Bridge In Monet's Garden
Page 27 is completed.
This project is so much more vibrant in person that in this picture. I can see the end of the tunnel as I only have 8 more pages to do. Just to put this in perspective each page except for 7, 14, 21, 28 and 35 has 3780 stitches. Pages 7, 14, 21, 28 and 35 have 1820 stitches. That is a heck of a lot of stitches.

29 Years Ago Today
My sweet Bob and I got married.
Today he went out to buy some potting soil and came home with
Here is what the card says inside. I actually cried when I read it.
I could never thank you enough
for everything you do
and for all the ways
you're such a wonderful wife.
But on our anniversary,
I want you to know
how much I appreciate you
and that I love you
with all my heart.
We have spent the last week trying to clean out his Aunt's apartment. It has been such a big job. We still have to donate her car and go through all the boxes we brought home. Today we spent the day cleaning a large piece of furniture we brought home and re-arranging our family room to make it fit. We still don't have it completely back together but we are well on our way. We are both so tired we don't know witch end is up.
We are on our way out to dinner for our anniversary. Hope the food is good at Woodside Inn. We use to go there once in a while but they closed because the building was structurally unsound. It has since been repaired and re-opened.
I love my wonderful husband and I am so glad he feels the same way about me.

Another Christmas ornament is ready to go to the finisher
I finished stitching this ornament yesterday afternoon while watching a hockey game. GO FLYERS!!!!!!!!
Now off to pick the fabric and pull the floss for my last Christmas ornament for the Great Nieces/Nephew for 2014. I am glad they are almost finished. Don't laugh but I already have the ornaments for 2015 picked out. I saw them on 123stitch and they are on my long, long, long wish list.
Yesterday Bob and I went out and picked the stone for our new countertop ad tiles for the backsplash. What a chore. I am amazed that we actually agreed. They will start the installation on May 12th and it will be finished in 2 weeks. I can't wait to see it all come together. After picking all the out we went and purchased a new dining set for our patio.
We had some sad news this past week. Bob's aunt passed away after suffering with liver cancer for the past couple of months. She would have been 91 on April 22nd. I feel so bad as we didn't even know she was ill. I will never understand why her friend didn't call us to let us know.

Bridge In Monet;s Garden Update & more
I finished page 26 of Bridge in Monet's Garden last night. Took me almost 2 months to finish this one page. Only 9 more pages to go.
I also finished the stitching on another Christmas ornament. Yes I stitched this before but it is on a different fabric and I think it stands out much more on this one. It is on its way to Faye with Waiting and Watching to be finished.

Back from the finisher
I decided that the Christmas ornaments I make this year for my Great nieces/nephew I want finished by someone who does a really good job.
So I sent the 1st 2 to the Carolina Stitcher (Faye). Got them back earlier this week and I just love them. I will be sending the next 2 once I finish the one I am stitching now. She added a tree charm to the back of each finish. It just adds that little something special to each ornament.
I am stitching Plum Pudding Needle Art for the 2nd time since I think it is so cute and I love the way Faye finished it. It won't matter because I will give one to a GN that lives in Oregon and the other to a GN that lives in North Carolina. They will never compare notes.
Have an awesome weekend.
