At the rate I am stitching Bridge in Monet's Garden it will take me 3 years.  I love watching it grow before my eyes.  I have a feeling that once it starts getting really hot I will have to limit the time I stitch on it.  Even folded up and pinned to stay that way it is very warm having all that fabric in my lap especially the last couple of days when it has been in the 80s here in SE Pennsylvania.

Happy Easter

I wish all who take time to read my little blog a very Happy Easter.  May this special day remind us all that life is special and that God plays the most important part of making it special for us each and every day.

Bob and I are going to my sisters for Easter dinner.  I am taking a cheese cake which I made yesterday and a blueberry pudding cake which I will make as soon as Bob gets up.  I don't like to bang things around in the kitchen while he is sleeping.

Peace and love to you.

A finish and more pictures of Bridge in Monet's Garden WIP

DH was telling his supervisor at work about my Bridge in Monet's Garden and she wanted to see some pictures.  So I took a picture of what it will look like when finished and a couple of my progress so far to send to him so he could show her.  She does counted cross stitch also, and it was my inspiration that got her started.  I just found out a year or so ago that it was because of me that she started stitching.    So here are the pictures that I took and sent to DH at work.  I also finished stitching another patriotic ornament last night for the ornament tree.

This is a picture of what Bridge in Monet's Garden will look like when I finish is

A picture of the fabric that I am stitching Bridge in Monet's Garden on
I realized when I was folding it back up that I hadn't unfolded it all.
The overall design is 25' by 24.5"

Using a ruler this is what I have stitched in about 3 weeks

Stitching for this week

Just wanted to post mu progress on Bridge in Monet's Garden, a San Man Original almost finish (I need some star buttons for it) and a gift I received in the mail the other day from Sarah from KYKrossStitchers.

I got my mail the other day and much to my surprise this
cute little ornament was sent to me by Sarah from KYKrossStitchers.
I immediately put it on my ornament tree and it looks lovely.

SanMan Originals - USA Ornament.
I need to get some red, white, and blue star buttons and then finish it into
an ornament for my ornament tree.

This is the progress on Bridge in Monet's Garden.
I am now half finished with the 1st page.
I love seeing all the pretty blues and purples.  Good thing
as there will be lots of blues and purples.

Today I am going to pull some floss and work on another patriotic ornament.  I need to get some done soon for the tree.  It will be Memorial Day before I know it.

I got a call this morning from my LNS to say the 2 projects I took for framing are ready.  I know one of them is the Lizzie Kate Christmas I did for Shirley.  I can't for the the life of me remember what the other one was.  I will be suprised when I pick it up.  Called Shirley to tell her they are ready for pickup so we will go next Friday and stop at the Tea Room for lunch. Can I wait a whole week to pick them up.  I am so childish when it comes waiting.  I am like a little kid on Christmas morning.  Oh well that is the way I have always been so I don't think I am going to change at this time of my life.   I will take the Quaker Welcome I finished the other week to get that framed.

Bridge In Monet's Garden WIP and a few Christmas Ornament Finishes

I have been working on Bridge in Monet's Garden but it is really slow going.  This morning I ordered a Needle Park from 123 Stitch so I don't have to keep threading and un-threading my needle with every color change.
