Wedding Fun

My husband tells me I apologize way too much, but I'm going to start off with an apology. I'm sorry to the many friends and family members we did not get see while we were in UT, many of you probably didn't even know we were there. It was a quick 4 day trip with lots of wedding festivities. Andrew's brother, Stewart, got married to an amazing and talented woman named Jessica. They make such a great couple. The more I get to know Jessica, the more I like her. She was even brave enough to sing a song for Stewart at the luncheon.  She sang, "The Very Thought of You" by Billie Holliday. It was so sweet and makes me want to cry just thinking about it. The ceremony  was beautiful and the reception was gorgeous. I forgot my camera, so thanks to Katie and Deb for sharing all their pictures with me. The photos are going crazy and I can't change the order, so in no particular order...

Eathquake

We just had an earthquake. Yes, an earthquake. I did not think we would have to ever worry about that here. Charlie had just fallen asleep, and I was doing dishes. Then everything just started shaking. At first I thought it was the neighbors-they had some noisy maintenance going on earlier today. I was at least grateful to know my instincts don't paralyze me. I ran upstairs and grabbed Charlie then stood under a doorway, and then it was done. It only lasted about 10 seconds. It was a 5.9. I have stopped shaking, now if only Charlie would go back to bed.  It's a good reminder to get 72 hour kits ready to go!!

I Spy with My Poopy Eye

This was the start to my day. I did not even know where to begin cleaning. It was ALL over Charlie's crib, eyes, ears, hands, and mouth-yuck! Poor kid. He wasn't even crying, just sounded content as could be. I guess he was happy to have a new toy to play with. Please don't play with it again little monkey. I really wasn't sure if I was cleaning up after a human or an ape. Here's the less gross picture.

The real Stink Eye

Just Charlie

I always vowed that once we had kids I would still post other thing besides photos of our children on our blog. I rarely do a post all about Charlie, but he's so stinking cute and fun, and he deserves his own post from time to time! He has learned a lot of new tricks lately, including waving, clapping, shaking his head "no". Unfortunately his tricks exclude crawling and walking, but that sure makes life easier for us. We have so much fun with our little Charlie and can't believe he will be 1 in less than a month. All of the sudden he doesn't seem like a   baby anymore. Each stage he is in becomes our new favorite. Let's hear it for Charlie!
Charlie loves his books

I love his tiny handprints (I'm sure that will change soon)

Looking awesome in some sunglasses

Charlie's First Sleepover
Cute Lucy slept over and she was an angel. It was so cute to see those two sharing toys and interacting.

He Passed!!!!

Andrew just found out he passed Part II of his dental boards. I am so proud of him (and also VERY grateful that he doesn't need to study anymore!).
