GOAL!
Roughly a 2-hr show... saying a young Mexican kid Santiago Murez growing up in LA (illegal immigrant) pursuing his dreams in playing soccer (football) as a professional as he has the talent & heart for it. And he had a chance to prove himself @ Newcastle United & he grabbed the chance despite his father's disapproval! His journey was not an easy one... But faith & support that Glen (he's the one who discovered Santiago) had on him, guided & helped him thru this most difficult period of time. Santiago is really a good guy... innocent & hardworking young guy who give thoughts to what he inspires to be & put his best into it. His dare to dream & determination paid off... & this show really have a lot of great footballers appearances! Of course my idol David Beckham!! =D The Newcastle team, Raul, Zidane, glispe of Lampard, Gerrad, etc... Kinda like this show though this ending is expected but it's nice to have this conclusion... will it have Goal 2?? maybe the next one can talk abt how he's improving, becoming famous, moving on to bigger clubs perhaps?

Project Superstar
Oh my god!! My favourite contestant Hong Junyang is voted out!! Can't believe it man!! the moment i heard the result i went: "Oh no!!!" (stunned, jaw dropped)... and this made me super wide awake & tears rolling (din cry lah...) Argh!! SO SAD!!! Kinda kept me awake from my sleep (partly becos of my bro watching the tape of Female Finals - tv volume considered loud @ night u know)... in the end he finished watch the Female Finals & the result show & i still can't get to sleep!! haiz... zai chuan shang fang lai fu qu... =\ i was even prepared to buy JY's single of Tong Hua!! Cos he really sang it very well!! it's difficult to sing a song with your own style well esp when the original version is already v popular... he did well on that... the same goes to Shi Xin Hui's version of Yi Shi de Mei Hao... I even preferred her's to Angela's original version... maybe cos Angela sing a bit high... =p Hopefully i can lay my hands on the *.mp3 of both songs... like Sly's I Dream... Opps... =X

Hi pplz! i'm back! lolx... been super busy for weeks! finally over with some hectic work... able to slow things down for just a few days & next week will have to be back for business... but first... let me back date a little... HAPPY 40TH BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!! ????!! haha... great fireworks show this year! & there's some more going on tomorrow! Will be going to catch it! =) Hopefully it's not crowded!
And... the English Premier League is back for the new season! haha... *no wonder i'm home... =XxX First match up is Everton vs Man Utd!!! Pray hard that Man U get to a good start this season!! Can't wait to catch it @ 8pm!! =D And hope Chelsea will lose its first match!! Abit impossible but I want them to lose!! =p

Went to saloon to do something to my hair... lolx... it's been quite some time... finally decided to kept my hair long so asked my hairdresser to trim & straighten my hair... so behind wun qiao qiao... heez... and guess who i saw? Pei Lin! -_-" her last day on Fri & next day i saw her... alamak... she was buying some goodies @ Cold Storage while i was on my escalator up... think she din saw me... *phew =P haiz... tml got to work again le... sat & sun really very fast man... *me thinking to taking leave... ^-^p

It's great to meet up with friends... spent some quality time together... heart to heart talks... enjoying ourselves with games & food... though that means spending $$$... =/ but it feels good... especially after a tough week + a predicted tougher days to come... =p hopefully i could apply leave next fri... keep my fingers crossed... =)
Went bowling @ Marina Sq today... lolx... too long never play... kept washing the drain... =p @ least 2nd game better... but still below 100pts... =XxX then went over to play arcade... Daytona & Time Crisis 3... heez... play until hand now v suan... but the gun for the Time Crisis not fun... certain part of the screen cannot shoot... still prefer playing @ PS or suntec... next time i wanna try playing the basketball... heez... =p played pool too... taught jp & mel to play... not bad sia... beginning to get the hand of it... scardi next time play better than me le... =X had dinner @ Swensen's... ate the Beef Turnaround (Summer Promo)... comes with soup, coke/sprite & 1 scoop of ice-cream w/o additional charges... =D the beef not bad... walked ard... shop shop... chit chat abt guys... lolx... good to stay single man... =p

Heez... went back to look for my ex-boss... good to see them having good sales @ the same area... and surprisingly this yr Pretz Chili Cha Cha flavour still have stock on the last day... =p grabbed a few boxes of course!! heez... kinda miss them... went ard n got some sugar rolls from Polar Puffs & Cakes... they even sell goat milk... but i din try it... scared later diarroea... hahaha!!!

(that was what my friend analysed... a future teacher u know...) =XxX but it's true... however different ppl will have different views of the movie... heez... well... a tamed lion becomes wild? or a wild gets tamed? which is better? u judge... by the end of the day, a lion is still a lion... =p i dunno wad i writing... lolx... go watch it... $9.50 a bit ex... watch selectively...

Hmm... went to Creative Warehouse Sale with Kim & Junjie... din really have anything in mind to buy... juz see see... & the speakers caught my eye... lolx... tot of getting one for my lappy... $59 a bit ex for speakers?? heez... next time perhaps... =X
then to Sim Lim Square... cos Kim looking for a Mp3Player... & i dun understand y the shop owner insists on cash payment... he says is becos of the 1% charge... *duh... wad's e diff between $1.70 & $0.30 charge??? =_="
Howl's Moving Castle
Kinda nice to hear Takuya Kimura's voiceover for the male lead Howl... heez... a wonderful ending wif *huh* to explain for a few of e characters... lolx... but basically i kinda like the Calcifier (e fire in the mov)... cute & funny... and with amazing power too... to protect the castle & keep it moving... it ain't like a demon fire tat he claimed to be actually... hahaha~ A beautiful fire indeed... ^-^

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unofortunate Events
Hmm... based on a storybook... heez... e scenes @ some moments feels kinda slow... but there's twists in e next moment... Jim Carrey is the man behind the Mask... and so is he in this series of unfortunate events... and i simply love the 3 kids... 1 invents, 1 reads & remember and the other bites almost everything... and once they combine their intelligence & work together... its really amazing... =) not a bad movie...

The theatre is filled with all kinds of laughters... hahaha!! not only its an animation, light-hearted mov... it has a beautiful meaning behind it... which all age groups should go catch it! i luv the characters... especially the teapot (forgot wad's his name) that Ronney invented... lolx... so creative... funny n cute... hahaha~! all pplz out there!! go catch it!! bring ur kids, friends n family to the cinema now~! bez is watch in digital theatres... =XxX

Queensway Shopping Spree
Heeheez... actually not exactly spree lah... only bought an Adidas shoes... haha~ kid's size wor~ for me u know... simply luv the design... no choice cos they never come out in adult sizes... amazingly i can fit into the biggest kid's size 2!! wahahaha~!! and it's in a very nice cool red... =D and the indian lady boss is very nice & polite... very good price too!! $79 but i prepared to pay $68 (sha jia)... she er hua bu shuo... "give me $65 will do..." kekeke... =D

Dropped by JT's family biz... location not bad lah... last time worked @ Standard Chartered for part of the attachment also went there to eat... nice pineapple juice... not very sweet =) next time i shall try the sugarcane`

FYI, the steamboat there no longer halal... they say that customers request for pork... me had a lot of prawns... keke... i think i prefer Seoul Garden but SG is alot more expensive (pocket big hole!!)... had seafood, fried wanton, fishballs, cheese hotdogs, fried chicken wing, sotongs, "hams", satay chicken, chilli chicken, soya sauce chicken, & tom yam soup!! wootz... not to mention starfruit n icecream` YummY!! Then its pool time... wahaha... supa long time never play... first 2 hits white ball go into hole... the most impt shot for black ball white ball go in with e black... alamak... kekeke... but kinda fun... =) & thanks Terence for dropping me @ Tanjong Pagar`... tot tat it wld be a longer ride than tat... haha` arigato!!

My Brother
A very touching show... I cried... tears rolled not once, not twice, but a few times... din take out tissue from my bag cos dun wan to miss a single part of the movie... and of course my idol Won Bin... this gangster brother do care for his bro & family... but in his own way... *sobz... i recommend this mov if you wanna cry... 4 out of 5

A three-hour movie... wad do u expect?? Leonardo DiCaprio won Best Actor in the Grammy Awards for this movie... and is nominated for the same category @ the Oscar... so wad else to look for? of course is the story of Howard Hudges!! and the determination (or is it talent within himself) to fulfil his dreams? erm... may get abit annoyed with his personality... but nonetheless a good show... 4 out of 5
