F*CK

How unlucky can I get?! Hell to all righties. All that hurrying and rushing, DAMN IT. Stupid belt clip caused the baby to slide and fly-crash onto the floor. So in addition to that minor imperfection I noticed along the edge days ago, there are 3 big eye soring dents. Barely even 2 months, and now I have to live with this imperfect unit. ARGHHH!!! This sucks, this weekend, just watch it. Orange days have come and left, we'll see about that.

dreams: Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish

There are many elements around me that have started talking about dreams during this period of time. That Oracle CEO was giving a speech at Havard telling undergrads to drop out and start businesses, and he got dragged down halfway. Steve Jobs had another one at Stanford, although he walked out in rounds of applauses as opposed to being mugged away. I am terminating acintas.アツインタス to catch another dream. I regret that acintas has failed successfully.

If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right.
If today was your last day, would you want to do what you are planning to do today?

memories

While sifting through and dumping old stuff today, I came across stuff I collected during P6 proclaiming the goodness of Shakespeare's works. To think how I detest reading his stuff now. Junked lots of primary school era stuff today, mostly kept the chinese ones.

I'm still living in post Final Fantasy mood, trying to find that mystical world I discovered just a few days ago. Some movements in my desktop placement again.

My uncle and aunt are quarelling about divorcing right now.

secured

The $20 was well spent for Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. I have re-found that sci-fi creationist feeling once again. Isn't it great to have advanced technology and machinery. I know sitting in front of the computer the whole day and night will not usher in this advanced age. I don't know if I will ever get to see it, space and all. But I want to work towards making it all happen. Working on media, will it make it happen? I'm stuck in the dilemna of chemistry and physics, which to take. Physics may very well be the path to space and flight. But the subject isn't interesting as of now, but when should it be, or when would it ever be.

Its time to fight back at the academic war. I pledged to upgrading my math and other subjects this holiday, but nothing much has happened. Make it count! That's what I have to do! A little change every day helps.

We had a supposed MPAC meeting at King Albert's Park today. Ta da da, so my team will be taking on Stuff on the Internet Supposedly Free? LCE popped in halfway, didn't see her coming. Went to her house after that for chicken porridge and discussed crap. That's the game for today. Then I showed Daniel the FF: Spirits Within DVD at his place, I'm still trying to relive all that story fantasy. On my way back lugging the big camera, the particular seat I was at sorta was within the vincity of some weird dried urine smell. Urgh.

surprise surprise

AppleInsider Report

Unbelieveable. This has gotta be the biggest tech secret of the last decade. Every single major release of OS X in the last 5 years has always been compiled for PPC and x86. And to think that the idea of a OS X machine on intel somewhere in Apple's compounds was dismissed as something wild in the past. The dual line plan was described as something "just in case". And I think they did it right.

skies are darkening

I have just verified that every attempt to seek a forward looking solution just results in another seek. This is due to the continuous nature of progress, it will never end there. In a matter of a few hours, Apple will reveal the truth behind the rumors. Be it a move to oblivion or greater heights, its progress.

Just the other day on Saturday, the one and only Japanese customer entered the shop. He said he lived here for 12 years and I could tell he was a construction engineer. Long term commitments. I'm finally reaping the fruits of seeds planted eons ago.

committed

The solution I see to the current mess is a proper consolidate and archival system.

Some quality sites:
sgdanielwang (notable for local comic parody of star wars + photog)
people.liquidblade (an interesting idea at blogging)

rumors

There have been rumors abound of an imminent announcement by Apple to switch towards x86. If you look at the lagging Powerbook G4, its more than enough reason to warrant using the P-M on the next Powerbook. I heard of this since last week. But within the last 3 days, CNET and theinquirer have both confirmed this upcoming announcement. Trust Steve and Apple to come up with such exciting U-turns. It will be an interesting year ahead for Apple.

jokes

I remembered some jokes out the blue, and I have decided they won't be forgotten away.

Anyone can drive a BMW:

MRT
Walking

doody

This period of time seems to have turned up lots of despondent people. Those who are despondent, and those beyond being so. Alas, everything will come to pass. Its the fourth time I have had to remould the plans for the forseeable weeks. So much so that I have lost a clear idea of how the supposed results are gonna turn out to be. I have only history and archives to fall back to. At least they came to be useful now, all that effort spent at maintaining them have not been in vain.

the end is near

The IBA thing is coming to an end, I dunno if I'm going to miss it. Its a rather unique experience, without all the hussle and buzzle of SLS stores. Gadgets and new tech are nice to have and look at, but you get bored with them after a while. I'm not cut out for sales however many nice gadgetry there are, sigh.

A problem I realized with the whole site's design is the lack of room for elegant user feedback. Feedback is easily given, but elegant is another thing. I have only 3 weeks more to work out 6 months worth of restoration. Its hard juggling so many things, and so much for a holiday.
