10 days to hols!
Actually I don't see the point in counting down to the hols. It's not like the end of year hols are very inviting. I seem to be getting busier after promos. All thanks to PW. (and choir, but that's ok. PW isn't) I actually miss the pre(but not so near)-promo period!
Hm I forgot what I wanted to say. Had our first (for my group) OP (oral presentation) for PW today. We're really not prepared. And the written report still isn't finalised. Oh man. A lot of work to do. And it doesn't help that I'm probably the slackest of my group. Keep feeling like I'm not doing enough.
Chem SPA skill A lecture got cancelled today, it's slot taken over by the NUS physical chem H3 selection test. I didn't go for it in the end. Partly cos I didn't think physical chem would be interesting, and partly cos I was lazy to study for it. Haha. I'd better get the MOE pharmaceutical chem H3 then... Hopefully. My MSG is just outside of the minimum 2.6- 2.75. Sigh econs sucks. Oh ya my final grades are
[EDIT: Hm no point telling the whole world my grades. It's not that I'm showing off (I'm not one of those super pro people la..), but I just decided it's weird to tell people my results. But I shall say I got A for Chem! haha]
I'm quite satisfied with my grades. Quite. A little regret for Physics, cos I could have done better had I spent more time preparing. Really (VERY) happy with chem. Relieved for maths, cos I expected to get around 50- I left quite a few blanks). A little dissapointed with econs, but not very, cos the cohort did badly on the whole. I'm in the 12th percentile though (which means last 12%, not top 12% lol), so I guess I could have done better. I just hate the unpredictability of econs. I got 15 for one essay question and 6 for the other. Look at the difference man. I'm satisfied with GP, but I know I could have done better for the essay cos I knew I was writing crap during the course of the paper haha. Got 29 though. Can't complain. People say the language marks were inflated. Well it was the first time I got 14/20 for language.
If only I managed a D overall for econs... then I wouldn't have to bother about appealing for chem H3. But if all goes well I can still get it. If all goes well...
Hm. Oh. Right. Open House. I'll leave that for another day.
Maths lecture tmr. I wonder what we'll be doing. Vectors? Lol I left the vectors question (almost) blank in promos.
Gonna sleep. So much for sleeping earlier. Not gonna get enough sleep again.
[EDIT: Oh I forgot to mention! 61 celebrated by birthday today (tuesday)! I thought they weren't going to, cos I already received smses on saturday itself, and nothing happened on Monday. So they caught me off guard. haha. There was even a cake! Yay I love my class]

I'm BACK
Hello! Haha I'm back from my... I shan't say hiatus. It wasn't a "a break or interruption in the continuity of a work, series, action, etc." Oh. So that's the definition of "hiatus". Ok so maybe it was. A two-month long one, not counting that post I made to placate my readers.
I actually planned to start blogging again yesterday. But yesterday came and went and I ended up not blogging. Actually lot of yesterdays have come and gone without my blogging.
Ok I'll start by writing about yesterday. What's so special about yesterday? Of course it's special! October the 14th! On that day in 1989, I was born! ME! Yay.
My birthday this year really is special. Not cos I'm seventeen, but cos for the first time ever my birthday wasn't during the exams period!!! Not many people may understand, but it's really sad to have your birthday during the exam period. I remember my PSLE chinese (or was it higher chinese) was on my birthday. Sucks man. Ok hm I think I've mentioned it before, last year.
[EDIT: Ok it turns out in 2001 (the PSLE year) 14Oct was a Sunday. Whoops. So I remeberd wrongly all along. But I'm quite sure I had a chinese (or higher chinese) paper on my birthday. Must have been another year]
Speaking of 17... I don't really feel old. 17 years old is supposed to be... quite old right? For teenagers I mean. Adults would probably say 17 is "very young!!!" But 17-year-olds are supposed to be big, smart and mature. Ok I'm quite big (still hoping to hit 175! even though I've stopped growing for almost 3 years), and I'm quite smart (haha). But I don't think I'm mature. Well, not mature enough anyway. Yet people say I am. Maybe I am, maybe I just think I'm not. Hm.
Anyway yesterday was also special cos I got a surprise visit from the altos (after their alto outing)! (and one tenor and one bass). Haha it was more of a "surprise", cos I knew way beforehand that they were coming. Just played along with their (or lynnette's rather) "Erm so no particular reason but what time would u be back from lunch? XD". Haha.
Zhikang (the only tenor) arrived first though. The altos took quite a while after to arrive (I later found out that it was cos they were downstairs preparing my gifts. haha) They came out of the lift singing. I was a little overwhelmed at first, cos I didn't expect them to sing....
INTERRUPTION: Crap I lost everything after this. Cos blogger hanged after I tried to upload an image. Aargh this really interrupted my flow of thoughts. Ok gonna try to recreate what I lost...
.... so loudly before they even stepped in carrying a big box/bench. Very big. Ok actually not super big but still quite big. But well they did come from Ikea. I also didn't expect hangers, a table mat, a weighing machine, a box in a box in a box in a box in a box...etc, and a pink toilet bowl cleaner. And I totally didn't expect a rat that was named zhexi junior!!
After I took all my presents out of the box we decided to watch V for Vendetta. Or rather, someone said "V for Vendetta!", and we ended up watching it. DVD. Pirated. Whoops haha. It's not a bad show. I like how V talks. But no, I don't think the mask is hot. Anyway jonny showed up when we were watching already. He gave me ice cream. Haha weird. But it's quite nice. Haagen Daaz. Yum.

It was a fun day. Thank you again lovely (*ahem) altos! and one tenor and one bass. Haha aw no sops. Next year again ya? Oh wait there's A levels. Aargh. Oh and thanks to everyone else for all the smses! This year is special. JC life really is different.
Ok I don't feel up to writing about Open House (which was on friday- the 13th.) Shall write tmr. No promises! Might write tmr. And of course I have to have a post about the promos (sigh). Soon.
Oh I just thought I'd mention. My name is actually two words. Yup. I don't really mind, but it just seems weird to see my name written as one word.
