I'm into the recess week of my year 2 sem 1.
year 2 sucks. so many irritating projects.
the worst thing is i cant go on exchange to clear all these modules >.<
ARGH!!!!

nvm. i shall ren ming. because i know there are many others in the same situation like cat & yunny! we will tide through and enjoy ourselves on 31st Oct at the night safari in celebration of tay's birthday. YEAH YEAH!!!

meanwhile i will look forward to my bro's wedding amidst all these.
Did i mention that my bro's wedding is in 2 week's time???
Im so excited for it. YEAH!
and i have yet to buy new shoes for the occassion. i wanna go shopping!!!

HELLO

Exams have been over for one and a half weeks and i have been to taiwan and back. what can i say?? This is the ultimate shuangness in life. hahahha

Anyway, i foresee that i am going to slack the rest of my holidays away. what to do? i cant do anything. So i will just treasure this 3 months of break..

Since i have nothing to do, lets talk about taiwan.
It was quite fun, got to see, eat and buy many things. One shortcoming was that we returned back to our hotel at an average timing of 830pm every night. & this shouldnt be the case in taiwan where its night markets open till 2am!!! well, whatever.. my parents are tired, so theres no choice. but i still enjoyed myself nonetheless. Holidays are always fun :)

First day was spent at ximending because our fan4 dian4 was based there. Ximending is something like the bugis of Singapore or the Mongkok of Hongkong. Its supposedly where all the youngers hang out and shop and where idols like my Wang Leehom may appear for his mini concerts every weekend. Well, my first impression of Taiwan is that the people there are very friendly. And its not because they go around calling ppl shuai ge and mei nu without looking closer. hahah. its because they are always trying to strike conversations with you when you buy stuff from them etc. but of course i have also seen some black sheep among them. but i shouldnt comment. hehe. Anyway, we also went to this toilet-themed cafe. cute

Second day was a one-day tour package for us. It was generally a huge rush. We only had a glance of some of the major attractions before we were rushed to the next. First up was the zi4 you2 kuan2 chang3. Some memorial site to commerate a founder of taiwan. It was initially named after the founder but the site was renamed by the previous president. Interesting huh.

Next we went to KU4 GONG4. Some museum with all the historial artefacts. Interesting! there was a jade carved in the shape of a cai4 xin1 or whatever vegetable. and it really looks like a vegetable because the jade has a mix of green and white in the right amounts and places. But i only got to see a small part of the museum because as usual, we were RUSHED to the next place.

Next we went to another memorial site for the war heroes of the Chinese revolution if i am not wrong. HAHA. um. we reached there just in time to see the soldiers changing shift to stand guard the place. Their marching and everything was impressive. hah. According to the tour guide, standing guard there was part of their national service. i think i would have fainted if i were them.

We went to 2 other shops then after that to JIU3 FEN4. jiu fen is located within a small mountain. Looks somewhat like a village with shops selling food and souvenier etc.

& the whole night was spent at Shilin where we ate ALOT....

okay. im lazy to write abt the 2nd day anymore. On to the 3rd day...

3rd day was somewhat a shopping day. we went ard the major shopping centres but didnt buy anything because their shopping centres are like paragon o.O But we spent some time playing those machines for kiap-ing toys in this particular beehived shaped shopping centre. hahah. Their kiap-ing toys machine are so much cheaper than those in spore.
Then we went to taipei 101 and went on up to view taiwan. However, we couldnt see half of taiwan because of the weather..
Next, we went to WU FEN PU. which according to the tour guide said was a shopping haven for women. and it was a load of crap. because my sis and i spent only 20min there and went off empty-handed.
After that, on to RAO4 HE2, another night market. Didnt get to spend much time there because my parents were tired. but still got to shop around ABIT.
My sis, her bf and i decided to walk ard ximending since we were back at the hotel early. and we ate AH ZONG MEE SUA again. which was especially good because the weather was like 14 deg.

Dear readers,

OMG. life is so sian nowadays in hall. everytime im back in hall, i just feel like going back home. For your information, i have been going back home every monday afternoon after my lessons even though i have to go to school the next morning. See how desperate i am??? and it doesnt help that i cant chiong back on thursdays sometimes because i need to rush my work. and i have to stay in hall till saturday this week!!! i feel like a hamster trapped in my cage!! now i know how my hamster feels.

This week sucks. or rather this sem sucks. so many tutorials and projects >.< so irritating!!! cant wait for the sem to be over. :S next week is recess week. yet i dont feel relieved at all because i have even more work to do!! well, i guess uni is like that. Its a vicious cycle.

but i must ren ming like a nyonya. haha.
yunny. you too! i think you'll be the first to read it. haha

anw, i hope for some new additions to bring some entertainment to me in hall soon...

1st Nov 2008

It started off as a normal day with the exception that it was tay's birthday. nahh.. nothing significant. haha. So i got on with my normal day to day routine of eating sleeping & TRYING to study.

at around 12 noon, the good news came. Cat zhou the messenger told me the good news that i was going to meet the love of my life tonight at 8pm. i was like OMG!!! and feeling damn excited & nervous at the same time. hmmm.. even though i can only see your face from afar, i was already very satisfied. it was as though a miracle had come true!!!

So i set off to collect the ticket to my hot date for the night. It was a stressful affair because there were some hiccups here & there. Nevertheless, when there's a will, there's a way. I managed to get hold of the tickets thanks to the kind souls in cat zhou's family. Dont understand how kind souls are able to produce the beastly cat in the zhou family. whahahah. jkjk

Fast forward to 8pm. it was time for my hot date!!! However, he was late for 30min.. but anything is worth it. True enough, my hot date managed to put up a great performance that night with his talent, vocals & most importantly, charm. AHHH. SO CUTE~~~~~~

At 11pm, i was slammed back into reality.

okay. im no good at narrative stories. hahaha

THAT WAS THE BEST GIFT EVER!!! hahah. even though it wasnt from you, i still appreciate the effort you put in coordinating the collection of tickets btw your aunt, the man & I. hahaha. For once cat zhou did something useful. I TREAT YOU TO TANG BAO SOME DAY OKAY???

haha. so my inspiration to blog came sooner than expected and this inspiration came from F1!!!!
So yesterday was the F1 race and i happened to be at city hall for a project meeting and other stuff. So since tay was also there at smu having a project meeting, i decided to meet her instead of meeting huiyun and chris at amk library.. wahhahah. sorry la. Its been a long time since i last stepped into city hall and the F1 atmosphere was just too great to be missed. haha. anyway, tay managed to use her bratting skills to get cat zhou & her sis to come along so while waiting, tay and i decided to shop ard first.

& while walking, tay and i decided to go watch the f1 cars practising around the track. We stood at the metal barriers waiting for the cars to start their practice. After 15 min, we decided that they are not gg to start any time soon and we could walk faster to suntec (bu zi lian li). After walking about 10m, we suddenly heard the roar of the engine and brisk-walked back to the metal barriers. The cars were fast but not as fast as we thought it should be since they seem to brake at the turns. they are supposed to accelerate all the way!!! tay claims that her father drives faster than them. hahaha. but after all, i think its just practice. so the drivers are not so chiong yet..

Then after trying to catch various views of the car speeding through the tracks, we decided to go suntec for the warehouse sale. It sucked but tay managed to get the shoes she has set her eyes upon ever since it showed up in a mag. so good for tay. Yx & sis came soon after & we were thinking of ways & means to catch a better view of the F1. We contemplated trying to get to the Crystal palace restaurant since it has glass windows that overlook the track. Thinking we are rich kids who can at least afford a plate of fried rice, we set off to check out the prices only to find out its $100+, then we walked off embarrassed. HAHA

We tried a few more venues but all were cordoned off. so we decided to eat pizza hut!!! Once again we talked about the prime of our lives. The conclusion is even though kindergarden was tay's prime, she has remained roughly at the peak, so not that bad. my kindergarden was quite peak just that not as popular as tay who can influence the kids around her then also more or less there. yx claims that wx's prime is in her uni year 2 and everyone agreed that yx has never peaked before in terms of everything. maybe only during reed days when she was the queen. hahah. YX THE LAME HORSE!!

after that, shop, watch the even more fantastic f1 night race & shop again. the night one is even more cool than the afternoon one!!! The cars were damn loud!! then they drove damn fast!!! at first i was thinking whats the fuss abt F1, but now i understand. The sound of the engines alone can really arouse you~~~~ hahahha

yeah.. so my recess week wasnt that terrible after all.. hahah. yesterday totally compensated the whole week of essay-writing :D tiring but fun. cant wait for hongkong.. woohooo!!~~~

Quick update. Its finally recess week but it somehow doesnt feel like one. Recess week's supposed to be the time for us to catch up on our work but why is it that i feel i have more work than ever to do compared to the usual week. haizzz. i should just stop complaining and get down to my work. :(

Anyway, life in hall has been really fulfiling with all the healthy activities like captain's ball (and unhealthy activities like night mahjong) going on. Besides that i really feel at home in hall because of my HOMELY room :D The room is seriously a second home to char the roomie and i especially when we're stuck on an island isolated from the world 5 days a week. We chiong back to hall to slack whenever we have a break from school even if it is just a short 2 hour break. So as you can see, the hall is really a haven to us compared to sch. -_- yep. soo ppl, you all can continue visiting this little haven as and when you all like. no need for us to beg you using reverse psychology method.

& Lets go eat ya kun again soon yunny!!! even though you're getting incoherent and lame (we no longer understand your jokes), you will always be our favourite ya kun companion. Lets have 1 every fortnight to destress. hahah

YEA!! i am finally gg to blog. i figured that there may not be a chance in the near future for me to blog since uni is starting soon :'( BLAH.. I dread it and i think i'm influencing others to dread it just like how i influenced yunny & chris to dread working at reed by starting the working day with a "SIAN AH" ... hahaha.. Many reasons why I dread it:



- because i have to start studying again after not using my brain for 8mths
- because i have to stay in hostel instead of being able to go home everyday
- because i will no longer have such a long holiday in my life until retirement
- because i no longer will be able to watch my xiaozhu entertainment news till 2am everyday!!!
- because i no longer can go out with my friends & family as and when i like it



HAIZ.. howww........



i have been telling people that i will surely feel depressed and weep(secretly) in the 1st week of school and i mean what i say!! But hopefully i dont. Actually, i have no reason to complain since among all my friends, i am the one who slacked the most during this whole holidays. i had a total of 4 months of slacking at home (including the dec hols) instead of slogging at work. HAHHA.. okay. so i shouldnt complain anymore......

yea. so hopefully, uni will be alright. I have just submitted my hall FOC application form but am still feeling sceptical abt it after the traumatic experience in JC. hahaha

I realized how lucrative the job at reed is after receiving my pay for the month of april. For a mere 13 & half days of work, i managed to earn quite a significant amount. Maybe i should have just stayed on to work for the month of may and pushed all the interviews aside since most of the interviews i attended in the month of may were unconclusive(is there such a word?) HAHA.. Sigh. so the amount of money in my account is gg to remain stagnant for the time being and i will no longer look forward to the 26th of each month. >.<

Anyway, it has been 1 month into my slacking. Time passes really quickly when you're slacking. As in, i just idle my days away. hahaha. seriously speaking, i felt more useful when i was earning money. Now i feel like a burden -_-; Well, at least i save on the opportunity cost of travelling to work (WOW!) haehae.

2 more months of holidays to go. Oh mann.. Not so fast leii... haiizzz.

The return of the potato farmer ooooo

YUNNY is so irritating.. she claims that my blog is boring because it is not updated. hahaha

okay.. the blog has remained stagnant for 3 months because i am too lazy and busy to blog. hahaa. i suppose its more inclined towards the laziness part -_-;

Alot has happened during these 3 months, i have changed my job twice O.O
gotten back our life-changing results
and before we know it, there are only 3 more months to the end of our long holidays.
haizz.. we better enjoy these 3 months before we embark on our uni lives >.<

So as mentioned, i am back at r**d after a short stint in i**s. Not really short, it was around 1 and half months but well, it seemed looongg. probably because of the environment of the job. i think i should just keep mum about how it was like.

Yes! i am happy to be back at reed not only because i no longer have to squeeze in the mrt to novena but because i get to work witH YUNNY, CHRIS AND JINGYI again. Not only them, but many others as well thanks to chris who ascended the throne after yx left and huiyun who is next in line. hahaha. But then i guess it was the wrong time to go back because i couldnt commit. so i am most probably going to hand in my letter this coming monday to release me of this burden of having to bear with this nagging. seriously, all the nagging is affecting me.. not that i care. but as what yunny said "DONT LET A MERE CALL CENTRE TIE YOU DOWN!!". im sure it affects me in some way or another one.. sooo.. better to quit. i can always look for greener pastures...haha

Anyway, just to add in. LUNCH TIMES ARE ALWAYS FUN! especially without our boss around because we get to rate ppl & comment on jingyi's less-than-fantastic taste.. wahhaha.. Now i understand why we're all being left on the shelves because of our exceedingly high and unrealistic expectations. WANG LEE HOM & KENICHI MATSUYAMA!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep.. so it was fun earning money. im sure alot of people would agree with me. I finally got a taste of being financially independant. hahaha. although my parents still pay the bills for me, but at least i no longer have to ask them for pocket money or food & transportation fees which are really expensive >.< & it feels good to be able to shop at those expo sales freely without having to worry about having not enough money. hahaha

So i guess i am going to try and take up tuition. when i am desperate enough, i am gg to call up every single advertisement on recruit for tuition assignments. :DD

i have decided to blog due to popular demand (as well as an excess of time on my hands right now). hahahah

today is officially the day when i stop work (TEMPORARILY). Well, i think working has been a good experience. i got a taste of office life as well as a little of office politics. haha. the good thing abt working is that you dont have to worry abt anything at the end of the day after 6. i just go home for my dinner, watch golden path in a drowsy state, bathe, think abt what to wear the next day(which usually revolves ard 5 outfits for the week) and collapse onto bed to sleep. the bad thing abt working is that work takes up majority of your life away on weekdays.

okay. firstly, my job scope is to make appointments through cold calling. This went quite well the first few days of work but the numbers started to dwindle as the days go by. i dont know whether was it just our luck or whether was it because the mundanity of work sort of got into us. The appointments just didnt come in. well, we were okay with it until the complaints came in instead. hahaha. At first i thought it was J who complained so i started whining to the ppl ard me abt J. then i realized the real culprit was L and that J was not that bad after all. To think i thought L was nice the 1st time i met her. arghhh. soooo irritating.

So as the complaints came in, we eventually had to start meeting up with various ppl and telling them the problems we face over the phone & the only solution they could offer was to give us a LOOOOONG script that was supposed to help us to deal with ppl over the phone. The script was so loong (4 pages), it was kinda of ridiculous to recite it over the phone because these ppl would just bang down the phone on us. Nevertheless, we still tried to make appointments but to no avail.

So today is the last day. we made 2 appointments to end off for the day. HAHA

okay. besides all these, there were some interesting happenings that took place as well. An example would be a newfound relationship btw cat zhou and her favourite ant. (WTH) Well, yx, i think its weird that you're always falling for ppl 20 years your senior but i wish you all the best & may your relationship with ant climb to greater heights in 6 months time. HAHA

Oh. I also want to mention that lunchtime is always my favourite time of the day because the pantry is so nice with all the after-meal snacks & little talks. :D
Discussion abt Kaida & the 3 animals was also damn funny. HAHAH

okay. so despite the fact that it was only ard 3 weeks of work. I think i enjoyed myself overall, disregarding the stress over the appointment-making. haehae. Maybe i'll come back to join you all soon depending on the job opportunities. yeahhhh :DD

i can finally sleep late tmr.

the year 2008 is here and i believe its time for some new year resolutions since everyone is doing it(i'm a copycat!) and tuna knocked me out of my senses that i cannot remain aimless for the rest of my life. HAHA.

okay. my first new year resolution is that i should save at least 6000 to 7000 by the end of working. i dont know how am i gg to do this when i am still currently unemployed but i'll strive to do it. HAHA. maybe i should learn to be less fussy.

2nd is to read harry potter at least up till half-blood prince. HAHA.

i finished watching Lovely Complex in 2 days. OTANI IS SO KAWAIII!!! i wanted to put some screenshots here. but im too lazy. anyway, its a damn cute & sweet show.

Yesterday's mahjong session was fun!!! i think i haven touched mahjong tiles for 1 whole year and it feels good to be playing it again!!! Not to mention the excitement & thrill of playing with real money. HAHA. although the stakes were small (half of 20 cents per tai.. what kind of counting method is that) , we were all desperate to minimize our losses/ maximize our gains o.O Yunny was the overall winner.. BLAH!!! Her motto of "theres no friendship when it comes to money"(translated directly from chinese) sure has brought her far.

argh. the thought of everyone working pisses me off because it means i have less company. It also means i have less money. >.< KICK ALL OF YOU!!!

okay. i wanted to continue from the previous post yesterday but i was interrupted by something else. thats why it was left hanging at "enough about prelims".. haehae.

yesterday i went to marina square's pizza hut for cheesy bits. and the cheese was good! although it smelt abit like vomit at first in my opinion, it was nice all the same. Then after that we just went around looking for earrings and walking around before going home.

okay. so the reason why i left the brainstorming session halfway(sorry tuna & christine!) was that my sis told me to go sit her bf's car and drive around Singapore. it was fun!!!! his car was fast (i shouldnt tell how fast just in case my father sees this) and i had the feeling jay chou must have felt in initial d. wahhaa. So while driving past the expressway next to IKEA tampines, i saw the cute blue and yellow sign poking out in the dark. Theres nothing special about this but i have never really been on the road at around 12. haehae. Then we reached this place where you can view the planes landing at close proximity. okay. many of you would think this place must be the viewing hall of the airport but its not. its near the pulau tekong ferry terminal there. So i saw 4 lights in the night sky representing each of the planes that are queuing up to land and after awhile, 1 of them came nearer and nearer and it flied past above my head. SO COOL horr. And all the time, her bf was rattling on & on about what are the lights for and all since after all, he's trained in this field of work. okay la. quite interesting. haha

After that, we went to the back of changi airport's runway to see the planes take off. okay. i shouldnt elaborate on this although it was just as cool as them landing.

After that, they wanted to bring me to see transvestites. its this drive-through area where all the transvestites hang out and wait for customers to come & pick them up. Unfortunately, i didnt get to see any of them probably because they were on leave or something. Sigh. they were saying that real women would be ashamed of themselves when they compare themselves to transvestites. Sad case huh. Transformed men becoming prettier than real women. what is this world coming to!!!

Our last destination was the largest temple in Singapore at loyang.

yep. so that's abt my night out. 3 short hours but i saw lots of things :D

As much as i hate to say this but i really had a sucky time doing my papers this prelims. Many reasons for my feelings of suckiness. Firstly, i wasnt fully prepared for some of the papers i suppose, so serves me right. Secondly, there was insufficient time to complete them even if i did know how to do them. Thirdly, i was complacent towards the end of prelims, ie for today's bio mcq, i didnt touch my notes at all. i merely did 2 years of HC bio mcq. Lastly, i sleep at 230 every night (thats approximately 3 hours of sleep on some days) which is bad because it reduced my alertness while doing the papers and caused me to make alot of careless mistakes. ARGHH. Now i just hope i dont have to go for too many remedials because of sucky results.

Anyway, prelims are approaching! OH NO. HAIZ. i cant wait for A levels to be over. yet i knowi'll be screwed if i go for the exams in this state.

okay. on to better news. my sister finally brought her bf home. like finally?? they have been dating secretly for the past 2 months and all along i have been suspecting it because i noticed the usual symptons that tell you whether your siblings are dating. but thanks to informer yingxiu who caught them at hougang mall, my bro's gf and i confronted her and she said she was just abt to tell us. RIGHTTT. & so it was quite a dramatic weekend. i can no longer wear my rags at home because later her bf suddenly pop by and catch me in a slave-like attire. hahaha

i want to eat crabmeat and enjoy some air-conditioning. haehae

lets plan for some post-exam activities!!! or rather some post-prelims activities? ( thats if we have the time to play... maybe 1 kbox session?? ahhaha)

so its been a looong time since my family went for a buffet together and we have lost touch on our glutton abilities. there was this period of time when we had buffet like every 3 weeks and we really could stretch our stomach to their limits. yup. so it wasnt really a "stuff the food down your throat!" experience this time round even though i was bloated at the end. haha

P.S we wanted to have a buffet before the GST hike. :O

today i finally did my job as an spca volunteer. tay & i tended the booth at wheelock place from 2 to 5pm and we made $500!! woohoo~ if only the money was ours. i thought it was gg to be quite boring especially when there was supposed to be this other person also in our shift but in the end the person didnt come so we had the whole booth to ourselves. i realized ppl are more willing to donate like that than to stop halfway and donate to flag day. its like i did flag day last week and i know how tough it was but now when some flag day person stops me, im too lazy to dig out my QQ BEAR wallet to donate so i just continue walking. yeahh. maybe after As i'll still continue to volunteer for this kind of activity if i'm free.

So many passages to read. i think i was on the verge of collapsing after the last section. its like 4 hours of papers. and the person beside me breathes very loudly. although i breathe loudly too, he breathes louder. so i was quite annoyed. haha

Today is a public holiday yet more than half of my family members are outside either working or having fun (gambling with her neighbours in my mother's case, haha) and i am stuck at home preparing for my SAT. actually i have been stuck at home the whole of this week. not that my life revolves around SAT only but i just wake up at 11am, eat lunch then do abit of practice, eat dinner, watch tv, do abit of prac further and then watch tv & sleep. how boring can my life get. and after my SAT, which is on this coming Saturday, i will have to start preparing for my common tests because i'll be left with 3 weeks. EEEKS. but before that i think i will participate in the Great Singapore Sale before settling down to study. HAIZ

anyway, i was just thinking as we grow older. we seem to have less time for our family members. my brother has to work (even on a public holiday!) and spend time with his gf & her family (not that he only spends time with them, just that his time spans across alot of activities now) & not to forget he is gg to go back and study again. that means less time for family and better time management for him. On the other hand, my sister is a workaholic. she keeps working and working to earn money, which is a good thing, but i think she is working too hard.

For me, i have to study. Not that studying is a bad thing but its quite sickening sometimes especially when you know you HAVE to study because everyone out there is studying also. HAIZ. In addition, my father keeps reminding me that 39% of the cohort got A,B,B last year so it gets very frightening because you know very well that time is running out. (He got this information from the article in which theres this girl who got A.B.E and couldnt get into university but i think its because of her subject combi thats why she got rejected.)

To sum it all up. buck up june! haha. after this, i got all the time in the world to spend with my family & friends & to earn money.

The guy in there is very good-looking!!! although he was quite mean to the girl at the beginning, all is forgiven for looking so good. haha. just goes to show how looks can go a long way in how others judge you. you need to either possess a good character or the looks. & if you dont have both, its just too bad. thats how practical the world is. example is wang lee hom. i think hes a little eccentric but fans like me still adore him because hes so cuteee! (right yunny!?) haha. but im not saying that character has no part to play, it is just as important. i mean like JJ lin. he may not have the looks cut out for a singer but he has a very cute character which attracts yunny up till this day. haha. So girls, love yourself for who you are. <3 WOW (i think i only have girls reading my blog. haehae)

& yingxiu. your hair also nicer now la. you didnt waste $16. HAHA. btw, i felt like a celebrity when the 2 hairdressers were blow-drying my hair together at the same time. or maybe some princess. WOW! haha! & your new car is so nice to sit in. i cant help but comment this.

eh. yunny wants me to blog because you want to know abt my encounter with S&K's JJ is it???

okay. here goes.

tay, cihui and i were out for lunch after our harmonica at toa payoh. Before our lunch, we passed by S&K and got reminded of yunny's "JJ" but due to the huge crowd, we decided to come back later. SO after our lunch, we walked past S&K again. This time round we saw a guy spotting a JJ look-alike hairstyle (the permed one) from the back view. Then when he turned to walk out of the shop probably to eat lunch or something, we caught a glimpse of him. To our horror of horrors, we saw a JJ look-alike. haha. okay la. maybe we were trying to deceive ourselves that we saw yunny's "JJ" but seriously look abit like him. So he's like walking damn fast away from us amidst the crowd and we were desperately trying to follow and catch up so that we can get a clearer look. but no, we didnt get to see his face again. We then called yunny to verify her "JJ".

this "JJ" is

-bigger-sized & fatter. considering the fact the the real JJ is fitter now.
-has permed hair
-abit dyed
-wears black specs (which doesnt look like a specs. more of wear for fun kind i think)

1) BTW, tay is pestering me abt when is the next kbox outing. She didnt go the other time, so shes suffering from withdrawal symptons. Then i told her some time in Feb and she says its too long. such a pest. but the next time we go kbox, shes may have learnt or gg to learn how to sing HUA TIAN CUO (WANG LEE HOM'S SONG!!) because its the nicest song she has ever heard. AHHAHAH.

2) SIAN. TODAY IS SUNDAY AGAIN. MY SATURDAYS ALWAYS GO TO WASTE BECAUSE OF CCA. gg to sch 6 days a week is gross. Now i have to rush my work because i dont want to cower during lessons.

3) YAY. CHINESE NEW YEAR IS COMING IN LESS THAN A MONTH. I LOVE THE PERIOD BEFORE CNY. haehae. but i dont want it to come so quickly because theres nothing to look forward to after this. This year is the last year we get to have school celebration. so treasure it!

YES. my attachment is over. it was a great experience and i think i learnt alot out of those few days although much of the time was spent on folding gauze, especially the last 2 days. Surprisingly i didnt see any extraction of teeth nor any excessive blood loss these 5 days. Perhaps its because its a private clinic so they are expected to treat their customers with more care than those primary sch nurses who are so rough. but then i saw the dentist floss one patient's teeth till the floss turned red. so i assume that the patient has unhealthy gums >.>

so all the cutting and folding of gauze was coolie job. we even need to go and dig out patients' file from the OVERWHELMING cupboards of files. so since theres no pay, i kept drinkig coffee from their pantry. WHAHAHHA. how yao gui. & im the most slack compared to my 2 other friends because i seize every opportunity to slack and rest at the lounge area / go toilet. YEAH. so you know who to employ next time. ME

yay. i am happy i got into the dentistry attachment. I handed in 3 attachment forms lei. then i was kind of disappointed when i didnt get in either the hotel or the esplanade one. i thought there was no hope in getting into the dentistry attachment already since it is highly competitive and all. i think. although its only open to bio students? but well, the whole idea is I GOT IN. yayyyyyy :D now i have something to add to my cca record -_- & maybe some fun / fulfilling learning experience at the dental clinic (i wrote that in the form). wahahaah

today i bought the pair of shoes i have been LONGING for. but the bad thing is im not sure whether the person gave me a new pair or display set. i remembered feeling that the right shoe was more loose because it was on display and many other customers might have tried it before. the left one was tighter. so now my new pair feels exactly the same. right one is looser, left one is tighter. is my feet different-sized or what? although the right one looks as new as the left one but i would feel cheated if its a display one. SHIT MAN. i should have checked. i was too excited. sighhhhhhhh.

shopping is fun! i think tay influenced me into a shopaholic. i am like always seeing her spending her money buying new clothes everytime we go out. needless to say, she spent quite alot today again. so she has to survive on her peanut butter bread for the rest of the month's recesses ><

This goes to show how impt he is to the team. To think that ppl are biased against him because of his background. Shallow. And i seriously believe that he did the head-butt because he was offended by what the italian defender said so its not his fault. Please dont look at him in a different light just because of this. well, i have been leading a very fruitful and fun-filled life these few days, especially TODAY. haha. yesterday wasnt bad because i went to eat buffet AGAIN.

So, today was supposed to be harmonica chalet but it turned out to be more of an escape theme park outing for tay and i instead. we went escape early in the morning with 2 of our classmates (we are not loners okay?) this is my 1st time to escape. woohoo~ the rides were fun especially the Viking Ship and Wet & Wild. i think i would have enjoyed wet & wild more if i wasnt having my period. PERIOD. yup. we went to the haunted house which wasnt very scary. the 4 of us were mainly scaring ourselves by screaming non-stop, pulling and huddling together to the extent that we get entangled sometimes and the "ghost" has to come from the back to rush us. i kept thinking the ghost was touching me so i kept screaming but it turned out to be my friend tapping me instead -_-

too bad the inverter, alpha 8 and some rainbow thing were not operating. they are supposed to be more fun. i can imagine bursting out of the walls in the alpha 8 ride. we went to the beach then back to the dirty chalet for our food although we didnt eat much. tay and i decided to go back escape at 7pm and try out our fav rides one last time before the park closes. so we went on viking ship another 3x and 1 more wild & wet. HAHA. make our $$ worthwhile

to end off abruptly. because i am lazy to write more. FUN FUN FUN.

YEAHHH. i cant wait for post mid-year exams day to come. pig-pink and i were discussing abt post-exam activities as usual the other day during pre-exam period.
3oth june: free day because i got no chinese!
1st june: no activity yet.
2nd june: HARMONICA CHALET. i wanna go ESCAPE. sheryl made me all excited when she said theres this "haunted house" thing there. the temporal feeling of fear never fails to excite me although i think i will rip pig-pink's collar while holding on to her. i dont know. anyway i think she doesnt mind since she can seduce others with the exposure of some flesh. YEAH. so we intend to sneak away and go escape while the others prepare for bbq. SMART US. and we intend to carry out our plan although i think its gg to fail miserably.
3rdjune: Youth Day is shopping day for us while our fellow peeps are still slogging for the exams.yeeehaa.

For your information, my exam papers will come to an end before all of yours. WHAHAHAHA. pig-pink still has chinese to worry abt. WOOHOO~~lets go kbox after all our papers end okay? that will be like around mid-july due to some inconsiderate ppl holding us up as she will still be having her papers at that period of time while we are enjoying herself.

went kbox yesterday to celebrate cr's birthday. YEAH. i love singing but i feel kind of cheated since i came 1 hr later and according to the rest, they went in at 1130 and we were forced to leave at 130. WAH LAU. okay. next time we have to stand up for ourselves and fight for our rights. i think cairo wanted to argue with the 'manager' abt the rightful time our session should end but the 'manager' doesnt seem to understand what she is trying to say so she stopped. :(

after that, we went shopping. theres not much to shop despite the much awaited GSS. All the sale items either look like rags or they are still very expensive. The gowns are nice though and i was contemplating to buy them for my future wedding since i doubt i will be gg for the d&d next year.
then we went to eat fries at mos burger. yingxiu kapo-ed my iced milk tea and she wasted alot of sauces and ketchup like an ahsoh. DING TAI FENG was the best part with its tangbaos and egg fried rice. We sat there eating like a bunch of taitais. I won the last remaining tangbao on the table as usual. A sense of disappointment overwhelmed sheryl after knowledge that she had failed to win. (i think we were the only ones fighting)
finally, we went shopping at far east plaza and ate supper at ya kun kaya toast. i learned not to add too much soya sauce to my half boiled eggs unless i want to drink a plateful of salt solution at the end.

so our next kbox outing will be after the mid-years. woohoo~ i want more DUETS. haha

come to think about it, the entrepeneurship camp was OKAY to a certain extent with the exception of an ah beng who ruined it for me. not exactly that i am affected by it because he doesnt bully me or anything but hes my group member and i am sort of disgusted by his actions, ie. he smokes every break time. he is someone whos all talk but no play. I DONT WANT TO BE MEAN BUT ITS THE TRUTH. anyway, it was quite FUN. because my facilitator and the other girls are very friendly. i told you i only mix well with GIRLS. Not that i can help it since all the guys i personally know are of an exceptionally low standard in terms of character(i dont judge by looks okay) with the exception of tender and some others maybe. YEAH.
So today was sort of the last day of activities and we played the CEO game which was supposed to train your decision-making skills. so this cao ah beng hogged on to the PDA and insist on getting his own way like a brat, only worse than that. He reminds me of my idiotic cousin that i had so many unpleasant childhood memories with. haha. and ALL the way i can smell cigarette smoke from him. i told him he stinks. HAHA. its quite obvious he wanted to hold onto the PDA so i didnt snatch it from him as usual for fear that he might punch me or something. anyway, he will snatch it back very soon as seen by what he did when the other girl tried to take control tof the pda. This lasted for around 4 hrs.I only gave constructive comments in the meantime playing the game. I PRACTICALLY WASTED MY TIME THERE but i really got to interact with my facillitator and the other girls during that time. i FINALLY got the feel of the PDA in my hands after 530 when he left. YEAH. and the last part was the MOST FUN part because he was not around and it was the climax of the game. everyone was kan chiong trying to sell their products.Bidding part was fun. As expected, my team ended up bankrupt. HAHA. SHI BAI. but its just a game la. so overall, i sort of enjoyed myself and i have decided to attend the final day which is tomorrow. YAY.

Anyway, besides learning about entrepenuership skills in the camp, i learnt something else, "never choose an ah beng as your bf" *pukes* There are better catches out there seriously.hehe *points to the left*

>< bleahx. i want to go out! im stuck at home wondering whether i should start my revision. haha. & my father is like nagging at me each time after i come back home from an outing. BLAH. JC life is so miserable because of the prospect of retaining if i dont start studying. NOOOooooooo

anyway, i had fun the past 4 days. YEAH. i love gossiping although i know its becoming very auntie of me, i dont care!
1)Fri: i had 2 SPAs. then i felt the same way as when i completed my chem o-lvl paper. haha. went junction 8 to eat and gossip. FUN eh? and i only spent like $5 the whole day.
2: Sat: went kbox with my bro and sis. i nearly vomitted from excessive singing because theres not many ppl snatching the mike. haha
Sun: went compass pt to shop. quite pissed with my sis that day (as always) at night went to watch da vinci code.
Mon:went yingxiuuu's house to slack and be a freeloader. tay and i collaborated and invited ourselves there. HAHA. ate alot of things once again and i stole yingxiu's lunch away. yeah~ GOSSIP once again and discussed abt cuties. HEHE

yeah. quite fun. but my father nags after i come home from every outing. :s anyway, i want to go SHOPPING. wheeee~~~

okay. harmonica concert is over. i feel quite sad. seriously, i enjoyed this performance more than any other band concert performances in the past. firstly, because got supporters of course like xiaoyan & bf, yx, hy, cr and christine shouting our names all the way. also, ruth & janice chen. haha. yeah. its very funny. i was um- chioing all the way.thanks
secondly, because harmonica is very FUN and relaxing. unlike band which is quite scary.
thirdly, i enjoyed every harmonica practice and it was not a burden at all despite the late nights. so i had a very GREAT sense of satisfaction performing. yeahhh.

anyway, its over already. now, i just want june hols to come :)

today we got half day AGAIN! woohoo~~ because our sch softball girls got champion. i think we are gg to get another full day off soon. so ppl dont be surprised if i suddenly call you in the middle of the morning and ask you to go out. are you all GREEN with envy??!?!

TAY is devastated and has since started hallucinating about her past relationship with doudou which has never taken place before. too badd tay. please dont think of gg back to dino because IT is mine!. hahaha.

i am blogging in schoool right now while waiting for harmonica practice to start.

HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY:i had napfa test!and i did 5 inclined pull-ups because the teacher was very lenient!! YEAHH. but its still considered fail in my school. must do 7 or 8. so now i have to go for extra pe lesson alone because all my other friends passed this time round :O HOW. HY WE ARE SO BEI CAN. sigh... but nvm. i know yingxiuuu is also very bei can in running 2.4. YOU CAN DO IT. anyway, you wanted to know how much time i took right? i ran in 15.49min. YEAHH. i'm faster than alot of you. *dancing man wink*


oh yah. my maths teacher is so scary. today i went to the toilet to shit after assembly with tay. he was already teaching when we went back to class. so hes quite angry i think. i think like 1 minute late? then my friend started explaining to me whats gg on so i turned to face her. then he scolded me saying,"dont disturb your friends when you are the one who came late yourself." something like that but its worse. i know i am wrong to be late BUT ITS SO SCARY. :ss i scarred he pick on me from now on. BLAH

had harmonica practice today, blowing and sucking caused my neck to ache. quite fun la because its not as stressful as BAND.

then at night my sis and i went heartland mall to buy flowers for our mother( at the shop near mcdonalds. it sells cheap flowers. haha. free advertisement. so you all know what to do. HAEHAE). we bought creep paper and brought home to wrap (we were on budget). the bouquet was quite a failure... in order to space out the flowers, we stuck the stalks we cut off from the end of the roses in between. so you can see like signs of stalks here and there but its the fillial piety that counts. so we are happy and threw it into the fridge :D <

anyway, to all the mothers in the world

back to boring life
during chinese period, we went to slack at computer lab. then we ended up telling ghost stories. which was so creepy. then after that had lectures and tutorials and tay, me and another girl ended up at the treehouse talking while the others were having SPA. we started talking abt how we cant seem to communicate and comprehend some of our classmate's jokes. and why we ourselves think our jokes are so FUNNY. conclusion: neighbourhood sch ppl have more or less similar frequecies.yah. and some bird shit fell through the small little holes in the roof of the treehouse and fell on tay's blouse. after smelling it, she decided to wash it and this ended off our gossip session. haha

i realized i just have to continue on with my life and start PULLING UP MY SOCKS because i think i will get a zero for the econs test that i just took. CHUM LA. i didnt know what i was writing. ><
