Put this on your Christmas list~You won't regret it!

If you know me at all, you know I love to entertain! These are my FAVORITE books and I just got Volume 2 and I can't put the book down. I love how there is a picture for every recipe and everything is displayed so beautifully! These books were written by Utah women and I have to say they are mighty talented! I highly recommend these!!!

I love Halloween!!

There's nothing better than granny smith apples dipped in homemade caramel sauce! YUMMY!!

We sure are going to miss you guys! It's been such a fun summer having you and the kids around!
I think Rachel looks like a blonde Whitney!

Oh Elle! You are soooo silly!

Thank you Joshua for protecting your cute little cousin from all the scary monsters!

Guess what I have?

I have N1H1......I was in Labor and Delivery last week because I thought I was dying. My whole body hurt from head to toe and I couldn't stop crying because I felt so miserable. So, I was checked in for a few hours and tested (that hurt almost as bad as I was feeling) and sure enough....swine flu. I think I'm at the tail end of it, but I still don't feel back to normal yet.
Another bummer thing....because of the N1H1, no children under the age of 14 are allowed in the hospital this season. Do you know what that means? Whitney and Elle will not be able to see their new baby sister in the hospital, they will have to wait until she is 4 days old until they can give her a kiss. How SAD is that? I broke down in tears when they told me the news. I understand its better safe than sorry, but that still REALLY bums me out!

My Favorite Family Tradition

Every October we get to go to Logan and pick apples from one of my best friends apple orchards. I LOVE to do this. I love to see the kids run around and get so excited to pick as many apples as they can, I love to see them around the farm animals and I love that we all work together for a delicious treat.

They have this old fashion apple smasher that we used to smash all the apples down to get the best apple juice in the world!

We were able to fill up (12) 64 oz bottles of apple juice. I will be canning for days!
