November 7, a tradition that began since 1981, the lighting of the Giant Christmas Tree was held at the heart of Araneta Center, Cubao. A week after that, just across Dampa sa Farmer's Market the lighting of the life-sized Belen took place.

The Christmas themed decorations lit-up the streets of the country’s premiere lifestyle center.

I was really hoping to be at the lighting of the Giant Christmas Tree & Belen this year but overtime work prevented me from doing so. So I just have to settle for night shooting instead.
