DH's Birthday

Today is my sweeties birthday.  We are going out to dinner tonight to PF Chang's.  I gave him his birthday gift this morning but he didn't have time to open it.  Only some airplane books he asked for.

Other than that nothing happening in my life.  One good thing is this coming weekend is a 3 day weekend with it being Memorial Day.  We have been invited to my sister's for a cookout on Sunday.  I need to call her and see what she wants me to bring.  I also have to cook a good dinner for Bob this weekend for his birthday.  He wants Pork Tenderloin in Green Pepper Sauce.  He seems to ask for the same thing every year.  lol it is the only time I make it.

It is now 7 months until December 23rd  -  only 215 days.

I seem to be frogging more than I am stitching so far this week.  I found a big mistake in the LK Easter Flit-it and had to frog, frog, frog.  I have everything frogged and part of it restitched.  That is my morning project so I don't work on it a long.  I will have to put it away on June 1st so I can work on the next Christmas ornament for my sister.  I do have the June ornament started so hopefully it won't take a long time to finish it.  I am working on PS Christmas a little every night.

Friday the Curves I have been going to for about 4 years or so is closing.  Yesterday I went and signed up at Lady of America.  I don't think I am going to like it as well as Curves but I am stuck going there for the next year.  Maybe I will be wrong and love it.  It just seemed so loud when I was there yesterday after work.

OK this is enough of my boring life for today.

My WIPs as of today

The 1st pictutre is of Lizzie Kate's Easter Flip-it.  I am stitching this for my oldest Sister who wants it made into a no-sew cube. It is being stitched on 14 count aida from Sassy's Fabric French Vanilla.   The 2nd picture os of PS Christmas Village.  I am pleased with my progress on this, though I find it a bit tideous with all the shades of browns and greens.  It will be beautiful when I am finished.

Nothing else of note is happening in my life.  As of today I have 7 months until I retire on December 23rd.

Today is

our 25th wedding anniversary.  DH and I went into Philadelphia on Sundayto the US Constitution center.  We spent ahout an hour there before we had to leave for our dinner reservations at PARC Restaurant.  We got a late start so we couldn't spend much time at the Constitution Center.  I would like to go back when we have lots of time but I won't hold my breath.  The dinner at PARC was good.  B had a Pate for an appetizer and I had Wild Mushroom Soup.  Both really good.  We both ahd Duck Confit for the main course which was very good and then we shared an order of Profidarolles for desert.  They were good also.  Tonight we are going to Craft Ale House for mussels.  YUMMMM I can't wait.

No-Sew-Cube and PS Christmas Village Progress

Here is my progress on PS Christmas Village as of last night.  It has been slow as I have been making mistakes and having to frog. I love the birds.Lizzie Kate Valentine Flip-It.  I stitched this a couple of years ago and finally decided to make into a No-Sew Cube.  I think the bow kind of over powers the stitching and the cube.
