Euro 2004 Quarter Finals Match 1: Portugal vs England

England lose out after going ahead in just 3 mins from kick-off, goal scored by Owen. Rooney had to go off due to an injury sustained. Portugal equalised with 7 mins remaining thru Postiga and hence, the match goes into Extra-time (ET), under the SILVER goal rule - if any side scores 1st in e 1st half of ET, both teams will still play to e end of e half (15mins). Before that, Campbell had a goal disallowed n this denied England their chance of entering the Semi-Final. Portugal managed to grap a goal early in e 2nd half of ET thru Rui Costa BUT England fought back strongly n Lampard put them back to go on to penalties.

tat's y tonight they got a function... lolx... Roger funny sia... came in wif a polo tee... so casual... but he brought 5 shirts (3 white, 1 dark blue, 1 pink, 1 light blue) n 3 ties (1 red, 1 dark blue, another one forgot le =X) stunned when i see so many shirts... i tot only drama serials got ppl like this... hahaha~ he got his team to help him choose... so he happily changed into e chosen light blue shirt... when it comes to e tie... lolx... none matched! most liked e red tie... so in e end he hab to go n change into a white shirt... lolx... had a gd laugh =p (of course is those "amm qio" - ang di li xiao lah)... if not i die... hahaha!!

2nd day of temp work @ Robert Walters (S) Pte Ltd... hmm... env't quite nice... can hear alot of different country's slang... lolx... sometimes can't understand them... they talk quite softly but some @ e other end can hear wad they said... bez... i sit near them also din make out wad they said... my hearing got prob liao??? X_x so far so gd... only today see com for too long le i think... abit blur blur, head a bit giddy, n eyes tired... @_@ lolx... switching windows here n there... maybe tml start to tou lan abit bit... =p

4A Gathering
lolx... had dinner @ Suntec Marche... a very early dinner... =p only 12 turned up... 9 from e gals side (Koh Yan Yan, Meifen, Heriza, Sin Nee, Aw-Yeong Yan Yan, Chean Chia, Kim, Jing Pei n ME~) n 3 guys (Jeremy Chia, Winston n Jeremy Tan)... lolx... a litte pathetic but still fun~ heez... got agenda somemore... Tanglin's 40th Anniversary... lolx.. pengz... had some drinks @ Fusion i think... =p n we chit chatted... it felt good talking to them... knowing more... all e funny memories we had together as a class n how the others were doing~ =) still early? zoom down to Holland Village's Wala Wala to hab Hoegardens... a kind of beer? *shrugz... JC recommended... quite nice... not v bitter =p listened to e band playing there... eh... songs n environment (minus e smoking part) are acceptable... except tat it's crowded... n u'll haf difficulty hearing urself inside... but it's normal~ heez... =D`

hmm... had a haircut @ Tiong Bahru Plaza's SuperCuts this afternoon... now hair ard neck length... not too short... =)

watched The Day After Tomorrow @ GV Marina with Jun Jie... a great show indeed... all e effects... e coldness conquered the whole theatre... *shiver... air-con strong or?? leave it to ur imagination... the story? wooo~ stunning!! breath-taking!! absolutely astonishing... touched... sad @ parts... moral of e story... dun take things for granted... learn to trust... learn from mistakes... keep ur promises, no matter what... "his son is in Manhattan..." :~)

ate lunch @ Sun Lok Noodle House inside Jurong Entertainment Centre... a lot of ppl today... dunno y... maybe tat's y e service today is super poor... how i wished can dun gib e 10% service charge... ordered e food majiam din order... hab to ask then go check then e food come... haikz... but e food there nice... took e Sliced Pig Liver Noodles... not v hard... nice...` heez...

watched Troy together wif mum @ JE Theatre 6, 3pm show... e theatre super small... quite empty... keke... a lok kok place =XxX maybe they can consider charging $5 like those @ Clementi... lolx... but still alot of kids... think all catching Harry Potter... the show is nice... with all e beautiful n handsome actresses n actors... e story abit absurd but yet true? revenge... yuan yuan xiang bao he shi liao...? but kinda cute when they r having war... can stand ard n see Hector fight wif "Achilles"... respect e enemy tat e King of Troy can go to camp n take back his son... how true can tat be? kinda sad when Hector had to fight Achilles... and yes... orlando bloom definitely looks better wif bow + arrows then sword... n who's tat guy tat Paris pass e sword of Troy to...? tat guy quite handsome too... hahaha~ =p i like Eric Bana in his Hector character... such a nice guy... dun deserve to die... *tsk tsk...

woke up early in e morning 0830hrs to help Clara to record NBA Finals - Piston vs Lakers - Game 1... it started late wor... @ ard 0900... tot i switched e wrong channel... hate watching it LIVE actually... too many stopages cos of e time-outs... in e end doze to sleep on e sofa... but woke up each quarter to look @ e scores... Lakers performance not so good today... kana marked tightly n hitting e rim when they shoot... thus trailing for e whole match n lost in e end... e opposition team, on the other hand, is doing everything rite...

arranged to meet Kim n Desmond to go take measurements for our NDP uniform @ Geylang East... hmmz... not bad lah... waited for them from 1430 to 1530hrs @ Singapore Post Centre's Coffee Bean... lolx... lucky got my story book n good Mocha Ice Blended to accompany me... if not i'll be bored to death man... =p actually quite bo liao leh... go there specially to take chest n waist measurements n can go off le... go in not even 10 mins sia... dunno y they need to measure... use those normal S-M-L sizes can le mah... make ppl go all e way down... =
went Orchard jalan jalan... kino is a must place to go... lolx... but no new comics for me to buy... too bad... then took bus 14 to Queensway n walked to IKEA with mum, dad n bro to see e cupboards tat me n bro targeted... but dinner first~ kekeke... mum ate 3 Chicken Wings, dad got himself a plate of Poached Salmon, bro had the Today's Recommendation - Oyster Sauced Chicken with Rice + 2 Chicken Wings n me makan e Roasted Beef + 1 Chicken Wing... also ordered Swedish Meatballs to share~ lolx... i think all e different kind of food sold there r on our table~ kekeke... the roasted beef n meatballs were good... the chicken wing is still e best~ lolx... then went to purchase e cupboard but in e end hab to come another day (again) cos the height to long le... 202cm... cannot fit into e car... hab to pay extra $40 if wan them to deliver to our house... not worth... so intend to borrow lorry/pick-up to fetch it home~ kekeke... hab to make another trip down again... lalala... =p

drove home today... biang... so paiseh... on way out hab to insert e cashcard to make payment... too far from e machine... hab to take out seatbelt n open door... haikz... bro say me... dun drive nearer... =_=" argh...

Car broke down... no air-con so accompanied bro to sent car to garage for repair... had meat porridge wif mum, dad n bro @ Alexandra Village @ ard 11am... after tat went over to IKEA while waiting for e car... wanted to get a cupboard so looked around... had a few in mind n wanted to come home to find out e measurements whether can fit in a not... had a bowl of Cream of Mushroom with bun n butter n 1 chicken wing for lunch ard noon @ e "restaurant" inside IKEA cos my aunt worked there... quite full... =p e chicken wing there is nice~!! 6 for $5/- highly recommended... next time should try e meatballs there... cos like a lot of ppl eating those...

reached home around 2pm... dunno y very tired... went to sleep till ard 7pm then wake up... pengz... slept like pig sia... now still feel like sleeping... got slight headache... =\

Oh boy oh boy... i'm torturing my feet aren't i... first is e 6 days of standing @ expo... today is e tiring but quite worthwhile treasure hunt of my spac2go expedition... let me tell u my amazing walking route... from west coast park, we set off towards Telok Blangah Hill Park... yes... Telok Blangah... all by foot~ muz find e Terrace Garden... wah biang... e slopes tat we haf to climb really kills me seh... but lucky e scenery there is nice... can see whole of Singapore in 360-degree turn... well... tat's wad our clue says... not exactly whole i guess... din waste my trip to accompany n support my juniors in their expedition... =) but still... too much walking!! next stop is Kent Ridge Park... another park which haf slopes... *duh... maybe tat's y there's beautiful views of Singapore... need some altitute to see... then walked down to Haw Par Villa... there changed a lot again... now can't even see e dragon head anymore... n then back to west coast park... will upload e pics to My Photos soon... worse is to come~! when we got back... my feet r having blisters! 2 already po le... pain sia... then realised tat under my left foot (jiao di) also got blister... smallest toe also got... pengz... hab difficulty to walk sia... @ Poly Marina, while waiting for e other grp to come back... pengz... literally feeding e mosquitoes there man!! my right leg kana 7 in a row~!!! supa itchy sia... finally lay my hands on Irene's wu bi gao... it helped... head for home also haf to walk a distance out to Ginza Plaza there to pass Kim her bks she left wif me yesterday... *shakes head... leg cramp sia... =\ bro ask me wanna drive out for dinner... i ask him to drive... lolx... got blister mah... =p my poor legs... will rest them for e night... =X

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
caught it wif Kim, Lester n Leroy... haha~ funny @ parts n some confusing scenes... haf e black riders from LOTR? wolf from Van Helsing? lolx... weird... wad remains were e fascinating transformation of ppl to animals, e wizard commands, e moving paintings... kekeke... but there r some irritating ppl... me sat beside stairway... many ppl going in & out, up & down... sian... maybe toilet break... tat one still can understand... forgetting to switch off hp or to silent mode... still can hear "u haf 1 message received...", "i told u to switch it to silent mode..." kicking my seat... calling "Darren" aloud in e show... dunno wad e person doing...

before catching e show, went to Suntec City Book Fair... this yr quite empty... tot can get some comics @ Chuang Yi over there... but they only got English comics on sale... was trying to locate kim's itp co booth... finally found @ SP22... saw Karen over there... kekeke... too bad e bks over there not suitable for me... kekeke... e level of e chinese bks like v chim... i read e comic cheng yu bk tat kim n her friends did for their itp till dunno like wad... pengz... aha... Lester n Leroy were amazed @ e magic rings... how it was actually attached together n then seperated with ease... saw this trick quite long before... but never really went to find out wad's behind it... keke... went on discussing it... all e funny n weird suggestions coming out... =XxX

after Harry Potter went to makan @ Kenny Rogers... treated both Lester n Leroy cos they (including all who pia together) really took great care of us during the Food Festival @ Expo~ really muz thank them~ heez... ;) made a dedication but dun think they read it because of time restrictions... went N.Y.D.C. for desserts... got myself a iced chocolate milk elephanccino... such a big bottle... no wonder called elephant... *burp

time flies man... 6 days of working @ Singapore Expo, Food Festival gonez juz like tat... really had a great deal of fun though there r some consequences... like my toes being numb n unfeeling till now... n voice almost lost... almost only... not yet i hope... =XxX

enjoyed working wif Lester's family n friends... lolx... of cos got kim too~ (*muz mention her... if not she "complain" again~ hahaha!!! =xXx) bet will miss e chats n food n jokes n lots more... aha~ battles between Pokka? getting lots of bottles of drinks frm them... in exchange of our Prez sticks n prunes of cos... shi shang mei you mian fei de wu cang ma... lolx... in e end who won i also dunno... =p n i'll definitely miss da jie's daughter~ she's so cute~ think her name is Germaine... heeheez... @ least she call me jie jie... not like SOMEBODY... =pPp sweet memories indeed~!! =D 1st time to Expo leh~ lolx... =p
