First "REAL" haircut!

Sorry so slow with the pictures. Today turned out to be a decent day. Hopefully, we get another day like this so we can go to the park.

We decided to try the haircut at the barbershop again. Last time ended disastrously. Today Brayden was a champ. Just kept on talking to him about his favorite kinds of chips and he was good to go.

So here are pictures just after his bath tonight. Time for bed!

Playing with Kai

Today we got to babysit Kai. Brayden had a blast having someone to play with during the day. I think he gets pretty bored with just me at the house.

What a bunch of posers!

Boots N Kimo's

Yummy yummy pancakes! Glad to see the Kim's before we left. Aunty Sharon didn't want to be on the blog so she wouldn't get in the picture! So I found this picture of her in my mom's email box. She's the one with the lighter hair. (It's okay Aunty, only my mom and dad read this thing.)

Lanikai

We had a day at the beach yesterday with Amber and little Hunter. We bought plate lunches and drove out to Lanikai beach. It's a beautiful beach with the aqua blue water and very fine sand. Only problem was the clouds kept covering the sun and it was really windy. So every time Brayden would chase the birds past us, he would kick up sand into all of our faces. Brayden didn't mind one bit that the water was freezing and the wind was blowing. He was determined to build his pool. He would bring sprinkles of water every trip and kept on going with it. It was a fun day, despite the weather. The wind did die down a little at the end. I have video of him building his pool but I don't know how to put video on my blog yet.

That night we had dinner with Beanie and Tepoe at Sekiya. Their kids had colds and little erena was feeling pretty miserable. So no pictures but it was fun to get together with them. It's been awhile.

Puna with the kiddies

Today we had lunch with Puna and all the other great-great-grandchildren. There are four total now. Two girls and two boys. When I was younger, we, the older cousins, would keep count of how many girls and boys were being born. I am pretty sure the girls usually won. Next month we find out what we are having to tip the scales of the great-grandkids.

Tiffy's Birthday Dinner

Yesterday was Tiffy's birthday. All the family went out to Wah Kung for dinner. Brayden had so much fun playing with all his cousins, as usual.

Beach! Beach! Beach!

Brayden now says Beach and starts to clap and yell when we drive near a beach. Today we took him to Ala Moana Beach so he could walk around in the water. He could have stayed there all day.

Punahou Carnival...

Too bad they don't have these in Utah. Brayden loved it. We carried him the whole time since we were afraid he would take off and we wouldn't be able to catch him with all the people. We tried winning him a prize but we are not so talented. This girl took pity and gave brayden one of her many stuff animals. We had a funnel cake. Brayden and dane rode the merry-go-round and the dragon ride. I can't believe how many people go to these things. It was busy.

Gramma Ing's Birthday

Today Dane came from Utah today. At first, Brayden just ignored him, but he quickly became at ease with him again, as if he was never away from us. First on dane's list, shave ice from Waiola's. We went to dinner at Asia Manoa. Definitely one of the best places to eat chinese food. I love it! The food is so yummy!!

Visit with Grandpa Takamoto

Today we went to visit Grandpa Takamoto. Every time I go to see him, he has a harder and harder time getting around. He is now having to use a walker and says he really hates it and misses his cane. We might have caught him during his nap time because he kept falling asleep and brayden kept trying to see what he was doing with his eyes closed and still sitting up.
