Sun was a long but great day.

Morning went to deco for bb joash's bb shower.

Then after tt went eat shop eat then movie with jan and Rena.

We went to watch pacy Jackson - sea of monsters.

I was watching the front part of the movie and it showed about a prophecy of a person who would save the world.

My thoughts was many people wish to be that hero that was appointed to save the world; to be that someone great. But if we were to fulfil our calling in our life, won't we also be a hero in our area of life; fulfilling what we were called to do?

On my way to learn fishing!

Haa! I've ever went fishing once. But I don't really count that as learning fishing. Cos I only swing the rod to cast baits into water. But the rest are done by others.

I hope it's different this time. I'm at my new project and I have staffs who loves fishing. It is always good to meet new people.

Seriously, I'm happy to be a Singaporean. Call me patriotic, but yes, I'm really happy and proud of our progression.

Happy 48th National Day Singapore!!!

And what have I been doing on that day?

Doing the next most patriotic thing; having BBQ and watch NDP!

And had steambath at Jpot before that. Haa! Happy day, but spend a lot!

Heard JJ Lin Jun Jie's new songs on you tube. So tempted to sing. His latest album is really different from the rest of the past ones. Good, people must change and be mature. Lol! Am proud that he is a Singaporean too!

Saw his recent news that he confessed his love for Hebe Tian Fu Zhen. I'm not sure if she will like him. But it seems she is slowly falling in love with him, even uses him as dang jian pai. Hahaha! Opposite compliments and attracts. Hoping the best for them. =D

She wanted to take time off yesterday but I told her to take urgent leave. Then she ask if she can take time off cos last friday she stay late. Wa... I got angry lo.. Every morning she late 15 to 20 mins I haven't count in and she want to take advantage of that. I told was being on the safe side when I told her she was late 10 to 15 mins every morning. I think she is angry. Ok la.. Was her reply. I ignore. A while later she say thanks and sorry. Haiz..

In the evening yesterday I text siti again to ask how is her dad. Say better. But still have to observe. Earlier blood pressure and heart beat unstable. I can understand. Told her to take another day off if need. Glad she appreciate it.

This is the first time i entered a photo contest. Well, saw it on South East CDC FB on nature.

And here it is.

But why i wrote this.. hmm.. whenever i go to Changi Beach and look across, i always feel there is a simpler and rural life, alway from the city, from all the modern, stressful buildings..

There is a nature, simple relaxing life at that corner. =)

* Tuesday, July 17, 2012 *
Its 4.43am on 17 July 2012 and here I am blogging at this kind of wee hours.

It is not because i can't sleep. Actually, i just woke up. lol! It feels GREAT to have 7 straight hours of uninterrupted sleep!

It has been quite a well rested day compared to the past few weeks.

The past few weeks have been.. hmm.. won't consider it heatic, but busy.

Working full time but having a business of my own.

Recently i had been busy as a new project came in. Well, this new project was rather special because in as much as it was still cleaning to their house, they only need people for sweeping leaves at their driveway and clearing the rubbish. Actually, I feel they require a gardener more than a cleaner. But of course, such work is easy so my guys can do.

Oh by the way, this property is unique as its 3 bunglows on 1 plot of land. 3 storeys high, with their own pool at the basement. Hmm.. i dun mind having one on my own. But probably not joint with the rest. lol!

Anyway, they required only half day morning staff, but is everyday; Mon - Sun, Ph included.

Budget? After other works and supply of equipment, left over is $500 a month.

You might go like HUH?!? So little!!!

Well, cleaner's pay is really very little. Consider this, if a cleaner's pay a month is $1K(if they even get that amount), for working 8 hours a day, so half day is? At most, another $100 more cos of weekend and PH.

Even then, no local wants to work. Being a cleaner, although not a crime, is still quite a despised job. I'm sure many, if not all of you have heard this.. 'You dont study hard now ah... next time you'll end up sweeping the road!' This will give the young mind the impression that being a cleaner is pathetic.

We are facing the consequences of that statement right now.

Actually if my company is bigger, I might be able to get foreign workers. Cos they will surely be willing to work. I came across many but can't employ them. There is a cap on the ratio of local and foreign workers.

So well... yup... this is the loss. I've decided to withdraw from this project.

But i felt happy cause it has been an experience for me. And to withdraw is a wise choice. Why continue hold on to make a loss?

There is also a gain. I've gain another home cleaning project. haha.. It is a small one, but a new type. Something i like to explore. Actually I've only help out to do an adhoc job and they decided to engage for regular service. Woohoo!

So this is business, got gain, got loss. You just have to get used to it and be happy. LOL!
