the weather in singapore is really hot and humid. i'm always perspiring, and the air con in the trains are no longer strong enough. if only i havent take up so much committment this vacation, then i can well be enjoying the weather in australia.
project isnt going as planned due to external factors/parties. and we have done whatever we can to push them. at least a little.
going to watch some show online..

this vacation of mine will be packed. first with 4 external exams that i am taking. then with my CSP. lastly, the work that i need to do. i probably will not have enough time to rest once everything is due towards the later part of the vacation. once i am done with project play-it-right or i should say project H.I.T (Hold It There), then it is back to study.
anyway, i am going to shanghai again this year. this time with SMU under a BSM. it will be in december. i am going to love the weather there. it will be cold by then. i can get to wear my jackets, those that i dont get to wear in singapore.
i kind of planned what i want to take this coming semester already.
1) BSM to shanghai
2) CAT
3) MPW
4) MS
5) Finance
6) Negotiation.
went out with darling today. first to sim lim square then to iluma and last stop, vivo. just walked around in the malls and dinner.

three weeks of my vacation have just zoom-ed past. got back my results last week, my first C in almost 4 years. sigh. guess i will just have to do better the following semesters.
anyway, went to shanghai over the labour day weekend with mum and cousin to meet dad there. been to a number of places and some shopping. i will have to say that shanghai is actually very pretty at night with all the lightings. the weather is what i enjoyed most there. nothing like singapore's for the last few week or month.
met terri last week. it was our long overdue meeting. had a good time. took our brunch at sizzler's and we were in there for close to 3hrs. then took a walk in suntec before heading to the singapore flyer. there is a promotions for students where its tickets are going at $10 when you show your student pass. it is available on weekdays only and i think it ends this month.
will be going with darling tmr. and maybe tues. then wed to terri's party. not sure what to do on thurs, fri and weekend. i might be going for internship from next monday. i told the guy i am doing it but i will need his confirmation for it.
took up CFP module 1 this summer. i hope i will be able to do well or at least pass this given that the exam is one day after jian zhong's wedding. i think i will need to study consistently instead of just studying the weeks before afterall i have so much time now. maybe not if i am working. oh wells, see how things go again.

the donkey story (positive attitudes, turning problems into opportunities)
One day a farmer's donkey fell into a well. The farmer frantically thought what to do as the stricken animal cried out to be rescued. With no obvious solution, the farmer regretfully concluded that as the donkey was old, and as the well needed to be filled in anyway, he should give up the idea of rescuing the beast, and simply fill in the well. Hopefully the poor animal would not suffer too much, he tried to persuade himself.
The farmer asked his neighbours help, and before long they all began to shovel earth quickly into the well. When the donkey realised what was happening he wailed and struggled, but then, to everyone's relief, the noise stopped.
After a while the farmer looked down into the well and was astonished by what he saw. The donkey was still alive, and progressing towards the top of the well. The donkey had discovered that by shaking off the dirt instead of letting it cover him, he could keep stepping on top of the earth as the level rose. Soon the donkey was able to step up over the edge of the well, and he happily trotted off.
Life tends to shovel dirt on top of each of us from time to time. The trick is to shake it off and take a step up.

we quickly i am in week 10 of my second semester at SMU. at times i recall how much fun i had with my group of 10 in sp. at times i remember how nice is it to be working with a group of really nice colleagues at sif.
recess came and went. spent a lot of time trying to figure out my stats, but still couldnt untill one day before my test. i guess stats test should be alright. i did my best at it. what is wrong is fa. i just hope that with the bell curve, i will not be that bad. i couldnt balance any part for the 3 questions quiz.
projects are due soon. exams are coming in 5 weeks. summer holiday is coming soon too. but i've yet to find anything to do. i want to work, but just not sure if there is any available for me.
as for now, i should go back to studying. need to complete my readings for tmr's lesson.
