This is a card I made on Sunday for the Card Challenge #15 over at Chi Chi Memories. This week the challenge is a Sketch and a very fun one I might add. I used this adorable Tea Party Set and this wonderful paper by Bo Bunny for this card. It is hard to see from this view but the balloons are covered in Crystal Effects so they are dimensional. I used some old Rhinestone brads from Stampin Up and a charm from We Are Memories. On the inside I punched the birthday banner out with a 3/4" punch.

The sketch that I used is from Moving Along With The Times for this weeks "Challenge 65" which is use at least three things from the To Do list. I used 4 items. This was so much fun.

What A Great Weekend
Good Afternoon everyone. I had a great weekend because I really got a lot accomplished. First off I was really excited to find out that I had won the Challenge over at Tiddlyinks for last week. How cool is that? I love these images and so I had to do a couple more cards. This first one is for a challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. They always have great sketches and guess what? Tiddlyinks is sponsoring the challenge this week. I used Bo Bunny papers for this and I colored the image with Copics. I added a lot of Crystal Effects to the raincoat, umbrella and boots.
This card is also being entered in the challenge over at
Stamp Insanity Challenge #28: Embossing
Digi Doodles Challenge #26; embossing
A Spoonful Of Sugar Challenge #132: Anything Goes The following card is for the Challenge over at the TiddlyInks Challenge Blog. Challenge #22 is a sketch challenge this week. I used one of the new Christmas Images for this. I used Basic Grey Papers and colored it with Copics and I used flocking on the hat and trim as well as the green bag.

This is a layout that has been sitting half finished on my table for the past week so I was really happy to finish this up. I had bought several of the new lines of Bo Bunny papers a couple weeks ago and this uses the Olivia Line. I took this photo of my granddaughter KayLynn after my daughter had straightened her hair for fun one evening. My granddaughter has very curly hair so this is a big switch. She did no recgonize herself yesterday when she saw the finished layout.
I used this corugated cardstock by the Paper Company for the base of the layout. I used a Tim Holtz Mask for the clock image and Distress Inks. The flourishes are SVG files from Visual Designs By Chris and the flowers are SVG flowers from SVG Cuts.
Here is a close up of some of the details. the buttons are by Foo Fa La and the one striped ribbon flower is made with ribbon from the dollar store.

It is A Challenge Weekend at Bugaboo.
I love challenge weekends at Bugaboo. It is so much fun to see what everyone comes up with. This week should be fun. The Challenge is to make a 3-D Halloween Card. You can make the card base three dimensional as I did here, You could use pop-ups to give dimension to your image as I did with each Bobblehead. Oh Yes did you get your Free Frankie Bobblehead yesterday at the store? If not be sure and head over there and check out all the Bobbleheads while you are at it.
You want to be sure to stop at the Challenge Blog to see what all the Design Team Members have to share with you. The rules and details can be found there as well. The prize's are 7 images for First place, 4 images for Second and 2 images for Third place. Isn't that great?
You can see the glitter a little better in this photo. I do like glitter.

Is It Really Friday?
How stinkin cute is this Bobblehead by Jodie over at Bugaboo? I just love these images. You can find all 7 images HERE, and get this one FREE. How great for you.
It is a little hard to see but I popped up the head with two pop ups. I used 6 layers on this card, and a ribbon. And the Halloween sentiment I found in a dollar bin somewhere. Now I wish I had bought more. Don't you hate when that happens?
You should run over to Bugaboo Challenge Blog and see what the Design Team Members came up with and then head over to the Store and pick up your FREEBIE and a few more.
Have a great weekend. And don't forget to stop by tomorrow for a New Challenge from Bugaboo.

A New To Me Stamp Company
Last week I came across a new to me Digi Company called A Day For Daisies and I think the images are just lovely. This is the first card I have made and it is for the first Challenge they are having. I so thought I had entered this already but I haven't so I wanted to get this in before the challenge ends tomorrow.
Challenge #1 is Happiness Is... This is what I think of when I think happy, All swirls and soft flowing lines and pink. I love girlie things. I used Basic Grey Papers for this and I cut the corner brackets with a Cuttlebug folder and the Flourish on top is a SVG cut and I can't for the life of me remember where I got it and I just spent a half hour going through files and I can't find it. I will come back when I can and let you know. I'm going to want to make more. This is a close-up of the background which I made using a versamark pen and clear embossing powder and the using Distress Ink to color in the background. I cut a mask to cover the image so I wouldn't get ink on her because I think she turned out beautifully. I used my Copics for the coloring.

What a Scarey Weekend.
On Sat morning when I turned on my computer a big black screen came up with a message that it couldn't start because something was all wrong. I had class that morning so I couldn't really do anything until later. When I followed the prompts to restore my system that all went fine but all my files were gone. I have been just sick all weekend because I don't back up my files the way I should and I was so afraid I had lost hundreds of dollars worth of images and cut files, not to mention family photos. Well my brother in law came over this afternoon and finally found the files and am I a happy girl this evening. I will be backing up my images for the next few days.
I found this new cuttlebug folder the other day and couldn't wait to do something with it. So I started with a piece of shiney purple cardstock and went from there. This is a very simple card for me. I like it. This is a project I did to give out to all my nieces and nephews and granddaughters on Halloween. This is a darling Bugaboo image from the Goofy Ghosts series that came out last week. I'm going to use a different image on each bag. It is hard to see but I covered the nose and moon with stickles.
Now here is a couple of images that I came across the other day. You can find these cuties at Claudia & Co.You can buy the images at Die Cuts R Us. I think they are pretty darn cute and they remind me of my granddaughters. On the inside of the card the sentiment says "Prepare To Be Amazed! "I used Basic Grey papers for this and then colored the images that I combined with Copics. I am entering this in the Claudia & Company Challenge that will end this week( there is a sketch) as well as entering it in the Pink Elephant; Back to School challenge this week.

Friday Freebie at Bugaboo
Today is Friday Freebie over at Bugaboo and checkout what Jodie has for us today. I just love this Umbrella and I'm sure you will too. I found this round punch by Fiskers at a local SBS on sale for $5.00 the other day and couldn't wait to try it out. Love the pattern of hearts and swirls. The paper here is Basic Grey Olivia. The round sentiment is from The Cutting Cafe. Regina has some wonderful cutting files.
This card also goes along with the Challenge this week at Allsorts Challenge Blog. The challenge is to get some inspiration from a park or garden. How about a walk in the park with this lovely Umbrella. Or one of the others that you can find in the Bugaboo Shop this morning.
Don't forget to stop by the Bug Blog and check out what the other Design Team members have dne with this image today. It is a Holiday Weekend for us here in the States. Woo Hoo! But it also signals the end of Summer. Boo Hoo and Yea. I have mixed feelings about this.
