...model shooting was much more enjoyable than expected... initially thought it'll be very stressful with all the rushing from one place to another, not enough time to shoot everything, etc etc... Everything was going very smoothly and i think partly because we had a great model with a very pleasant personality... not forgetting the generous host of forking out some money to book one of the most expensive hotel in SG just to get a decent shots that hopefully doesn't look too local... =P ...Will definitely go for another one if there is an opportunity in future!... X) ...btw, really want to thank Ivan for jio-ing me for the whole model shooting thingy...!

...aaargghhhhh!!!... didn't update this blog for quite awhile already... i doubt anybody still reading this anyway... Okie, so i have been away from involving myself in photography lately... All thanks to my 8-5 job (actually i work more than that 8 hrs per day voluntarily)... Spend most of my time working and by the time i have a little bit of personal time, I'll use it to rest, sleep, watch anime and mostly stay indoor... But today is an exceptional... feel like playing around with my camera and re-motivate myself taking photo and enjoy the nature... So i borrowed Tamron 90mm from TS and went to SBG for some shots... photography is the best medicine to cure the boredom after countless days of non stop working...

Day Trip To Pengerang, Johor...

...woohooo~ i felt pretty good these days due to some certainty about what i'm going to do later toward this year... Really looking forward to it although there are still some other necessary stuff to settle... Hope everything will go as smoothly as planned... Anyway, last Sunday went to Pengerang, Johor... It was really a small town located somewhere South-East of Johor... Basically we were not sure why we wanted to go there and did not expect much from this trip... at least i don't =P ...Nevertheless it was really a memorable trip to be able to spend some time off with friends... and can let people know that it is really not much to see over and don't bother t0 visit... Spending our time waiting for the boat to there and from there were terrible! We basically spend most of our time just to board a boat... ~1hr waiting time before departing, ~1hr trip to Pengerang, ~1.5hrs waiting time to get back home and ~1 hr trip back to SG... speechless man...

...Happpyy New Year!!!... Never go countdown this year but not really into that anyway... Busy with moving house stuff, unpacking and cleaning room are enough to occupy the whole day... Anyway, went to East Coast Park for a cycling trip... Have not been to ECP for ages already! I think the last time i went there was at least 4 yrs ago... It was really fun to cycle from ECP to Changi Village/Beach... but end of the day we got sunburn... none of us actually apply any form of lotion... Darn it, my whole arm is freaking painful... =(

2010 A.D Finale...

2010 '1st-time' List:

1. White water rafting at Kiulu River, Sabah [...almost drown]
2. Officially earning money from photography [...finally~]
3. Taking international flight alone [...12 years ago, i dun even dare to take bus to town alone =P]
4. Stepping onto Australia's soil [...it's 'surprisingly' similar to the soil here in SG and MYS]
5. Encountered rowdy "monkeys" [Sydney]
6. Driving for more than 400km in a day [...Great Ocean Road was the greatest road trip ever!]
7. Driving Toyota Altis with GPS for 1-2 days [...in reality, i dun own a car... yet]
8. Skiing at Mt Buller, Australia [...almost fell to death]
9. Involved in a skit during the KKH Quality Day [...'kalefe' actor]
10. Completed 21.1 km category Standard Chartered Marathon! [...unexpectedly better than expected]

...In about a week time, 2010 will soon be over... There are a lot of things happened this year although this year not so happening as compared to last year... Even though there was an outbreak last year, we seems to be able to do or go somewhere together more frequent than this year... Perhaps each of us has their own things to settle... part-time study, further study, busy and demanding work schedules, family commitment, etc etc... Somehow it feels like we are going through some new phase in life... Anyway, wish everybody Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!~ and may all of us have a blissful holiday and year ahead...

Run...!!!

...this is my first time participating in Standard Chartered Marathon... It was really fun running for several hours with millions of people... The first half of the marathon was the toughest coz each of the distance reminder was no where close to a double digit and i was starting to run out of my breath... Things get even worse when seeing ppl running back from the opposite side of the road... It was really bad for the moral and keep asking myself where the hell was the turning point... Towards a few kilometers to the finishing line, i started to feel some muscle cramps on my left leg... Luckily it wasn't really serious and manage to get myself to the finishing line... Nevertheless, i never expected to have completed the race in 2hr 15mins... My goal was set higher than that... woohoooo~~ Shall go for it again next time...

New toy...

...yay! Finally manage to get myself an early Christmas gift... Have been looking for a PnS camera for quite some time already... It's great to have a more portable camera so that i can bring it around and take some random shoots... Since this camera is quite cheap, i don't have much to say about it's performance in picture quality... Of course, the picture quality and resolution can't be compared to a dslr's but nevertheless, i'm pretty satisfied with it's performance...
