whee! yest was great! watched enchanted with baby at vivo and had dinner at.. clarke quay! =D i love the scenery there! didnt noe clarke quay got shopping mall and its called central.. super big and super alot of shops la! and yes! got alot of food, restaurants and cafes oso! i shall find a day and go there and shop and eat.. haha.. anyway, had dinner at manhattan and we sat at the balcony seats =) we get to see the whole, ok mayb part of clarke quay, ha, but its still very nice..
shared the seafood platter with baby and it was quite nice and worth the money cos we were very full =) walked around clarke quay and saw alot of clubs with many different themes! ha i shall go visit one of them one day..

had a job interview for promoter at daniel yam at stupid kallang place.. its smth like industrial park and is super ulu and far.. luckily baby pei me there=) today is like a suay yet lucky day for me la.. suppose to take 21 and alight and walk for bout ten mins.. but it was raining so heavily that i had to take a cab aft i alight from 21.. haven even work have to spend money le -.- it was still raining aft the interview and as i said its a super ulu place where no cabs would come in so baby and i tried hitching for a hike.. and guess whose car was it? it was a fashion designer's car! actually nt very sure if he's a designer but from the way he dress and walk.. er shld be la.. haha somemore i saw him at the daniel yam office earlier on.. haha.. anyway he was kind enough to give us a ride to the bus stop =) ha but we alight at the wrong bus stop! cos there was no 21! luckily got bus conductor there so he help us with directions.. so we ended up at lavender mrt station.. juz as i was thinking how lucky i am to meet 2 kind souls today, my heels broke! and i had to limp all the way back to tamp.. good bye my fav pair of heels..=(
ha but the very very lucky thing is baby was there with me, else i think i will have lost my way or get soaked in the heavy downpour haha.. thank you baby =)

A's over and shopping is here! woo! went to orchard for 3 consecutive days and now my legs are aching like mad.. it feels worst than 2.4, but still i enjoyed my shopping trips.. thou we spent most of our money on food.. wahaha..
met up with baby aft the phy paper and went orchard to shop! i walk until legs wan to break liao oso cant find a suitable prom dress=( but baby found his! =) i cant wait to see how baby will look like on that day=) i muz say i am such a failure cos i've been to orchard for like N times yet i still dunno my directions.. but luckily baby knows orchard better than i do.. i think he's super man can! he shop the WHOLE DAY with me with no complains! end up i am the one complaining bout aching legs ha.. i've got a super man boyfren hee..
wed was the second day i go orchard.. this time with jiayi and wei lin=) its been donkey years since we last met and go shopping together! but we didnt see any dresses that we like=/ and end up spending money on food hee! had dinner at giraffe.. the food is er quite ex la.. but the place is nice.. nice music, nice ambience and nice scenery=) we agreed to go there again next time.. to chill onli and not have dinner ha.. cos that day's bill scared the hell out of us! our bill total up to $99.35 la! ha next time we shall have cheap dinner elsewhere b4 going giraffe to chill..
our food and cocktail.. worth $99.35 haoh and that day was 'dress day' for us! so we all wore dresses! and i wore the dress the gals got me for my bday=) but i guess that dress was too prom-y cos ppl thot i going prom-.- haha

and thats us aft we finish our cocktails.. jiayi looked high, while wei lin and i ended up with red faces ha.. but we werent drunk!

A professor stood before his philosophy class with some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.
He then asked the students if the jar was full? They agreed that it was. So the professor picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with an unanimous "yes."
The professor then produced two mugs of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.
"Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, "I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.
The golf balls are the important things--your family, your health, your children, your friends, your favorite passions--things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.
The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, your car.
The sand is everything else--the trivial stuff.
"If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on trivialities, you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your partner out to dinner. There will always be time to clean the house, and fix the disposal. "Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand."
One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple cups of coffee."
