Kurose
Urgh, Jason Liu left this morning at 6am for Toronto for good. Word from the subject himself was that a whole crowd of people including Ollie, Auggie and Daniel and his church friends had all gathered to see him off. Nah, so early, didn't bother to go. But I had a brief talk with that fella on Gtalk pretending we couldn't hear the other fella. I guess this is how it goes, good luck over there Jason. But I guess he will be doing quite well.

Things that must come to pass
Having taken to watching Bleach the last 3 days, I have resolved to accomplish some useful stuff.
1. Clear up my room
2. Get some presents
3. Send letters to 2 people in the short term
4. Write something to my penpal
5. Mug more physics and math

Ice-skating
My bad, have been writing entries without pictures these days a lot.
Went ice-skating with Boey, Jovin, Ian and Foo's church friends yesterday at Jurong Entertainment
Center. Weather was good, rainy and uplifting. Due to a miscommunication error, Jovin and I entered the skating rink first, only to have Boey showing us "Hahahaha" on his handphone from the other side of the glass. Bah, dunno what those people were deliberating for. So on to ice-skating, its very much like roller-blading.
Thanks to my previous experience, I successfully skated about in the first hour without any accidents or falls. But sore as my ankles got, the accidents happened. Jovin is a natural skater, I can attest to that. So Boey was playing tag with him all the way, and there were whole bunches of dangerous kids recklessly driving their support sledges around. Grrrr.

Ok, hah, pretty fun day. Sigh, 10 days more till the new year starts. So I shall render some final words which I will look back as yesteryear's stuff in days to come. This has been a fruitful year, of equally both good and bad, for that I give thanks to the Lord. I have met quite a bunch of new people these holidays, hopefully I can send something to my Japanese penpal Yutaro soon. On the uglier side, there are people whom I know that are leaving and are bitching behind my back. So it shall be, I have received equally in quantitive of stuff which I deem to be good. This holidays hasn't been normal nor too exciting, hah, next one shall be better! I got my 3G phone and ipod nano, it shall be a good enough Christmas.
So long.

Breakdown
Thought I did make a trip to Choa Chu Kang. The library there is miserably small compared to the Woodlands Regional Library, and it was packed full of people. I did manage to read a chinese book on motivation, but left anyway. While deliberating my way back, I thought today's misadventure warranted a trip on the LRT. I never took that shit before, and now I understand why its the service hated by lots of people.

Not to mention a lousy bumpy ride, the carriage windows have an annoying filter which appears and shuts off alternatively when it passes by residential areas. And the duration between stops borders somewhere below endurable, I think people would rather walk. Last but not least, I met with a train malfunction on my very first trip there.

The carriage in front got stuck in between 2 stations for about 20 minutes. And I later saw some people in black running out on the track towards it. By the time it arrived at CCK MRT, you can see all the angry faces crowded on the platform. LOL. Real shitty service, good thing I don't live there and won't ever need to use it.

Krilas

Sigh, its a miserable 13 days left to the new year. Candlelight service was enjoyable, though not spectacular. But its all got to do with the heart. Oh well, I didn't get to meet Ronald. On further note, I have taken to mugging math and physics on my own these days, which are pretty sad subjects. The Physics tutor is a weird personality, but judging by how John Seah behaves, I think its normal for a physicist kind of person.
Regarding mPro, Operasi Krilas is underway. The Wiki is up, fileserver is up, blog is up, and the new team has been formed. Pretty independent lot, I can be gladly relieved next year, considering its a busy year. The new guys will run the show soon. Their crap is here.
QZ's party last Friday wasn't much different from last year. Same place same room, except I stil haven't gone to his house before. Interestingly, more people have taken to DDR. Naruto was on this year's PS2 menu for pretty much the whole day. No sushi though >_> . Alrite QZ, to infinity and beyond!

Merlion
Wrote these the next Monday actually...
Went to eat Carl's Jr with Rao, Hongyi, QZ, Kiahua. Bunny backed out the day before, some lame miscommunication. Too bad Rao cldn't find Keene, but never mind. The procession went ahead, and for all the hype, the burgers were only slightly bigger than BK Whoppers. Now we know better!
Took a walk to the white water spitting stone by the river. A can of Milo there costs $2.50. I realize the bridge and riverside have some photographic value, but pity I only had a lousy camera phone and the sun was overwhelming that day.

Poor merlion, pity so little care about you. You artificial freak of nature.

Jaunting Project
The last 5 days have had rather unique finds for me. Found some new techies and along with that, revival for an old project. The last few days working with the prefects has been muchly enjoyable. As compared to the monkeys in the club, they are rather on-task and innovative with the shoots. Quite a humorous lot I might say. But more than that, the first video that I have made in this few months is coming up. I'm thinking with the introduction of Skunk Works, we will be able to wreak a storm soon. Watch out people!
Hah! For the first time in 4 years, I accompanied John Loh's company to the ITE canteen for lunch yesterday. Not too surprisingly, the stalls are outsourced to an outside food company. Service is pretty good too. Prices are somewhat cheap for the kind of quantity, no complains then.

Sumptous
Coming from Tomorrow.sgFor all your airline meals resource: http://www.airlinemeals.net/
This one is from Asiana Airlines, Rockson prawn they call it. ValueAir also serves up rather nice stuff.
On second note, it seems the McD rice burger isn't island wide, nor did I see any advert campaign on it. Its not really original, came from MOS burger, and the recipe is from McD Taiwan chains.
To the East!
I finished Sophie's World yesterday, quite an accomplish since I hardly read. It was quite a pain at times, but I managed it at the library. My home and the library are worlds apart in atmosphere, and I find it hard to concentrate at home at times. Went Tampines today by bus. If anyone recalls, it was voted the Best Planned Town in the world by the UN back in 1993, or something like that. Its slightly eye-opening for me, since I hardly go there. I did look more closely this time, buildings are rather old, but quite spacious in between. Compare to the newer estates, the designers are rather skimpy on open space. They might as well not have any, cos the sunlight doesnt ever get in and the plants fail to grow. Stupid architects! Its quite a pity flora and greenery are getting lesser attention these days. Hope they go back to the drawing board with that in mind next time.

online expression
The minions out there are using the Internet without question and taken it for granted.
What was once a closed network is now a commodity. How the tables turn! These days, its quite easy for individuals to commune online. Imagine what a better world it would be if people could get find alike individuals easily. Society still wouldn't be a better place, since by logic terrorists would also have an easier time finding their targets.
But anyways, the current form of interest pairing on the internet requires great amounts of filtering on the individual's part. Can technology solve such an issue? This would wander into the realms of artificial intelligence, or maybe a more ordered system would be able to put things in order? I wonder.
Yesterday's library workout was rather fruitful I might say. Complete 100 pages in a day, that's definitely an achievement for me. On further note, I made first contact with a new person, second contact with another. How far will we go down the rabbit hole? Cross border talk is not new to me, but its time to find new individuals.
On further note, the idea of an ideas stash has been rather alluring. I'm always conjuring up some ideas about modifying existing commodities. A student themed restaurant where the table top for each patron can be lifted, and surprise, there's a screen and computer underneath which you can surf the net with or chat with your pals. Then the restaurant waiters or waitresses would be dressed in school uniform.
Regarding my defensive laser concept, its necessary for further modifications to improve reliability. The chain is way too short to be of ease to reach for in times of need. Additionally, there needs to be additional wavelength intensity. Precision is yet another problem. Hope to get these concepts sketched on paper soon.

It is necessary that the enterprise proceeds with further documentation of its inputs. Whatever that was good in the 5th era would be carried on into the 6th.

Sheeesh kebab. Almost forgotten about blogging this. Inspiration struck me at the library, where time passes slower and the world is at ease. The name is Sage, and he is a subject of trouble.

asaka
asaka is Nordish for thunder, literally meaning travelling across the sky. There are more new codenames I'm baking up.
Just yesterday, I was a Kino after leaving the Monday event. Seeking out IB guide books under mum's pressure. Coincidentally, I met this UWC girl who was cursing about the lousy Math TB they had. Got her recommendation for some Physics IB guide, which seems rather outdated for a 2001 edition, but she assured me it was the latest edition. Regarding Math, this incident hinted its maybe a good idea to do something about Math soon.
Finally for the first time during the holidays, I have gotten down to reading Sophie's World. Bought that at the same time as the Physics IB guide.

tumble rumble

I'm doing this entry from an unlikely place, the cyberac. A somewhat noisy night of LAN, so what about the project. It seems doomed to fail on my part. Absolutely no motivation whatsoever to work on it. The equipment, the rooms, its weighing towards a hate-hate affair just to see those again. And I gotta re-evaluate the feasibility and methods of future projects. It seems bleak, I prayed for help, hopefully things will tide over. But at the same time, I had made plans for a lowdown escape. Is that the way things should be done? No one has a definite answer, it seems. The old guard is no more, really, disintegrated and everything.
A mind fumbling over bad stuff seems to tumble down even more, but what have I to be happy about? Self-sympathy, I dunno why I have gotten to this stage. But things were never good to begin with.

三星期的里程碑
无意间,三星期已飞奔而去,我到底做了些什么呢?
And so, today marks the passing of 3 weeks. 3 weeks ago, I took the last paper of my secondary school life. Today, what new goals should I make? What change have I influenced during these 3 weeks?
As the weather gets colder, its time to reflect back and plan for the new year.
On a further note, I wrote to 黑米公主 for the first time in months since I heard her podcasts. Doubt I'll get the mug though. An interesting article on gep students that I came across today. Makes them sound so pathetic.

Blatant Kursks
Quite a bit of events happened over the past few days. Notably, I should declare the Art Room unfit for living. The air pollution index and cleanliness there is terribly shabby. Imagine staying a night there. That's what we did, and we woke up with sore throats and lungs and what not. Believe me, its almost unfit for the living.
Today was another spiked day. Just found out that overnight bike rentals are about $8 - $12, not too bad. Then went and redeemed the ipod nano. Woot! Its a cute one, this baby.

On additional note, the weather these days has gotten much cooler, making it possible for me to sleep without air-con or fan.

Rolling Stones
Not making a reference to the band. But that's just what the past few days have been like. Some scruffs with MRT security on Sunday where the guy threatened to get the police coming. Talk about police state. So where was I on Sunday, went to City Harvest service on Poon's lead along with JS. Talk about enthusiasm, there was one part where it got rather repetitive but everyone around seemed so deeply involved. Other than that, I have no problem with their notorious manner of worship, its actually more interesting than other churches. Then we went on a Monopoly game with Poon's cell group, fun enough except for the fares we paid when going from station to station. Its ridiculous, but hey, its cheaper than taxi. We later left with Poon while at Changi Prison station aka Changi Airport. Poon had a flight to catch, to Sydney! No luggage no nothing, heh. So the 3 of us finished dinner at BK, and wala, that concludes Sunday.
Monday and Tuesday, nothing much but delay delays. I made an effort to learn from Sunday's experience of waking up at 6.25am in the morning, something I never do during the holidays. Its quite enlightening, the air is fresh and people seem rather light on the streets.

Escalated Realities
I congratulate myself with this latest entry regarding my terrible state of being. Matters as mind-boggling and heart-throbbing happening during the end of the year holidays, never has it happened before in my life. Yes, and its a good thing too, to happen so early, before the new year.
Let me explain. There are a couple of pillars in my ruined life which are falling downwards. First is relationship, I have striked off a lot of people (friends and family) from my trusted list of confidents. Now its equates to only 1 or 2 and almost zero in a while I suppose. That is to say, I am near to suspecting everyone of some crime.
Second is work and academics, I must slap myself for being such a blabbermouth and revealed a whole tonne of stuff that should just be locked away in my mind. Now that other parties have got the information, I must really kick myself.
Third is money, I'm so seriously broke. That means I'll boycott lots of things and make life miserable for people who want me to pay for useless stuff. Balls to you all! I only have those Chinese Hell notes if you want, millions of them if I decide to go buy some. I believe you can buy zillions if you are a rich fag reading this.
Back to friends again, I'm reinterating my personal and official position that I have really high standards regarding what a friend should be like. I have tonnes of people that I'm in a retard working relationship with. Some have really no integreity. And many have low standards of what friendship should be.
So what's my best friend now? Food. I won't say computers, I'm terrible at them. While other people are useless with them. The reason I'm ranting away is because I can't get some critical ingredients for this new dish I'm engineering. And plus I'm bloody hungry now. Food comes above people now. I'll make food out of some people if necessary. Mark my words.

Oh Dear!
Yet another day has gone by wasted in the abyss. Productivity is all time low. I have minimally modified the script which is nowhere near production quality by my standards. PSK has kindly taken to counting the dates till the start of the new term, 50 days from now. Gosh, that's not a lot. Considering its been nearly 17 days since the holidays started. ARGH!!
Hell, there wasn't any ham when I went out looking for it. So there goes the Spanish omelette for the morning.
Came across this verse today:
"If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing." - 1 Corinthians 13:2

Regretful but Necessary
Its been about 2 days. Most unfortunate event of the past 2 days, I did not attend the class chalet due to the poor words of Kaleni who didn't want to be raped by the class. This could only be averted had Mun played along and went. But too bad, he didn't, so I didn't go either. I still didn't manage to see if SR Nathan was shorter or taller, since a few metres is still too far to approximate. What a sad start to the holidays.

Clutter all over again
After a day of clearing my room, it is still being cleared. I have no idea what to do with the Chinese and Math stuff. According to the book "Avoid Clutter to be Successful", I must trash these items away. But all the memories.. Then again, they serve almost no use in the immediate or forseeable future. They shall meet their maker in due course.

Green Tea is the Source
After a lazily wasted morning, and almost an afternoon too. I was revived by the remedying powers of green tea into certain productivity. I have updated my financial spreadsheets, which look pretty weak for this month. Some other advanced spring cleaning to be done, and get everything nice and clean for a new tour.

Sony MDR-EX81

A most unfortunate event which I feel must be documented. Above are the Sony MDR-EX81 which retail at S$89 which I bought around S$75. This is the result of losing the holder cap which keeps the structural integreity of the peripherals. Broken wires and crap. I can't deny that it sounds better than the EX71 in high pitches, but Sony stuff are really weak physically. Maybe I should just get the cheaper Panasonic HJE50 (S$55) next time.

Canvas
I must admit I finally realized the amount of effort that's gone into planning our OEPs. I originally thought I did learn something new. But there isn't much that hasn't been covered in past trips. No new innovations or discoveries in photography techniques were made either. Was cloudy all the time so no stars either. Presenting the Cameron Highlands:

Hills and slopes brimming with tea plants.

Scenic view about 2000m above sea.

Taken inside the mossy forest.

A pink rose

A dreamy morning

I liked the sky patterns in the evening.

Chrysanthemum, ready to bloom.
Afterthoughts, for anyone going there for the first time. For your own sake, get some sleeping pills. The stupid trip up involves revolving around the mountain for about 50-70 times, each round is about 5 minutes. How do I know that, I was kept awake by the stupid bends.

realigned realities
Am I lucky, bloody lucky or what? 5.04 Numbers, I won't die. And 6 of them which I already know. Things will get exciting.
Sideline, I just scratched my mini again. Damn.
Paintings by the art people.

Poon hoarding Mingyi's board.

A distressed looking Haoyi.

Mun with a funny face again. BZ behind being impatient.

I consider myself brilliant to have captured this one. Kaleni must have been thinking to himself, 'My Days are Over.'

Last Encore
And so 4 years are ending. I honestly thought I did be a more accomplished person when I leave this building. But reality tells me I haven't. Maybe I have become a better person somewhat, just like everyone has. Now that .Reach has been taken down, I guess there will be very little avenues where these memories can be located at. So foolishly, I'm capturing some for myself and everyone down the road.
That's Jason with the guitar. Boey's in the background. Fine Monday morning!

From left: Vice Chairman Poon and Chairman Dong proposing a final final class chalet.

Now, Song doesn't seem impressed.

What a pity! I'm not talking about the class. See that window. Right from this part of the building, we can peek at the UWC people during their PE classes. They do lame stuff like touch rugby, and some rocket throwing nonsence. I don't think the view or angle will be available in the new building. Sigh.

in the story called life
That is what opportunity is about, its there but only some see it. I've decided, I'm not really hard core into certain things anymore, they just do not stand the test of time.
Its time for a change. Let's not make things just for the sake of looking cool, things that are dark and deep to impress. Then there are lessons learnt from 2 years ago, what that is bright but shallow just cannot work. Because you do it with others in mind, you are not reflecting yourself. That is why, you lack a proper foundation and true image called self and personality.
How then forth? Go right, go left. We split paths. That who is left takes the middle. Untrodden and wasted. It is a heavy burden, but the lions are roaring, they just go on living until their bodies are wasted.

reality and truth are hard
Once again, after half a year, I have to admit that I'm on a terrible path to alienating myself. People I once knew around me, are mostly there for the benefit. Now that I have nothing to offer, they have left. Some sway with the wind, childishness of their hearts which I cannot alter externally.
Today, I had a terrible quarrel with someone whom I once thought was a friend. Thinking back, it was more of an ally that I looked for in him. The exact contents of the conflict are irrelevant. But if we get through this time, we may be better friends or allies. But this time, I have to go with my beliefs. What good are your beliefs when you are not true to yourself. Forgive me, I must do what I believe, even if it means forsaking what I have.

Quiet Moment
Keyboard and mouse are oily, not very enjoyable to interface for the time. So where's the vacuum cleaner and oil wipes. I spent the better part of the day editing video, for the ruggers, for the profit, for the hard disk. How practical indeed. Not to mention a lousier than previous year Karaoke competition that had only songs from one singer (JJ Lin is going down manz).
Been trying to persuade the dog to buy a Powerbook or Apple product in the least. That whatever Acer crap is made of cheap plastic and won't run Windows Vista next year anyway. So there, I've been wanting a iBook since 2001 but seems like that won't come true for a long time. Apple media event tonight, wonder what surprises there will be. New powerbook? My hard-disk is chock full to the brim, I'm already below my financial reserves limit, so no new hard-disk purchase option. I do have over 20 DVD+Rs and 40+ CD-Rs, sigh.
I want to be doing photography again, so much more peaceful in stills. But where's the money? This holidays, I'm committed to squeezing even more out of it than last year. There are plans I had for June that did not materialize, like that night rendevous. Mistakes I won't make again. Its time to dictate fate. Some things I did like to do:
1. Experiment with new food recipes (meat and veg varieties, sauces as well)
2. Conduct not 1, but 2 night rendevous photo shoots with group of 5
3. Read at least 1 book (I might ask Karan some recommendations)
4. Watch Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire, eat ramen afterwards
5. Go somewhere above 1500m in elevation where the air is fresh
6. Get a really big monitor
7. Script 3 stories
8. Drawings?

Clarification
I hate it when people do something just because its the trend. It means only one thing, they have got no brains to think. Stupid herd syndrome, but that's how we can make money out of them. SO Please do something because you feel like it and its right.

flying too fast
Its been 2 days since the road ended and we were flung of the cliff into a wide paradise. Didn't mention that Hachi looked like a clown after he dabbed on some water on his hair. He momentarily became the subject everyone's phone cams.
So what about yesterday & today, I can't say I have been pleased with the progress. Yesterday, I had to go renew some documents. Met up with jeffbag and co at the CPL event afterwards. Can't say it was up to expectation at all. Tentage area was so small and so little booths there. And this is an international event?! There was this Starhub ladder climbing game. The darn ladder has a pivot, so it will rotate the moment you climb on, wish I had a cam then. And the prize at stake was this Dlink wireless USB adapter, which was the same prize I was supposed to collect that day but didn't bother. Sigh. Our company took off for dinner afterwards. Had a great time eating a Subway sandwich within BK since I didn't like the long queues at BK. Plus I was brazenly eating under the signage that said no outside foods allowed, l33t. Bought afterwards, got rather pissed when I checked out the DVD. The footage wasn't exactly clearly cut, could see some analog edges. That was until I did some experimenting and found that PowerDVD actually cheats by upping saturation and stuff.
Today, just cleaned out my room this afternoon. Lots of papers and books, they will be in the bin after this month I guess. Been trying some bids for a dual P3 Epox system, but the price the seller is setting is so low that I wonder if its reliable at all.

反思
I guess Bill Pill was right when he said that the holiday begun last Tuesday. Well, this journey will end tomorrow. Its a time of transition and happenings, many events, most sad painful and memorable have been occuring these days. Its just the trend for this time of the year. Whatever doesn't kill us only makes us stronger. But have I really grown? No ideaz.
Today also marks a change of faith for this blog.

Interlude
Who said you could stop? It hasn't ended yet, its not done yet. Fight on, fight the drag, hold the resistence. Throttle past the storm and you will see the horizon. But not before this is all done with.

Creon
Deaths had been happening within the week. First, it had been the Chemistry paper found pinned on the board in the classroom, with red marks scribbled all over it. Then they found the Chemistry teacher in the lab, laying limp over the table. He was dead and no good. A beaker laid shattered behind him, the only mark of a commotion here hours ago. Everyone thought he had went through his head and committed suicide. Family or personal problems? He had none which showed up at all. The only immediate thing that was made known: he had downed a whole litre of HCl. And now, laying in a pool of partially reacted acid, he was but a mess of his own devices, chemicals.
And then just this morning, a Physics paper was found torn and tattered under the table of the Physics representative. The same red scrawlings were all over it. It was in a state that I swear only someone filled to the brim with hate could have performed the deed. Of great interest was the broken diagram of an electrical circuit on the last page of the violated paper. The culprit had left it free of scrawlings, only a big red circle marking surrounded the diagram. True enough, they found the Physics teacher shocked to his death by high voltages in his cubicle. And that explained the blackout this morning which happened amidst the year-end papers.

Deux
It was 2 years after the fateful 9/11 incident. Then, Bali and Madrid were struck, signalling no end to it all. Soon after, in 2003, they struck at Petaling Jaya in KL and eventually City Hall in Singapore. The culprit is amidst us not.
Wild story.

There's a Taiwanese student's spoof on Hitch going around:
http://xomibid4.myweb.hinet.net/8.htm
Makes a good idea for adapation.
Anyways, had another brainwave this morning while going to class. Imaging myself being given directions to walk to class over the phone. Turn left, turn right, you see the stairs? Don't go up, turn left, go on straight. Turn left, shit, sorry sorry, turn right... argh, wth, backtrack backtrack!
Just another random idea.

Limits of Infinity. Dreams are Over.
Its been shocking tonight. The band, Do As Infinity, is dissolving after 6 years. Hints and rumors had been going around, but I didn't think it would be that soon. So, the last concert is in Nov 29. Maybe we have discovered the limits of Infinity. Are the Dreams are Over? No, they will continue separately.
True Song
The red-stained sun has shone on everything,
now and in the past
In the end, will the image written in this darkness
be something that my hands can't carry?
More than you are now, get naked.
Teach me how I can live on.
Dirty me, just a little bit.
That way even if I'm alone, wounded,
having lost all those around me,
the True Song will still flow in my heart.
The struggle will still continue.
No matter what, this is an important time.
We've become reckless and lost something,
like someone's kind smile.
If you know eternity, any darkness
and any pain will eventually fade.
Dirty me like that, now.
Some day we'll arrive
at the castle in the sky I once saw.
We'll follow the True Song.
If you know eternity, any darkness
and any pain will eventually fade.
The True Song flows in my heart.
More than I am now, dirty me.
Just a little bit, dirty me.
We'll follow the True Song.

Pringles These Days

Ever wondered why Pringles tastes like shit these days?

Let's take a closer look..

An ASEAN edition Pringles, Made in Malaysia T.T

Hoho! Let's compare this with a US edition Pringles

Difference in diameter!!
Well, so I bought both home. Of course the US edition tastes better and has more oopphmm. So conclusion: AVOID Malaysian Made Pringles or whatever ASEAN edition crap. They are ripoffs which cost the same as US ones but practically taste like shit and are way smaller.
Stay the course
1 month left till the end.
The ipod mini is now a collector's item, so I'm keeping it for good.

SGH Express Public Service
Maxtor HDD made in Singapore effectively made in Malaysia? Pretty true, since all the workers are mostly Malaysian. Malaysian made stuff must be made by Thai workers I guess or even Indonesian. If that's the case, maybe China made stuff is better. Got this from nilnainam's blog, great topic for SGH Express.

Yet Another Test
What a fruitful day spent at the library, doing math and stuff. Tmr, I'll head for the National Library as well.
| Outcast Genius 52 % Nerd, 56% Geek, 56% Dork |
| For The Record: A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia. A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one. A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions. You scored better than half in all three, earning you the title of: Outcast Genius. Outcast geniuses usually are bright enough to understand what society wants of them, and they just don't care! They are highly intelligent and passionate about the things they know are *truly* important in the world. Typically, this does not include sports, cars or make-up, but it can on occassion (and if it does then they know more than all of their friends combined in that subject). Outcast geniuses can be very lonely, due to their being outcast from most normal groups and too smart for the room among many other types of dorks and geeks, but they can also be the types to eventually rule the world, ala Bill Gates, the prototypical Outcast Genius. Congratulations! Architecting the Powerhouse
People are going to hate me for this, especially those that have their systems built for by me. Today, I'm happy to announce the new flagship and mother of all systems that I have built and christened.
It started with a casual comment by Soon Kai months ago about a replacement system for his Pentium 3 although he uses a P4 3.0ghz with HT that was commissioned about 2 years ago with a Radeon 9700. Now, that system has lasted for 2 years, and by modern day specifications, is still in the middle class. Not bad for 2 years of fast paced technology.
Moving on to today, we have PCI-E, dual cores, dual SLIs, dual channel DDR whatever. So the theme for this new system is Dual Infinitus. Ok, its not infinity, but in basic sense a Duallie as most parts are working in tandem with an identical twin.
Cut the bullshit, specs specs..
AMD A64 X2 4200 + Abit A8N-nf4 $1045 (Fuwell)
Inno3d 6800GT 256MB $599 (Bell)
2X PC3200 Twinmos CL3 1GB 2X$189 (Fuwell)
2X WD SATA2 200GB JB 2X$172 (Fuwell)
Antec Sonata2 $229 (Fuwell)
Total: $2650 I think, some discounts here and there.
Heck, if you are Ben Chia, you must be thinking NPNT!! But you are wrong, GPCT!! Pix bombardment as follows:

Building blocks of a powerhouse.

Preparing Abit AN8 + AMD X2 4200+ Manchester for initial mount. The nforce4 chipset is actually heatpipe cooled. Let's take a closer look!!

X2 chip basking in all its glory. This is a Manchester core, 2.2ghz per core with 1088kb combined cache.

X2 baby in its rightful cradle. Snuffy.

Mounting 2X WD 200GB for RAID0 400GB

Dual SATA connection, clean arrangement

Here comes the Antec Sonata2!

Hoho! the geforce 6800GT is out of the box!

Sure will kick some ass.

Covering over the board with an exhaust air chute

sleek... the server feel

Before we end, the certificate of authenticity. Done.
