Notes:  I really don't like stitching Quakers.  I am so glad I didn't buy the other 3 seasons in this series.

I should be finished with Page 4 of Monet's Irises by the end of the month.  I have less than 200 stitches and it will be done.  Then on to page 5.  Very slow going, however I have been stitching 100+ stitched per day the last couple of days. 

Prairie Schooler Finish

 I have finished Prairie Schooler April.  Now to send it to Keepsakes to have it finished into a Flat Fold.  They have done a really good job on the other 2 I send to them.  With April I am half finished with the year.  I have stitched January, February, March, April, May, and October.  January and May I have framed and they hang up all year since they are our birth months.

I wasn't going to stitch the bottom row of flowers, but I am sure glad I did.  I also picked the wrong color for the flowers but no one will know the difference.  I had 2 of them completed before I realized what I had done and frogging 1 over 1 is a real pain.

I stitched my 1st 2027 Christmas Ornament

 Yes, you read that right.  I have stitched enough ornaments that I have 6 for 2025 and 6 for 2026 stitched.  I turn 80 in 2027, so I have decided that is the last year I am going to stitch Christmas ornaments for the Grands.  So, the 2027 ornaments are going to have Merry Christmas on the front and To all a good night the end on the back.  Anyway, I finished one.  I am not sure if I am going to make them all the same Merry Christmas design yet.  I am going to send them to either Faye, The Carolina Stitcher or Keepsakes to have them finished.

I continue to stitch on Primrose Cottage Autumn Quaker, Prairie Schooler April and Irises.  All 3 are slow stitching.  Hopefully I will have April finished by the end of January.

December Stitching

 HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I have a tough time wishing Happy New Year.  I think 2025 is going to be a disaster for the United States.  Enough said....

I have 4 WIP that I worked on in December.  One start and finish which I posted in an earlier post so I will not repeat it here.

The first picture is Irises.  I am working on page 4 of 12.  Next is Prairie Schooler Songs of the Seasons Santa Claus is Comin' to Town.  I started this and May and just haven't given it the time it deserves.  Next is Primrose Cottage Autumn Quaker.  I have decided that I really dislike stitching Quakers.  I make to many mistakes, and they just aren't fun.  The last is Prairie Schooler April.  I would really like to work on this until it is finished.  However, I am afraid that if I do that I will leave Irises in it's project bag and it will never get finished.  I do want to finish Irises sooner rather than later.  That is what I have been working on in the month of December.
