Vibes" sentiment and guitar image from Market Street Stamps?

Not only do Julie and I share in our affiliation with Market Street Stamps, but I also serve on The Twinery's Design Team where Julie is the DT Coordinator and Designer. With this being the case, I knew I wanted to include The Twinery's twine on my card, so I wrapped the neck of the guitar with a sweet Cappuccino twine bow.

Julie - I hope this blog hop is extremely successful in helping you get the dental work done that you need. I wish you all the best!
