Influenza A (H1n1)

Influenza A virus subtype H1N1, also known as A (H1N1), is a subtyupe of influenzavirus A and the most common cause of (flu) in humans. Some strains of H1N1 are endemic in humans, including the strain(s) responsible for the 1918 which killed 50-100 million people worldwide. Less virulent H1N1 strains still exist in the wild today, worldwide, causing a small fraction of all
influenza-like illness and a large fraction of all seasonal influenza. H1N1 strains caused roughly half of all flu infections in 2006. Other strains of H1N1 are endemic in pigs and in birds. In March and April 2009, hundreds of laboratory-confirmed infections and a number of deaths were caused by an outbreak of a new strain of H1N1.

Earth Day

Earth Day, celebrated April 22, is a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's environment. It was founded by U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson as an environmental teach-in in 1970 and is celebrated in many countries every year. This date is Spring in the Northern Hemisphere and Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere.
The United Nations celebrates an Earth Day each year on the March equinox, which is often March 20, a tradition which was founded by peace activist John Mconnell in 1969.

Many cities extend the schedule of Earth Day observance events to be an entire week, usually starting on April 16, and ending on Earth Day, April 22. These events are designed to encourage environmentally aware behaviors, including increased recycling, improved energy-efficiency, and reduction in disposable items.

The flag of the Earth is a flag used to represent the Earth. Though there is no internationally agreed upon flag to represent the whole planet, some individuals and organizations have promoted designs for a flag; however, none of these designs have managed to gain much broad recognition.

Do u know that the Earth is getting hotter? It is because of Global Warming.We can help to do something for Earth like don't drive too much and don't use too much fuel.
We should save the Earth as to keep it clean and green. Remember to also recycle, reduce, reuse!

To improve the school.



I think that the school toilet doors are not very good because some of them can and cannot close. The toilet floor, too are very dirty==. I think that the school should put in new locks for the toilet doors so that all the toilet doors can be locked. The toilet floor should be cleaned everyday too and not being so DIRTY! // I also think that the PE teachers are not fair as last year, all my PE lessons were straight away after the flag rising. And everybody took so long until my class and others started PE at 7.50 am. I actually thought that this year it will change as now my PE lessons are not straight away after flag rising and the PE teachers would come on time and not take so long to get ready everything, but in the end.... it did not change.. So i think that the school should tell the PE teachers to have PE with the pupils on time.

Heathly Eating.

U have to eat healthy food like vegetables, fruits and fish to be healthy. Adults and children like to eat crackles which are wrong. It is important to eat healthy so that u can grow healthy and will not need to spend so much money on medical fees. If u eat too much soy sauce then u may have liver cancer or kidney cancer. Fruits and vegetables can give u vitamins fiber and minerals. I like eating vegetables because i like the taste of its leaves. I support the school's campiagn in encouraging the pupils to eat more vegetables and fruits because they are healthy if u eat them at moderation. I suggest that the school should make an assembly at Friday about vegetables and fruits and say what will happen if u don't eat vegetables and fruits.
