Cowgirl Eden

It's Rodeo Time!  My cute cowgirl got to dress up for school and participate in the hoe-down!

Eden the Artist Strikes Again!

Eden had one of her pieces of artwork selected to be on display at one of the school's district offices.  It is entitled, "Isabella the Bug"

Sisters

These sisters love to be together.  Sage misses Eden all day long while she is at school, so when Eden has homework to do, Sage is right there.  I'm glad they love to be together.

The Heart Ball

Daniel has been working on a project with the Texas Heart Institute and because of all his hard work, we got invited to go the Heart Ball this year.  I had to find a formal dress and Daniel had to find a tuxedo!  It was a pretty exciting event and we had never done anything like it.  The girls thought that it was so amazing that we were going to a "ball".  They wanted desperately to come with us :)  Aunt Kaysha and Uncle Kaelan came down for the weekend so Kaysha could do my hair and makeup and then they babysat the girls for us.  We had a wonderful time.  I've never felt so fancy :)

Sage the Builder

Sage is a master of all things mechanical.  If it can be put together or taken apart, she will figure out how it works.  She got a cool bag of "Connectagons" for Christmas and we had a fun morning building an entire sea village on day after Eden had gone back to school.

Eden the Artist

Eden's favorite thing to do is draw.  Most days she wakes up for school, gets dressed, and heads to her art desk.  And she is also there a lot after school, and usually her backpack is filled with little creations she has made AT school.  The girl loves art.  These are a few favorites that I happened to capture:  Q-bert (from Wreck It Ralph), a whole poster of assorted fairies, and step by step instructions on how to draw a flower :)

All About Sage

Sage got to make a poster all about herself and present it to her class at preschool.  We all helped her put her favorite pictures on the poster and then Daniel and I got to watch her talk about it at school (poor Eden had to be at Kindergarten ;) )  She did such a great job and loved being the center of attention.
